JP for Governor of MD. - Baltimore Sun talk forum

Greetings. I just want to introduce myself as being the next Governor of the State of Maryland. Campaign website is HERE or www.VoteJP.Webs.com . The registration with the State Board of Elections was done on Tuesday. My name is James P.

Cusick Sr., but I will be listed on the Democratic Party election ballot as just " J.P.

Cusick ", as I see that having a better ring to it. Democrats rock!

Is this serious?

Interesting, are you a standard MD liberal? After the primary Ill look at your site. Have fun beating the MOMster he has 4 years of vote buying on you.

No, Democrats do not "rock." They suck.

Is that J only P only ?

James, I think using a FREE WEB SITE may be a violation of Election Campaign Finance laws. The host is providing you an unreported contribution. You can buy a very simple web site and domain name for less than $100.00 a year.

I typically don't give advice to someone I won't or can't vote for.

Is this the same deadbeat SMIB who was ridiculed in '08 before he washed out in the primary?

Another well thought out post...from a Ph.D.

No less.

Shouldn't you be preparing for you next marathon?

LoL. Dinner's over early.

I just spit up my coffee .... Good luck with this ..

The Finance law lets my campaign spend up to 2,000 bucks without even reporting it, so small change means nothing to the Board of Elections. And a free website is equally available to any other candidate so there is no unfair advantage, much like posting here on this Baltimore Forum is free and available to any candidate if they had the guts to post on. And I do know all about buying a website but the free one is fine for my purposes.

The only reason to buy a website is to install a receipt for credit card contributions and I see that as petty and dishonorable. Most political websites ask for contribution as the opening page. So I do sincerely declare that my free website is very much in compliance with the campaign laws, BUT, but I would be very happy if you would report it to the Board of Elections just to stir up the stuff.

Good luck moving the typical sheep from O'Malley.

Most of the intelligent people are jumping ship already and good luck convincing them to vote for you. Honestly I think the odd's of a dem winning the next election are slim to none given how bad the current schmuck has screwed things up.

The repub's could put a carboard cutout up against him and win.

It's him all right. He has a few stories to tell. This will be entertaining!

If taxes are raised it will be the demise of any Democratic candidate, it will be the icing on the cake that will seal the fate of the Republican candiate who I feel will be Ehrlich. I see things from both perspectives.

As a state employee and as a taxpayer ...

It is a double whammy for me but I'll share the pain ...

No complaints about that at all from me.

Key word here is SHARE.

That has not occurred yet.

The fat has not been cut.

Services will be cut to the point where taxpayers are going to want a tax increase.

When the next set of cuts comes down, it will hurt us all, not only state workers.

Services will be cut and crucial services like public correction and health department.

The health department is about at bare bones right now and dealing with a major threat with swine flu and for anyone who thinks it is not a threat do a little research on how many died from this flu just last week all over the US. Anyone whose anyone can go to Comptroller Franchot's website and see just what our tax dollars are being spent on.

Why do they need to spend millions on travel?

Why are they spending 5 million on honorariums during a budget crisis?

These are fat items.

These items are not necessary.

Having the staff to handle a possible pandemic in our state facilities IS NECESSARY. The picture in Maryland is very bleak.

There is already a 2 billion dollar deficit coming our way in 2011.

That would be 7/1/10.

Who in their right mind would want to take that on.

And you can mark these words, if Gov O'Malley is not re-elected, whoever takes over, will be starting office with a deficit.

No less. Queenie claims to have a PhD?

Oh, boy... I just checked out the website.

JP doesn't stand a chance. Then again, anyone is better than O'Malley, at this point.

Recommendation: You should expand your platform to include more than 1 issue.

If you do decide to run on 1 issue alone, it should be something that more people care about.

I don't see a lot of people rallying around the banner of child support reform.

Will you have time to run in between court cases?

Oct 10th...we're doing the Balto half-marathon...come on out! Quote: : Queenie claims to have a PhD?

He sure does. Could be from Ropewalk U.
