I can't believe there are people on here who worship Hellraiser 2 - Forums

I know Randy Orton/Violent Reaction is one them.

Honestly one of the most boring, and ill conceived movies I've ever seen.

I'm usually a sucker for bad horror, but this wasn't even so bad it's good, it was just so bad it's bad. Stop deluding yourself people.

The movie sucks.

The movie sucks. No.

You suck, your post sucks, and this thread sucks, but Hellbound: Hellraiser II does not.

Can you please tell me what is redeeming about the film?

Everything feels random in the film, the acting is awful, and Pinhead turns into a little baby at the end.

Also, 30 mins of the movie is from the first film, which reminded me of Mortal Kombat:Annihilation.

What's the point?

If you didn't like it, you didn't like it.

Nothing you've said above is true.

The movie isn't random, the acting isn't that bad, & Pinhead doesn't turn into a baby at the end. I like it because it's grotesque and bizarre.

I also like the story, the look of Hell, and the Cenobites.

Plus it has some great dialogue...

Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell!

It's the best of the series.

Oh, Kirsty. So eager to play, so reluctant to admit it.

This film is a very strong sequel regardless of how the worst poster on the board feels about it.

Since you don't even know what happens at the end: Select the black box below with your cursor to view the spoiler text Pinhead reverts back to a WWI soldier and the other cenobites revert back to their human forms.

The Chatterer was a teenage boy, the youngest of them. Then I have to assume you're too dumb to comprehend the film or you haven't watched it.

It's the only other good movie in the series, after the first. So quiet down and take your meds, junior.

It seemed rushed, but I still dig the hell out of it.

Hellraiser II is great.

Every bit as strong as the original. If you wish to check out a horrible sequel, watch any of he following: Hellraiser IV, V, VI, VII, or VIII

Hellraiser V wasnt that bad at all.

Actually, first, second, and fifth are pretty much the only good hellraisers.

4th is passable but only if you dig cenobites and gore.

And because Angelique cenobite is the sexiest demon in existence: hawt! the rest is pretty much garbage.

V was my "favourite" of the Direct-To-Video sequels, but still just a mediocre effort.

It was entertaining enough in its cheesy b-movie kind of way, but like many of the sequels, it's merely a psychological horror/thriller film featuring the Cenobites.

In V it just feels as those the Cenobites were tossed in to officially make it a Hellraiser film.

You could easily remove them and work around it without changing much of the film.

I love Hellraiser II .

Of course, I'm also a sucker for the horrible sequels too.

Hellraiser. Heh.

It's not a good movie, but the level of sheer crazy per frame is extremely high, and the violence is really disturbing.

Blood.

Hellrasier II was very good now you want to talk about a sequel that was bad all the way.

NOES 2 Freddys revenge was awful.

NOES 2 Freddys revenge was awful.

The second Nightmare on Elm St .

Gets wrongfully trashed.

It has much of the tension and terror of the first one, and the blatant homoeroticism is both odd and hilarious.

It's my second favorite Nightmare film. A lousy horror sequel is Blair Witch 2.

Not that the first was anything great, but the second was a joke.

Nothing in part 2 even remotely approaches the ambition and wild, gruesome inventiveness of Dream Warriors. That, and it's just a boring and dull movie- ridiculous Freddy pool party and all.

I used to think part 3 was the best of the sequels, until I watched it again recently.

It's absolutely dreadful.

I tend to disagree even today when i watch the first one i get goosbumps not so with the second one.

As apeslammer said it's dull it's also slowly paced and it feels out of place with all the other Noes films.

The homoeroticism in my opinion hurt the film it has no place in the freddy franchise.

I mean freddy was a child molester not a gay porno star.

Noe noes 3 is no doubt my fav.

Entry into the nightmare series it's inventive it's got a few scares and it's a dowright blast to watch it's also the last time freddy is really creepy until you get to new nightmare of course.

Well, Freddy's Revenge does have the advantage of not needing to hold up over the years...as it was never considered any good in the first place.

I will admit to not likeing the first one that much ethier it just didn't grab me or scare me in the slightest.

I felt like with the third one they were finally given a big budget so they decided to throw every cent into over-the-top kills, and sets that in my opinion, cheapen the film, and take away from any horror that it might have.

The Freddy snake was just ridiculous.

Not to mention, the third film is when Freddy becomes the ridiculous caricature that spouts out one liners, that I find extremely irritating. I won't say the second one is perfect, but like I said, it does seem to maintain a lot of the tension and tone of the first one, and Freddy is still, ya know, frightening.

It's just not as good. But I should also mention that I love all of the unpopular sequels to horror franchises like, Friday The 13th pt.

5, Halloween 3, and the straight to video, Hellraiser sequels.

Quote: : Blake Touche' To be fair, most of the effects in Dream Warriors haven't held up well at all.

The scene in the junkyard, in particular, is almost downright embarassing.

The freddy skeleton imo has never held up every time i see it i cringe.

It's as if it was the last effect they need to do and just ran out of money.

In a way I kind of applaud that effect, because it shows the ambition they had for the film, but I think they were a little too ambitious for what the effects and their budget would allow.

Ahh the one liners never seemd to bother me i know he becomes less scary at times but i love all the noes films with number 2 being at the bottem of the list if i had to rate them sitting there with dream child and freddys dead.

Ahh screw it ill rate them in order of favs. 1.

Noes 1 2.Noes 3 3.New nightmare 4.

Freddy Vs. Jason 5.Noes 4 6.Noes 5 7.Noes 6 8.Noes 2

The unfairly maligned Halloween 3 is leaps and bounds better than the inexplicably liked Halloween 2.
