Have you done your shopping for mother's day yet?
Well I am a last minute shopper unfortunately I share some frugal mother's day gift idea's over on my blog today here are a few of them:
* Mom Mix-Make a CD for her, a collection of all the songs that remind her of you and you growing up
* Write a Letter-Write a a letter instead of a card, write about all the good memories you have with her and all the things she has done for you.
* Coupons-When I was younger my brother and I made a coupon booklet for my mother it included things like Wash dishes for the day, Vacuum for the week etc just chores around the house.
You have to be prepared to honor the coupons at anytime otherwise it wont work.

Buy and plant a rose bush or other flowering plant for her, roses for a lifetime instead of 1 week Costs less too
Since i've been doing a lot of gardening, I often share plant seedlings as gifts.
Cost is VERY little and I believe it is a good gift.

I've never done the plant thing as a Mother's Day gift , I think its time to do it now,,,seems like a sweet present

I bought a 9 pack of annuals and used a sitting-empty-in-the-garage hanging planter to give a hanging basket for $5 instead of the $30 hanging basket price tag.
I made my grandma her favorite pie.
