I actually found it great, I think the only thing i did stupidly wrong was not crossing the wrong ones on the question where you had to tick correct and cross the false, and a couple of other things like maybe not getting full marks on 4 mark questions...and the graphs...
Defo a B tho? I dont know, i hate being optimistic ha

im not too sure about my grade, the grade boundarys in janurary were quite low so i hope these were low too!!!!
any idea what they mite be?
jan 09 was 65% for an A, surly they cant raise it much!

Struggled with the first question about prokaryotic cells.
I'd never heard of most of the features they listed.
What on earth do you draw in a cell nucleus?
I drew a circle with gaps in it, labelling it a nuclear pore.
Then drew a big squiggle inside labelling it DNA.
Someone I doubt I'll get 4 marks for that.
Wasn't the graph question graph A?
It was the one with the bars of different heights anyway...I hope.
It showed continuous variation, but I stupidly wrote "continuous data" and some waffle about the heights of any population looking like that.

and for the graph question i put A and said that no matter if they are the same species in the same conditions there will always be genetic diversity within a species.

I wrote C cos the question said 'which grade would show the height and give an explanation' .graph A did this but graph C could offer an explanation.
Dunno if it's right though?

Meh.
This Unit 1 that we had sucked!
I thought it was way harder than Unit 1 from January '09.
So, let's hope the grade boundaries are low.
I'd love for a nice solid B in Unit 1 and a high A in Unit 2.
Unit 2 was nicee <3
What was the madness about 2000 m altitude.
And did anyone here take Unit 1?
I left out the planning question for 5 marks (with Vitamin C), the explaining which are homozygous (for 4 marks) and various other 2 markers and 1 markers.
