Its 427ci 15:1 compression Solid Roller cam the new engine amde 1000HP on engine dyno N/A Its a sick car with mean ass engine.

Oh I think the same car just ran 8.6 at LSX Shootout.

The car ran 8.58 @ 157 weighing in at 3500 lbs this weekend at the LSX Shootout.

Ive always been a fan of that HUGGER SAM car.

AND it\'s a manual transmission to boot.

I thought that motor was a 433.

:confused: anyway, its badass.

IIRC they spun it to something like 9600 on the dyno.

The previous engine was a C5R aluminum block 427 ci, making 930hp.

The 8.75 at 153 pass was with the C5R and jerico 4 speed at 3200 lbs. The current setup is an LSX iron block 433ci making 1001.

This past weekend it went 8.58 at 157 with the LSX 433 and liberty 5 speed at 3500 lbs raceweight. Hope that clears up the confusion.
