The debate between performing Frank Zappa's music and licensing the music from Frank's widow : Music

I can see both sides of this, but I have to say that Frank's music must be made much more available if it's going to survive.

And I don't think Gail is in it just to make money, she has a lot of emotional involvement.

Maybe when she kicks the bucket, one of his kids can take over and do a better job allowing his music to be performed.

I saw Frank in 1984 in Seattle and have been a huge fan since, Dweezil's Zappa Plays Zappa band is amazing as well, I've seen them three times so far and will go to any show they play in Seattle.

The last one at the Triple Door was mind blowing.

Frank's music is the best.

It's hard to speculate on the intentions of celebrities, but I agree it's hard to imagine her only being "in it for the money." Still, it does seem she's hindering efforts to get his music played, which is a shame.

Gail ain't in it for the music!
