Multi-Platform games are getting better on PS3 compared to Xbox360 - Rage3D Discussion Area

Http://pc.ign.com/dor/objects/142667...2h_032409.html but multi-platform games are still better on the PC. jokes aside, I thought PS3 demo ran quite well and looked quite decent.

Even though it was not better than the PC demo, it looks like it is better than xbox version. so I guess developers are learning how to program for PS3.

I'm glad I paid for all that potential power .

3x as powerful as the 360 dammit.

Seriously though, I enjoy my PS3, and I am glad that the multi-platform games are getting better.

I dont think just because one dev was able to make the game look better then the 360, means all future games will look better on the ps3.

From the low res vid I couldnt see a difference.

Maybe if IGN allowed watchers to download an uncompressed version of the clip then I would be able to see the difference.

The guy in this game move like the one in uncharted...

Well, the 360 version lighting sucks and is very dark and sometimes runs a bit slower compared to the PS3 version.

All quite noticeable in the vids unless you have your brightness jacked up.

I don't think they said anything about textures being any different so don't bother looking for that.

Another one of 'these' threads ...

Great

As time goes on and dev's understand the hardware more, I would assume ps3 games would start to match 360 quality - if not slightly surpass it. Not that I own either.

Just seems logical.

Could somebody tell the reviewer about the hidden TV feature called the brightness control lol Lucky I've got all this PS3 power as I've invested in Worms

If only they had picked a game that mattered for this

There was a brightness opton guess someone should tell them what thats for.

They were both in need of adjustment though the 360 needed to be higher and the ps3 lower as it looked washed out and lacking depth.

I dont remember was that the same place that did the Dead Space side by side and had the ps3 version so dark u couldnt see any thing?

Played all 3 PC obviously looks better than 360 and PS3.

The 360 and PS3 look pretty identical to me, which says alot because I avoid multi-platform titles on the PS3.

Actually they were quite good initially as well, but gametrailers messed up PS3 comparison when they didn't play with the settings for RGB Limited and SuperWhite. those two settings made a world of difference for me and the colors are very bright/vivid compared to initial GT comparison videos. it looks like Gametrailer got the PS3 settings correct after awhile and RE5 looks exactly same on both of the consoles.

I thought you bought a XBOX and left PC gaming for good? Quote: : Played all 3 PC obviously looks better than 360 and PS3.

If there is a multi-platform game, there is a 95% chance that I will get it for the PC. but I still like trying demos on the PS3.

People failed to mention in this thread that this game sucks ass...
