How long do you let your fingernails grow? - Neowin Forums
I don't like long fingernails on women, they make me cringe for some reason.
The sound of them scratching fabric makes me want to scratch my eyes out.
However they must have some sort of appeal otherwise manicures wouldn't exist!
I think long fingernails on men looks ridiculous.
Not only must it be uncomfortable as hell, it just looks wrong.
So, how often do you clip your hoofs?

I bite my nails too much so they never grow past the end of my finger lol.

I have a bad habit of biting my nails, so I just clip em short to stop myself from doing it.

Every couple of days, clip mine as short as possible but not to the point where it hurts.
I work as software developer and there is nothing worse then having long nails while coding.
Never saw the appeal of long finger nails on girls, I guess its just another one of those: 'We don't do it for you, we do it for ourselves" things.

I'm one lazy son of a gun, but I rather have short than long nails.
Long nails will only get dirty and perhaps have germs, so in all, clip to keep them short.

I clip my nails whenever they're noticeably long.
Fortunately for me, that's once every week or two.
I'm kinda glad my nails grow slow.

I try to keep my nails short but Im damn lazy to clip 'em.

I don't like them really short nor do I like them more than a few milimetres past the end of my finger.
When I've grown my nails to that perfect length and filed them I feel that my hands look tidier and more feminine, it's like a finishing touch.
As for really long and/or fakes ..
I really can't see the appeal there unless you are dressing up for Halloween.

I clip mine about once a week, they're about 3mm at that point.
I typically know it's time when my nails start hitting the keys on the keyboard.
