Do you talk out loud when lucid??? - Dreamviews lucid dreaming forums
I had two back to back good sized lucids last night.
I was surprised when talking to my wife in the morning.
She didnt sleep well last night.
She laughed at me this morning and said "you had a busy night with your lucid dreaming, didnt you".
She then repeated a whole bunch of things I apparently said out loud that I said during my dreams.
It was weird because they were exactly what I said to some DC's during my Lucids.
Sadly it seems SP doesnt extend to the mouth....
Im now a bit worried as I often take the oppotunity to nail hot DC's
My wife has said on several occasions "I hope you are only dreaming about me...."
Anyone else suffer from a big traitorous mouth when lucid?

Hahaha, what a frightening notion having a window for others to peer inside your fantasies.
And as far as a significant other being jealous/controlling of WHO you nail in your dreams makes me want to explode.
Simply explain to her the difference between making love and enjoying it with her in the real world, and being forced to beat into submission, a horrible, 8 foot tall 95 vagina'd Slarnath from the world of lustful misery with your 14 foot, eight-pronged giga penis....

Yeah I dunno. One time I was having a lucid and when I called out a name, I felt my mouth move.
Maybe I have the same problem.
Dunno. It could of been my imagination.

Sometimes I don't say anything at all just in case!
In my last LD, I even turned down sex because I was afraid of...
"sleep-thrusting."
Does that ever occur??

Once in a normal dream i woke myself uup beacause i was having an intense argument and one morning i had a ld and i was talking to dcs i woke myself up again and heard myself talking outloud :/ i think i got the same problem lol

*Mario92 starts to sweat a little.* Yeah, totally worried I'll be in the middle of lucid sex, when I suddenly shout out something I shouldn't be saying, and it'll wake everyone up.

Certainly doesn't effect me.
Basically everyone but my dad and I are light sleepers.
You couldn't sneeze without waking the house up.

I beleive that it depends on your stage in sleep whether or whether not your mouth moves and your vocal cords speak.
If you wake up immediately after yelling in your dream, you probably woke of the noise of you ACTUALLY yelling...
Just a thought...

But in all seriousness, I don't know if I have ever actually ended up speaking from my real body, i.e.
"SUN COME OUT!!!" and "LIGHT UP" etc...
But I have moved my real body while in a LD, so I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to use my mouth.

I don't think I talk out loud while dreaming, because in some older lucid I tried to increase vividness and lucidity by basically screaming my lungs out and I think someone would notice that

The other day, I was trying to wake myself from a lucid dream-turned nightmare.
My girlfriend shook me awake.
Apparently, I was screaming in my sleep.
She said it was like a terrible sounding, strained, closed mouth scream.

I do but I am now starting to just talk telepathy, in my dreams because I am afraid someone in my house might hear me.
Think about it if you're telling a DC to have sex with you or something graphic, and your girl friend is in bed with you...

A few months ago I had an LD where I was sitting in a room talking to a friend.
After the TV had changed from a flat screen to a small portable then to an old set from the fifties I realised I was dreaming and said to my friend
" Hey Ian, this is a lucid dream and you are in it!" Ian gave me a dirty look and got up and walked out with me calling after him.
Then I heard my wife calling to me from outside the room.
She thought I was having a nightmare and was trying to wake me up so I shouted to her "no, its ok I'm having a lucid dream".
Then she began shaking me with the result that in the dream some unseen force grabbed me and dragged me backwards through the window back to wakefulness.

Lol, I can just see myself screaming out "DIE YOU ZOMBIE BASTARDS!" and having it penetrate the entire household.
My parents are above me, and my sister is next door to me.
Yeah, that would go over just swell.
