News Coverage/Politics - NBC
What do people need to do to get on the Today Show/Nightly News or the late night shows...
It seems like almost all of the news stories are either celebrities, politics, or about big cities..
Does anyone know how o get on a segment of the Today Show or Nightly News...
I would like for the staffs of those shows to get in touch!!
Thanks.

It is your job to maintain your journalistic integrity and report the news regardless of your political leanings.
It should come as no surprise to you that NBC and the rest of the MSNBC, CBS or ABC is becoming irrelevant and you are losing viewers to because you cannot be trusted to report the news.
You have completely lost the trust of the viewing public and have lost all credibility, Please start reporting ALL news regardless of your affiliation or opinion.
Thank You.

Is there anything specific that the news producers look for...
It seems like alot of the smaller towns are never featured..
Are there certain ways to spark interest?

I couldn't agree more.
In an aside to this statement, I would like to point something out to NBC sports.
In an age of endless 24 hr news cycles, pundits, talking heads and wind bags frankly, does Keith Olberman really need to appear on Football Night In America.
Sports is something that all people enjoy watching.
Keith is a polarizing figure in the landscape of television.
When one choses this path, should one be rewarded with also appearing on sports programming?
Of all the people that could provide commentary on sports, primarily football, why Keith Olberman?
NBC, which I still watch, continues to prove that they are attempting to be the anti-Fox.
Frankly they are succeeding, ie their lineup on MSNBC from 5-10 p.m.
Nightly, and with the addition of Olberman on sports programming.
I will only watch Football Night In America during the game itself, because frankly I don't even want to hear Olberman's voice.
If I'm ever inclined to be sickened by liberal hyperbole, I will tune in to MSNBC nightly.
Please NBC, leave sports alone, let it be a place of escapism, and nothing else.
