Yup - I agree - I first heard it from her, but Roy is just way more nuanced with it.

I'm also a fan of both, but there is no one that can do Blue Bayou like Roy!
Anything else is just a copy.
Ronstadt is a phenomenal singer, but it's not the same.

Does anyone else remember him on Saturday Night Live?
Just before the whole Travelin' Wilburys thing, he made an appearance on SNL.
Second song he performed was "Crying".
I thought, "man he sounds great, but he's getting older.
He will never hit that high note." Well...he NAILED it!
I always liked him, but he became a hero to me that night.
