The Skeptics Society Forum • View topic - Vatican: The Pill Causes Infertility

No {!#%@}, Sherlock! The Pill 'polluting the environment' THE contraceptive pill is polluting the environment and is in part responsible for male infertility, a report in the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano said today. The pill "has for some years had devastating effects on the environment by releasing tonnes of hormones into nature" through female urine, said Pedro Jose Maria Simon Castellvi, president of the International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations, in the report. "We have sufficient evidence to state that a non-negligible cause of male infertility in the West is the environmental pollution caused by the pill," he said, without elaborating further. "is in part responsible for male infertility" Yeah.

The part where the female gets pregnant... "releasing tonnes of hormones into nature through female urine" Pissing hormonal females are T3H 3V1L 1!!!11!eleventy-one! "he said, without elaborating further." He's right.

'Nuff said. I mean really, can they sink any lower?

I'm shocked!  Hasn't the Catholic Church always been at the forefront of the battle for women's rights?

It seems that the more unbelievable the claim or story, the more people believe it and the more fervently they believe.

To me, they just come off as being that sad dork that's always trying to be part of the "In Crowd", but has a pompadour when everyone else has mohawks, and a Mohawk when everyone else has perms, etc.

But never figured out the reason no-one likes them is because they have BO. Now they're trying to jump on the Green Bandwagon, and the Eww-Factor is just as strong. No doubt when they talk about hormones polluting the environment, they're obtusely referring to the part of the environment men have sex with to make baby Catholics...

Interesting.  I never thought of it that way, but I will now!

Computer possessed?

I asked the question before, but now I think I know the answer. The Pope is a Catholic, right?

The lack of a rational explanation is not evidence for an irrational explanation.

Does the Pope poop in a gold toilet???

Just as long as we laugh at all religions.

Depending on my mood, it either cracks me up or annoys the heck out of me when wooists make fun of other people's religions.

I like babies.  I love babies!

But I can't eat a whole one by myself.* *also stolen!
