Even though my specs are a minimum, I don't have a slowdown problem.

Completely freezes up my machine upon startup.
I don't care to undo this and uninstall that, I paid for this program and expect PC tools to supply the remedy, as I'm sure the competent people of this excellent program will.
I don't think it's a compatability problem as this problem just started when I upgraded to the new version.
But the moment I click on IE everything just plain stops...
have pentium 4 (3 gighz proc, 2 gig of ram) McAfee Security and Spysweeper.

No Problems on my PC, really like it.

Running PCTIS as only security, but SD is perhaps the major part of it.
Not to deny that there is a certain 'delay' in the most.
Total freeze and stops?
Has happened a few times but not an everyday phenomena.
How many GIG's of ram and how big 'Duo -Qaudruplo' processor needed to run without slow down I don't think anyone knows.
However adding other security apps covering same 'anti's' ,enable kernel mode etc, slows down, the question might be how much compared to other apps with same security level.

I had spyware I needed to get rid of and SD did the job very well which is why I purchased it.
But, I have found this programme to be a pain in the ****.
Two hours to start up and in the interim you have no protection.
As of today I got rid of it and replaced it with a free one to slow

Like Madar601 SD completely freezes up my machine.
And no response fron the support !!!
