Fertility Forum - Planning Pregnancy And Being Sick
My husband and I are trying for another baby, hopeful for a boy this time.
My last menstrual period started on August 23rd and my most fertile day was on September 5th and ovalation started September 6th according the the calendar at babyhopes.com.
By acquicedance, my husband and I decided the day we both did not know I was most fertile until I was curious and found this calendar online for planning.
We've had intercourse on the 5th, 6th, 7th & 11th, which my ovulation stoped on the 12th anyway.
So I wanted to find out because I have this thick yellowish discharge on this 14th day, does this mean I am not pregnant and could the calendar be wrong and maybe I am still fertile?
Is this still normal?
And my last question is: I just got over a stomach flu that only lasted for a day on September 12th (husband and daughter got over it and then I got it)...will being sick prevent me from getting pregnant this early to even know?

ive been trying for my second child for a six months and ive taken my temperature, used ovulation prediction tests and calculated the times im most likely to ovulate and get pregnant too but no luck yet.
Ive read that women dont always ovulate spot on the FOURTEENTH OR SIXTEENTH day before her period and i try not to plan to have sex on those days exclusively.
I wish i could get my husband to have sex from day 12 to day 20 but its hard to get him to do it twice!
I love him AND he loves me too and our little girl but i wish i could get paul mackenna to convince him hes a porn actor!
Theres a possibility thet you have ovulated, your partners sperm did fertilize your egg but unfortunately there was something wrong with the sperm or egg so they didnt implant into the uterus and you had your period.
I think this every week before my period because i feel sick and always think AM I going to be pregnant THIS TIME.

Well, I wanted to correct the last helpful reply that the chart actually stated I was VERY Fertile on September 5th and Ovulation started on September 6th and ended on September 12th.
As I indeed understand the aspect of a women's egg only surviving for 24-48 hours, ejaculation only lives for five days inside you.
I still am determined to find out if I am pregnant or not.
I think the chart was completely generic about stating that I may be able to take a home pregnancy test on this day September 16th...I took it and got a negative result.
So now I am just waiting to miss my period on September 23rd, while I still feel the cramping symptoms I usually get right before I start my period.
Is this still normal to have until "if" I do miss my period with the result of being pregnant?
I usually get my period symptoms one week before my period.
Remember, the first day of my period was on August 23rd and usually last up to 5-days cycle.
So I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a dud one.
My husband is going overseas with the military for six months tomorrow, so it will be a while before we can try this again.
Urgh! Guess I'll leave it in G_d's hands!
