Zodiac Ads In Uk Newspapers - Emuholic & Emuboards - All the latest homebrew and hacking news

Opened a copy of the independent today to find a PC world large advert for the zodiac.
'UK exclusive, you want it, we've got it!' was the main line.
Had a picture of a zod, specs, 329.99 availible from all PC world stores.
Maybe they are starting to pick up pace with the UK launch?

I got the new Stuff Magazine (UK Gadget Magazine) through the door today.
First page was a full page review of the Zodiac and they love it.
They also had a 'Top 10 gadgets of the year) feature and the Zodiac is at number 3.
And if thats not enough there is also a 'Stuff Christmas best buys 2004' supplement and again on the front page is a full page spread about the Zodiac.
After reading this I gave in and got myself down to PC World and bought one.
Been considering it for a while but waying up the options e.g.
Zodiac, Pocket PC, Gizmondo.
But after reading the review and seeing one in the flesh there is no competition.

Sounds good.
I hope holland is next, although Dixons NL told me they will not sell the zodiac.

Yes, Tapwave is definately picking up with the UK launch.
My local PC World recently put the other of the 2 z2's they had on display and now have the full range of Zodiac accessories.
I have purchased Spyhunter and a deluxe leather case recently.
I also have an advertising 'leaflet' obtained from my local PC World.
It is a small peace of card the same size as the zodiac with the zodiac on it.
Open it up and it has spec.
Etc. I will publish it on Zodiac Pl@y soon.
Also, there was a feature review in T3 Magazine with a whole A4 page taken up with a picture of the Zodiac.
So, yes, Tapwave are working hard!

I alsogothat business card-like thing with the zodiac i recieved two days ago that i won from the contest!
Its pretty cool and would be nice handouts if they had them at the stores where they sell the zod.(near the magazines i would suppose).

Well, they have quite a big workup about it at my local PC World.
I am the one responsible for all the hype their, kind of.
I intoduced the Zodiac to the local stock in/out personell and he brought in a load of stuff for me.
Now it's all on display and everything.

I did the same thing when they didint have the zodiac out on the floor i would call and they finally put it out and got some accessories.

theres the card me and Ashley were talking about.
Sorry for the not so good quality my scanner isnt the best...
I also printed out a front and back and it would be pretty cool if we could bring them to a store to hand out.
Not sure if were allowed to though....
