I had my first (AS) Politics class yesterday.
Last year while I was doing my GCSEs I did an AS in citizenship which was 1/3 Politics and I really enjoyed it and has kinda given me a head start.
But yesterday the teacher gave us a mini quiz and I hardly knew any of the answers ^^
What have I got myself into....

I'm starting Edexcel AS Government & Politics .
. . really enjoying it though.
There are only 4 people in our class, which makes a difference - it allows for debates and stuff with everyone getting a chance to stay stuff.
We're going on a trip to Parliament on Friday week :D

I'll help. Got 298/300 in the end after a mental fortnight of revision or so!
PM for any help.
A bit of advice is to just stick with it at first, you will go through a lot of boring crap, some of it you may even already know.
But it is so worth it when you can write an essay on Constitutional Reform, for example, and be able to bring in stuff from the rest of the syllabus.
Makes you feel well smart!

Also can any of you recommend any literature that would fit in well with the course, im taking a real interest in politics and would like to know some good books to read.

Okay I need your help guys!
My homework for this week is to create an artical thing for "How to get the MP to listen to me?"
So far I have got: Striking, raising awareness..
Aaah any help would be grately appreciated, especially from the A2ers :D
