Ryan Happy To See Ryan Return - The NHL Arena

Quote: When it came to the Ducks' eight exhibition games, there was one thing winger Bobby Ryan enjoyed the most.
That was the return of center Ryan Getzlaf, who appeared in his second exhibition game in the Ducks' 5-4 victory over the Kings on Sunday after having sports hernia surgery in the off-season.
With Getzlaf and Ryan directly involved in two of the goals Sunday, Ryan was upfront on why that served as the preseason highlight.
"So I can get some goals," he said.
"I don't mind that one bit.
He's such a dynamic player.
It's nice to come out and control a game at times."
Even during Getzlaf's absence, Ryan didn't struggle in that department one bit.
He led the Ducks in the preseason with four goals and eight points after finishing last season as a Calder Trophy candidate with 31 goals and 57 points in 64 games.
Ryan is expected to play on the team's first line with Getzlaf and Corey Perry.
But he says he's not about to feel complacent.
"Randy certainly keeps me on my toes," said Ryan, referring to Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle.
"I'm not getting ahead of myself."

I think we can safely say, that all of us are happy to see Ryan Getzlaf return in time for the regular season.
