PTF Home -> Laser (lasik) Eye Surgery
Me too. Gusto ko din sana nito but too scared to try.
Alam ko si tangerine nagpa-laser na eh.
Let's see if she will see this thread and recount her experience to us.
Anyway, scared pa rin talaga ako kahit na ayoko na rin mag-glasses.
Meron kasi akong nabasa dati na mga experience nung mga nagpa-laser tapos parang after several days, either bumalik sa dati or nag-worsen yung condition.
Well, siguro naman nag-improve na lalo yung technology so baka wala naman ng ganun na experience.
But it's still scary to me.
I'd rather not take chances.
Ayokong mawalan lalo ng vision.
:D Hindi naman ako nananakot ha.

Gagawa rin sana ako ng thread na ganito, naunahan na pala ako
kasi this month may plano sana akong mag-pa-laser din, kasi covered naman ng insurance namin eh...
Kaya lang di pa pala pwede kasi last year lang binago yung eyeglasses ko, wala pa ngang six months eh...
tsaka, kakatakot pala yung procedure baka magkamali pa yung doktor mabulag pa ko

Does anyone have any suggestions on lasik eye surgery?
I have been doing a lot of research on lasik information over the past few months to determine whether I should have surgery done.
I am still trying to find a eye doctor in my area as well.
How safe is the surgery?

My son had a "PRK" procedure done, it was explained to him that PRK was a more permanent type of correction than the simple LASIK type procedure.
He was far sighted with some astigmatism..(SP?) he had blurry vision and some discomfort for a couple days but over two weeks as his eyes healed his vision cleared.
He now has 20/20 left eye and 20/10 right eye..better than perfect vision.
Think he told me it was approx $2100 total, but he had the "Enhanced" treatment..not sure what that meant..but it cost a little more...he just said it was well worth it to him...he is 21 years old right now.
Your age has an impact oh which type of procedure they will do I think.

I wanna get Laser..it's just too freakin' pricey I'm still waitin for medical insurance to cover 'em I wonder when..
Anyways... currently have -2.50 eye prescriptions on both..
The last time I was told w/c was few yrs ago..
My eyesight then was like 20/50..
I dunno now.. I want a perfect vision..
