My son was born in Honolulu a year before Obama.

My son has a Birth Certificate with a raised State seal. Obama does not have a Birth Certificate, just a Certificate of Birth.

Something fishy here.

That all sounds well and good when you read about it on the internet, but let's just look at the process.

Here is how you order birth certificates in Hawaii: http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/vital-records/vital_records.html It doesn't talk about long forms and short forms.

I would imagine that a long form may be a single record that his mother had and got lost/misplaced when she died.

I'm Obama's age and I sort of remember my mom having some type of birth certificate that she probably gave to me at some point in my life.

But when I needed to get a passport, it was easier for me to just order a new one.

Maybe I'm an idiot for thinking that he followed procedures, but maybe he just ordered a birth certificate and figured "hey, here it is".

What even suggests that it is a forgery or illegitimate?

The state keeps the long form of the birth certificate in and it is possible to get one by writing to the state and providing the correct documentation or in person with the correct documentation.

Typically, no one needs the long form because the short form is sufficient for getting a passport.

Obama knows all this.

He didn't dispute any of the alleged facts of the lawsuit or that he could not get the long form - actually, all he had to do was sign the appropriate document and those who were suing would have gotten a copy from Hawaii - instead he made the choice to dispute the "standing" of the case.

He said that those suing had no standing to request this information or file the lawsuit.

Anyone else would have went out, ordered the long form, shown it to the media, the judge in the case and the lawyers.

That would have been the end of it.

Instead, Obama will spend several million dollars to fight the case.

As far as I am concerned anyone wanting to verify that another person is qualified to serve as President under the requirements of the U.S.

Constitution has a direct interest in determining the qualifications of anyone who runs for the office. It appears that any clear thinging judge should immediately recognize this simple fact. Where do these idiots come from who sit in positions of justice? Regards

The birth certificate case came up for review in the fall, right in the middle of the campaign.

They are grasping at hairs, trying ANYTHING to reverse their losses.

There is a birth announcement in the classified section of the Honolulu newspaper.

His mother is American, he was raised by American grandparents.

Trying to turn him into a foreigner after his resounding triumph in the election is the worst form of political chicanery, trumping up a far-fetched technicality to try to reverse the sweep of history. Maybe they don't like the way this election has finally moved the country on from the dregs of the Civil War?

Or maybe they are just sore losers.

Maybe it doesn't matter to them what disasters they promulgate, so long as they can take down the other side.

I've had a crawful of that attitude for the last eight years.

A geneological researcher has emailed me with two racey pictures of Obama’s mother.

That would be of trivial interest except for the setting in which the pictures were taken.

They were clearly taken in a sophisticated mid-century apartment and my correspondent suggests that the apartment details could be used to identify the photographer.

He feels that the photographer is the Communist “Frank” whom Obama mentions as his mentor.

That Frank was so intimate with Obama’s mother would support the contention that Frank was in fact Obama’s father.

Various bloggers have pointed out how similar Obama looks to “Frank” and the coverup of Obama’s birth certificate is certainly very suspicious.

The same justices who stopped a vote count and installed George W.

Do you think they'd all just fade away? They'd be actively working against him for his whole term, and they are indeed very powerful people. I'm hoping that Geithner, Summers, et al.

Will somehow morph like Hillary did.
