Any good ideas for diet snacks??? - April 2009 Babies/ No negativity group - BabyCenter
Popcorn is always a good one, fruit,nutrigrain bars.

I actually just bought some 100 cal popcorn, butter and kettle corn flavors.
I also am very happy that apples are in season, they are my fav!!

I'm trying to lose some weight right now.
I buy Slimfast snack bar/muffin bars.
They are only 120/140 calories each and I always have them in my purse.
I also eat pretzels, popcorn, & fruits(bananas, apples, grapes, raisins, etc.)

You don't want my opinion..
BUT i'm going to give it anyways.
WHO DIETS?
Hahaha You go girl!
I do NOT have the willpower.
BUT if you take snack size baggies, fill them with fruit, or pretzels.
Portion size is what really matters.
Also eat 8 small meals a day.
Eating larger meals 3 times a day isn't good for your metabolism.
Ok i'm done.
Or you can be a fatass like me who eats a whole thing of oreos.
I'm trying.. but i'm Bfing and I'm still eating like I was pregnant.
But I only have 15 pounds to lose and i'm back at my pre preggo weight.

Well the thing is, I was use to being able to eat a lot because I was breastfeeding, thats how I lost the weight so well.
But now that I stopped I need to change my eating habits because the weight is coming back on.

I love to eat fresh fruit with a little fat free cool whip.
I'm a "sweets" person so when I'm dieting I'll put fat free cool whip between to chocolate graham crackers and freeze them...dessert!
I love the caramel corn mini rice cakes, too.
For other things besides sweets, I eat a ton of carrots, celery with a little peanut butter, yogurt, nuts, trail mix, pretzels, etc.
I find it easier to control myself if I pre-portion things.
Low-fat popcorn is also a great option because it's pretty filling.

I'm with lrog on the whole anti-diet thing.
But i do go on what i like to call "health kicks" when i'm big on apples or pears with peanut butter or cheese (cheddar for me) string cheese is good, celery/ carrot sticks w/ pb or ranch dressing, popcorn (i almost typed poopcorn, lol) basically, non-prepackaged stuff to avoid any added salt!
And i also love to drink lots of water!
nose picking, butt scratching, whip-the-boob-out first timer

Trail Mix--they sell it in bulk at Costco and it's a lifesaver sometimes.
I hate to admit this and I KNOW it's not healthy but when I "forget" to eat breakfast or any other meal, I go straight to the trail mix...

I like the no sugar added or Natural Motts Applesauce.
One serving cup has 50 calories...so I can eat 2 and not feel guilty!
I sprinkle a little cinnamon sometimes.
The regular stuff has 100 calories in one of those 1/2 cup servings.
I also have to hide them from my almost 3yo...he could eat them in a day.
