Likeable Celebrities - Celebrities that you actually like - Aussie Stock Forums
Seeing as the 'Celebrities you dislike' thread is getting a decent work out it made me wonder if there are celebrities you actually like .
It will be interesting to see which thread gets more entries - I'm betting the dislike one will.
I'll start.
Can only think of some sports stars atm , will try to come up with some more later.
Pat Rafter, Hazem El Masri, Robert Harvey,

Soccer (or football, as i prefer to call it) is the greatest sport in the world
Besides making money trading nothing makes me happier than watching a soccer match

AFL is easily the best sport in the world to watch , but let's not get into that debate here .

Hugh Jackman - seems like a down to earth bloke
Eric Bana - same as above
Gary Ablett Jr.
- seems to have a good head on his shoulders, awesome player
Sam Newman - I just find his mannerisms amusing, regardless of his past actions and whether some find him obnoxious
Arnold Schwarzenegger - no explanation necessary
Christopher Walken
Ross Noble
John Travolta
Delta Goodrem - as already mentioned
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.

Angelina Jolie,
Well read, articulate, athletic, interested in conservation, philosopher, excellent public speaker, good conversationalist, social conscience, modest without being shy, talented, quick witted.
Need I say more?

I find the entire thread quite odd in fact a little weird...
I don't know them so how can I like (or dislike them for that matter) but if I was forced to pick someone alive, the only person that come to mind is Nelson Mandella, to have such forgiveness is something to which I can only aspire and is truly humbling, him and perhaps that Armish family in the USA from a couple years ago that forgave the guy that shot and killed their daughter
and possibly Bill Gates and Warren Buffet for proving you can be filthy rich and incredibly altruistic.

Newsreader Sharyn Ghidella is by far and away the spunkiest piece of flesh ever to hit our TV screens...
So underrated...

I agree on all your above points, Trevor.
I guess it's understood that we don't know these celebrities well enough to know whether we would really like or dislike them, but some people do just intrinsically appeal or the reverse.
I like Kerry O'Brien's rather wry sense of irony and humour.
Barrie Cassidy
Ali Moore - beautiful plus smart
Annabelle Crabb, political journalist - ditto comments re Ali Moore
Madonna : She continues to be attractive and sexy even at over 50.
All the members of the Chasers.
(Saw a promo saying they are coming back soon.)
