Vista + Pearl + Bluetooth = No Drivers? - PinStack.com
I am able to sync my pearl with desktp messenger over bluetooth in Windows Vista.
However, In my device manager, I now have 2 "Other Devices" called "Bluetooth periferal device".
Everything seems to function correctly, but I can find any sort of blackberry bluetooth drivers to get the correct drivers loaded.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

I'm lost. If your pearl syncs fine.
What's the problem?
Are you trying to find drivers for the other devices?
The native window drivers should be on vista, they were included in with service pack 2 on xp.
Hope that helps. If not, I guess I bumped it.

Like I said, yes the pearl syncs fine but I have 2 devices listed in other devices in the device manager now that that I cant load drivers for.
Both are bluetooth devices having to do with the blackberry pearl.
And no, the drivers are not included in Vista for bluetooth, otherwise they would be loaded already and I wouldnt be posting this.

What are the other 2 drivers ??
Surely the pearl only needs the 1 and you say it is working.

I too did this yesterday....
We are missing the bluetooth modem driver from rim.
If we have this we could use the bluetooth we could go online wirelessly with a laptop.

We are experiencing "early opter syndrome".
Those of us who always have to have the newest and fastest and best also have to put up with figuring the things out for the first time.
People a year from nowwill just read our threads and not have to do any work.
I'll let you know when I figure it out if you' all will do the same.
LOL

Vista can see your phone is an input device, and I guess it's trying to set it up so you can control the mouse pointer etc.
As no drivers are written, it doesn't know how to handle it.

I have the same problem, have any drivers or special phone software been made yet??
I'd like to move files and music to my media card over bluetooth.
(btw, 4GB card in the 8100 = real nice)

It's an old peeve...
I've had all kinds of Blackberries used as tethered modems over USB, but never over Bluetooth.
Does anybody have a Bluetooth modem driver?
...for any BB -- I'd like to see it, I never happened to come across one.

Bump...anyone find a solution for this?
Tired of getting the popup saying the bluetooth drivers aren't loaded when everything is working fine.
Although I haven't tried it as a modem yet.
(This is on desktop so it's not necessary).
