Torrents Legal in Sweden = Legal in US? - Suprbay Forum

In this thread, Elin (Super Moderator) said that anything that is legal in Sweden stays on Piratebay.
So if these torrents are legal in Sweden, are these type of nude modeling torrents legal in the states / US?

Swedish law does not apply in America.
What may be legal to host on the Swedish TPB could very well be illegal to d/l in America.
So check your local laws first because they're the only ones that will matter to you as a d/l'er.
If you d/l shit that's illegal in the US you'll be punished according to US laws and not saved from prosecution because of Swedish ones.

Actually yes, the torrent files are legal, the data which the torrents link to is a different matter.
in the U.S., the majority of nudity with minors in it is considered child pornography, whereas in sweeden it's not.
The reason elin makes the point that if it's legal in sweeden it stays on TPB is because the owners of TPB are sweedish, so as long as they are not putting themselves in danger by hosting content that is illegal (in their country) it stays.
my advice is just don't download it, and try to stay away from search terms that can lead you to said content.

Here is a site that "Claims" to be 100% legal in the US:

Is it really 100% legal?
Or is it some sort of trick?
And if it is legal, because the subject matter is controversial, can you still be arrested later on?

How do we know your local laws or what pictures you'll be viewing?
Am I right in assuming this is a question about looking at/downloading pics of naked children since adult-nudity is perfectly legal?
