How do you increase traffic to your blog?
I've heard the best way to increase traffic to your blog is to comment on other people's blogs, but do people actually follow the links they see in the comments or is the traffic purely from all the links to your blog Google will see?
If the blog owner has tthe nofollow attribute enabled all those links you've added won't count for all that much.
So what are some other methods of getting traffic to your blog?
And more importantly, how do you keep them coming back to your blog?

Well to be fair you;ve just got to think outside the box for example what do alot of people look at every day?
Youtube vids?, forums?
Ect the best free guides i found that helped me loads was

Forum posting in niche forums helps too.
Forums are generally dofollow, so helps getting indexed in Google too if you have anchor texts in your signatures.
That is a very good way to promote your blog.

Commenting on related blog is also great!
Post legitimate comments and then sign your name with a link to your blog, people know you arenât there just to promote your site youâre there to post a good piece of feedback and also say where youâre from.

My primary promotion technique is video blogging on sites like youtube, break, metacafe, dailymotion.
Youtube is my #2 source of targeted traffic and my #4 or #5 source of overall traffic.
But then again, video blogging is not for everyone.
