PakPassion - Pakistan Cricket Forum - Imran Khan diet and fitness plan?

Imran Khan was a skinny chap but later buffed up and remained in peak physical condition from his 20s until he retired in 1992. So just out of curiosity, does anyone know what his diet would likely to have consist of and what was his likely fitness and weight training regime? Many thanks, Amo

Don't know about diet but he worked extremely hard, mainly he ran/sprinted/jogged a lot according to accounts from players of that era.

There will never be another Imran Khan.

No point trying to follow him.

A main course of valiati with a side of desi (sometimes) He was natually lithe and fit even though I am sure he worked out a lot but look at him now..

He is still looking lean and mean.

I think its in his genes.

Work hard brother and push yourself

It depends genetically and ofcourse you can work hard and get some effect

I had a dream that Atul Sharma did some time travel and trained Imran Khan.

25 press ups using the weight from the formula "mera weight"/3 59 pushups 1.6 miles running 3.3 miles jogging kabaddi and hopscoth as team excersise on alternate days

For a fast bowler best exercise is running as much as he can he use to make 8 to 10 rounds of the ground after net

In so far as Imran's diet is concerned...in one of his interviews in the last year he did say that he prefer to drink milk instead of beer as told by his seniors that it will help his bowling...
