Cubase.net .:::. View topic - Hot Keys, Tips and Tricks and adding markers to a wave file.

I' was wondering if any of you guys know where I can find a web page or document that has Hot keys, Tips and tricks for Wavelab 5.

I'm new to audio editing and Wavelab. Also, I record all my live concerts/flamenco guitar lessons onto Mini Disc and export to Wavelab as one audio file.

I want to be able to drop markers onto parts of the wave file to seperate it into multiple tracks, I've tried doing this per the instructions in Wavelabs help to no avail.

Any help would be greatly apreciatted. Thanks, Marco

Simply add markers where you want the splits, then run the auto-split function (Ctrl+T).

It'll split the track up into clips.

The manual has pretty detailed info on this. As for a document with tips and tricks, the January 2005 issue of Computer Music has a Wavelab 5 key command guide on the last page. There are some on-line tutorials for Wavelab 4 at: http://www.pcaudiolabs.com/downloads_video.asp Regards, Glider

Thanks Glider, The info you provided is going to help me so much.

I've already checked out pcaudiolabs.com and the video tutorials are cool.

Now, all I need is to find a Wavelab 5.0 Manual in PDF format.

Good looking out. Regards, Marco

Well, you won't likely find a .PDF version of the manual.

It's the thick hard copy volume that came in the box when you bought the Wavelab 5 software.
