PRINTER : need everyones participation - Scot's Newsletter Forums

The idea is this: I started this thread to be able to list the printers you are all using on any linux distro . Simply copy 'n paste the below in your replies and add the necessary information: Quote: Brand and Model: inktjet, laser, MFP/all-in-one: Driver used: Distro used: I'll try to keep an eye on the thread at regular intervals and fetch the info from the posts, then put them in the placeholder below to keep the info in just that post. Click Change,click Brother, click ' Other' button and navigate to the BR5250_2.PPD file in /usr/share/cups/model and select this file as driver.

I did use the predecessor package several versions ago, and scanning did work, but I don't scan very often and I have not pursued it for my last few installs.
