I would use a generic round up with some Ammonium sulfate added to give it some kick but I would wait at least 2 weeks after you mowed (let it come back out) and after we get some rain.(stress relief) It will take better. I put out 1500 lbs of Milorganite today on my Eagle seeds soybeans, the deer are eating them slam up.

I had 21 deer in my patch last night nearly all night, (night watchman).

I cleaned my sprayer out today and went to tractor supply for some new spray tips.

I am spraying roundup on my soybeans early tomorrow morning before the wind starts blowing. Good Luck and keep posting some pics. HG

Well i had andy with me today ,and we worked our buts off ,Worked on the tractor most of the day .I wont say waht happened loading the tractor on the trailer with the plow attached. The ground was so hard like a bullet .it wouldnt even take but the surface out.The plow wouldnt even dig to turn the soil.Have to wait till it rains ,then ill go plow in the rain if i have too. Thanks andy for your help today.

No Steve please do tell what happened and why you loaded the tractor with the plow attached.

Shouda been there it was kinda funny .Ill say we used a 4by 4 to move the tractor a bit .My little mitubushi tractor 40hp with plow attached lifted up on the front going on the trailer and the right front tire went off the side of the trailer from the plow being heavy ,and no weights on the front of the tractor. The front end lifted up going up the trailer and took a sharp right over the side of the rails of the trailer .Always load trailer with attachments attached .

Tractor in place and ready to go!!

As soon as it rains it will be on, loosen that ground.

Can't wait to see what it looks like after steve spends the day turnin that ground.

Man that soil was like concrete

A Buddy of mine alway used to say "Ain't Farmng Fun" when something like that happens.

You gotta be careful, it always seems that something like that will happen. HG

I counted 15 persimminion trees in the field today .

Had to break out the heavy equip to get the bigger trees out

Looking good so far.

Could use a couple of Protein Feeders to get them by till supper is ready though. What is that piece of equipment in front of the Grapple on the trailer? HG

10/4 on that i hope

I strated this am and got some done till the rains came full blast .Plowing mud .i stopped and came home . This is the bottom half.

I have 10 bags Sweetspot Southern blend & 4 bags Trophy Radishes ,gonna put in next weekend .After i plow the 12 ton of lime & 2000lbs 20-20-20.Hopefully it will enough .and the rain will do it good right now with the soft moist dirt , .Hope fully it will rain next week too likes it suppose to. Should be a lush food plot by november.

Lookin good, hopefully it will hold a few biggins fer ya

I had the lime & fertilizer put down 30 days ago.Have turn the dirt upside down per say.

Lookin good

Looks good my only suggestion would be next spring to find you a subsoiler and breakup the hard pan deep.

A single row would not be too much for your tractor I don't believe there sir.

Thanks This was a first time i plowed it up ,And clean up trees .It will be plowed real good ,even more then you see in the pics .Ill post pics when its done .There wont be nothing but brown dirt in it when im done .8 to 10'' deep is what the plow digs and turns the sod over .I do have a dave koeing 4 blade subsoiler for the big tractor.
