The self proclaimed King of Pop was not anything special in my book.
A sick, sad individual who died years ago.
I don't know how they could even tell the difference.
He looked like a corpse for years.

Regardless of Mr.
Jacksons wrongdoings, he has an ENORMOUS fan base, very many of which will look past that, and look at his accomplishments.
Personally I did not follow his career but many many millions worldwide did, and yes, I agree it will be regarded by the media as an event of such magnitude as you suggest, even though myself, and many many others, I am certain, find it difficult to look past his "issues"
