TV Forum: The Amazing Race - It's Like Being Dropped on Planet Mars (15.2...
The ten remaining teams leave Cai Be, Vietnam, behind and head on to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
There, Zev & Justin have problems with a breakable giraffe, and Lance unleashes his fury at a Roadblock.
And, of course, the third team is eliminated.

More fun with animals.
If I recall, the previous episode didn't have any Detours, so I hope we get one in this one.
I also hope tasks are less luck-based.

I voted for Marcy & Ron to be eliminated, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone not in the Bottom Five goes.
I hope this episode is better than the last and as Agent said, hopefully a Detour.

Well, this one was much better than last week's premiere.
The Detour seemed fairly lopsided, but didn't have to be if Word Play was done right.
Marcy & Ron started off strong in that one, but lost time when they couldn't figure out the word.
When Ron said he was just gonna take everything in around him rather than look for words for they spell, I knew they were probably toast.
Lance showed himself as a real ass tonight, and it's a miracle Keri puts up with him.
But they got married about a month ago, so I guess she's used to it.
Maria & Tiffany redeemed themselves a bit when they said they didn't want to hold Sam & Dan up.
That was nice of them.
Poor Tiffany had a tough time with Child's Play, though.
I'm surprised Mika & Canaan made it through.
They both seem to get flustered easily.
Good to see Brian & Ericka regain so much ground, but I'm still "meh" on them.
Congrats to Flight Time & Big Easy on their win.
First all-male black team to win a leg since .
. . wow. Since Shola & Doyin's Fast Forward victory in TAR2.
So that's thirteen seasons .
LOVE: Flight Time/Big Easy, Gary/Matt, Maria/Tiffany, Zev/Justin
LIKE: Meghan/Cheyne, Mika/Canaan
NEUTRAL: Brian/Ericka
DISLIKE: Lance/Keri
HATE: Sam/Dan

I thought Marcy & Ron made a game-changer when they chose the other side of the Detour.
But they wasted too much time-- if they had just realized that the smartest move was to ask a local, as was obviously intended, then they could maybe have just avoided by eliminated.
Lance & Keri: Currently in Last Place.
I'm looking forward to seeing this several times before they get eliminated.
I was worried that this would be one of those co-ed teams with a male hothead like Jonathan & Victoria or Colin & Christie that still somehow managed to go really far, but they just don't seem to have it together.
Still, Lance gave me some giggles, looking around all over the place for a clue that they already had.

I didn't realize, that's really something.
Anyways, fun episode.
Good tension, interesting tasks and some truly entertaining moments.

I was pleased with who won this evening.
I HATE lance and keri.
I hope that they get out soon because they are too annoying.
I like most of the rest of the players, although I am still not sold on the poker players.
I agree with Pin that they went a long way to redeeming themselves this evening by not keeping the other team back.
My favorite teams are Zev/Justin, Flight Time/Big Easy, and Pinkie/Brain.

This was a pretty good episode.
I really enjoyed the Detour but the Roadblock wasn't that exciting.
I was really sad when Marcy & Ron were eliminated, I was liking them a lot.
It was also very sad to hear about Big Easy's father passing away.

Big improvement over last weeks episodes.
The tasks were a lot better and the teams were clustered together for the most part, although havent particularly liked any of the detours or road blocks so far.
Good to see Flight Time and Big Easy when the leg, and I wasnt bothered that Marcy and Ron got eliminated.

So sad that Marcy and Ron were eliminated!
Apparently they chose the wrong task
Also, I LOVE the moment where Lance and Keri retrieved the small clue and couldn't find it afterward

Okay, this is looking to be one of the best seasons yet.
I say that it makes up for the dismal Season 13.
Now, on to the ep:
Some lol-worthy moments at the first dragon challenge - Mika and Canaan dancing, Lance not knowing where the clue is...
Detour - First of all, I would choose Child's Play in a heartbeat (what with me not being very observant).
Second, of all the animals Zev and Justin could pick, they pick the big, clunky giraffe?
Third, it was nice to see teams that are helpful to others in need.
Roadblock - Kinda boring to watch, really.
A bunch of people taking apart appliances?
Meh.
Sad to see Marcy and Ron go.

I loved this episode.
A lot of good ideas were in it.
I am fairly new to TAR, starting with season 14, so let me know if they have been used before.
-The moving Pit Stop was a great idea.
The teams not knowing where they were was really great, and led to some interesting predicaments.
-The clue being fairly obtuse was another great one.
It makes the teams think more about what they are doing and where they are going.
Much better than simply telling them to get to a special building.
Also hiding it in the bullet was another great idea.
This ep was filled with awesomeness.
Lance/Kerri thinking they were already in Ho Chi Minh and then not finding the clue in the bullet.
Mika/Cannan doing the dance for the dragon.
Maria/Tiffany having to go grab another dolly.
The footrace at the end for first.
So far my favorite team is Maria/Tiffany.
Not sure why they are so hated.
Their reasoning for lying about their job made perfect sense to me.
And it's not like it put the other teams at a disadvantage or anything.
I felt bad for Tiffany since she was pulling the animal.
I really hope they gain some ground, cuz they might lose any lead they earn in a physical task.
Sad to see Marcy/Ron go.
They totally had the easier task, but blew it by not asking the locals right off the bat.
It also seemed that Flight Time/Big Easy had a stellar cabbie.
They got to the detour way before anyone else, yet they grabbed their clue around everyone else
I am really getting tired of Lance and even Keri to a point.
I really hope he is next to go.
But with the disaster that the preview for the next ep said happens, it could be anyone.

I was hoping that the idiot Lance would be eliminated.
He and Keri do make a "special" couple.
I nearly died laughing when he couldn't figure where the clue was especially after his smug speech about being the cheetah or whatever.
He was more like a donkey..
Also nearly died laughing at next week's previews "someone breaks the cardinal rule and loses their passport".

Lance is just too funny.
He likes to say that he's playing like a man, yet he was totally oblivious to the clue inside the bullet and he and Keri were hanging in or near last most of the time.
Phil talked to them at the Pit Stop, which usually means that team makes it far.
Stop, TAR, you're killing me.
Word Play looked like the easier Detour to me, and it could have been for Marcy & Ron if they'd just thought to ask a local.
Oh well.
Someone loses their passport.
Oh gosh, AGAIN? To think this was unthought of for so long and now it's hopelessly too frequent.
Kind of like medevacs on Survivor.

@RalphWiggumFan: Yup, TAR13 was rather abysmal.
TAR14 was a breath of fresh air, though.
This season is shaping up to be somewhere in the middle.

I really like Flight Time and Big Easy....
A team hasn't made me laugh so much since the Hippies.
"Here Sheepy Sheepy" not sure why that cracked me up so much.
They have some good one liners in their clips.
