Im being offered Desean Jackson + Roy Williams for Santana Moss + Maurice Jones-Drew. Take it? : fantasyfootball
Here is the trade offer with stats detail.
Here is my current lineup with stats detail.
I'm thinking if I accept the trade it gives me a starting line-up of 4 good receivers.
It would be:
Reggie Wayne Roy Williams DeSean Jackson Percy Harvin.
Then for my starting RB Ill just adjust week to week between Jackson, Taylor, Jones and Smith.
What do you guys think?

Williams and Moss are kind of a wash, so basically your getting Jackson for MJD.
Doesn't seem like the best deal.

I agree that they somewhat cancel each other out.
However I think where the deal puts me might be more important than the deal itself.
Again, since Ive got 4 other RBs to play with now I have 4 WRs start.

Makes sense, tough call though.
I think MJD is going to have some big games.
If you could get DeSean cheaper that would be cool.
Is depth at WR worth one of your opponents getting what was probably your top draft pic?

I wouldnt do it. True you have 4 rb's but none of your rb's are close to MJD in production.
Smith has a bum shoulder.
Julius Jones I think has had his big game of the year.
St Louis is Terrible so Jackson is going to be the focus of defenses.
And Taylor is just one of a group of guys in NE.
Jackson would replace some of that production, but receivers never equal a running back's production.
If you can get jackson with out giving up MJD, that would be the best thing.

MJD is a stud back you can play every week your other 4 RBs are not.
They won't match the production of MJD throughout the season even if you magically play the right guys every week.

No, MJD is worth too much for that.

You'll be left with JJones and Jackson as your starting rbs.
Taylor will fall off with lynch back, Smith hasnt done anything this year and may not.
Roy Williams can only improve, will he?
Desean is a baller though.
I say do it.

My first reaction was hell no.
But after looking at your roster, I'd take it.
You could use the extra WR more than the RB.
