Re: What are the Politics lectures like at UEA (no holding back!)?
I assume you mean the ones for your first year?
I do History & Politics, but i'll give you an insight on the modules I did.
Intro.
To Social & Political Theory:
Dull, not really the lecturers fault.
Some of the topics just aren't very captivating.
They do give out lecture notes so that's always good.
Intro.
To Contemporary Politics:
This is pretty interesting, and Mr.
Gough is a legend.
The only shame is that I covered the topics in my other 2 modules so I was hearing the same thing three times....
Intro.
To International Relations:
My favourite yet, the main lecturer is just fantastic.
Witty, funny and informative.

Re: What are the Politics lectures like at UEA (no holding back!)?
I do modern history but I did do Intro to social and political theory, mind you it was back in 2005, so bit out of date.
The lectures were hit and miss-some were very good and some were very poor.
I didn't feel as if the lectures were as good as mine in the school of history and it was for that reason i decided to do no more politics units as i found it so hit and miss.

John Street is amazing.
Really funny guy who obviously has passion for his subject.
Also incredibly sexy;
Earned himself the nickname "The Silver Fox".
