I was on and off Hydroxcut for years- especially back when ephedra was still in the mix... At my last physical, my doctor told me I had Gilbert's syndrome, which is basically a very small-scale liver issue...

I have a slightly higher level of enzymes outputted by my liver- it doesn't do anything, and it's not dangerous physically, but what if it was serving as a pre-cursor to something bigger/worse?

I always thought it had something to do with the pills, and threw them out as soon as I got home.

Good to see it was a smart decision

I started this- 1 mth ago and have seen results

Good to see it was a smart decision No doubt, I just saw it on the news, so wanted to make sure the NCC community was on notice....

1 person died, another needs a liver transplant so far bad news.

I think everyone has used something like this from time to time (i took EAC stack back in the day) you made the right decision.

I used to take hydroxycut 5 years ago when they had epherda in it..

Quote: : law suit I wish Nah, I just blame my own stupidity Vix, they definitely work, but you know what?

I've been off them for months and months now, and I've had no trouble maintaining/losing with just good old diet & exercise.

Throw 'em out, girl, for me

Shits terrible for you. get on a good program slackers...

.;-) a good diet and workout regimine will make you ripped..

Consistancy and sacrifice will make you ripped, not a pill.

Really is insane how they let these companies sell products w/o fda testing and approving them.

Do we really know what they are putting in it?

Doubt it, they can say its caffeine or any other ingredient but bc of no regulations they could put whatever they want in there.

Last thing anyone wants is liver failure

Yea me too. Once they banned Ephedra I stopped looking into fat burners because they all suck.

Last thing anyone wants is liver failure I could guess and say probably 75% of the bodybuilding and weight loss supplements out there are bad for you.

None, all the way down to multivitamins are FDA approved.

Yet people continue to pump there bodies with this shit.

Im not hardcore into bodybuilding or anything but I do like to lift or run atleast a couple days a week.

I dont take vitamins or any of that whey protien anymore because I dont trust whats in it.

I just eat as much protien as I can each day.
