Everstar portable air conditioner - FixYa
I need a warranty for this air conditioner.
I purchased this at Home Depot on 9-5-07.
It was the display model.
The serial number 185723939061251049, and model # mpm-08cr-bb4.

This unit can be used without adding water correct?

I also purchased my unit in 2007.
My problem was that the continuous line flow was not working.
It was working for a while.
Now it stopped. I called the 866-64-MIDEA.
They recommended backwash the system with bleach.
AND NOW IT DOESN'T WORK!
It doesn't blow cold air at all!
I tried to call them, but no one picks up.
I left two messages, but no one will return my calls.
A paper in the box said "If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase and must return your air conditioner to the place of purchase, please be aware that your product, must be returned with original packaging, all included accessories & purchase receit.
- Of course, I can't find my receit and Home Depot has provided horrible customer service.
My recommendation - JUST BUY SOMETHING DIFFERENT AT LOWES!

I have lost my manual for my Everstar MPK-10 CR.
I thought is was heat and AC.
Does anyone know anything about the model I have?
Does anyone have a model specific manual?
I could use a little help please.

I have the same problem.
No user manual. Also having a problem adjusting the micro switch that senses the water bucket.
The links here are not for the correct model.

Can anyone help me out with the Everstar AC.
I have on and it works fine.
However, I bought it as a AC and Dehumid.
According to the directions, instead of constantly dumping the water drawer, I can hook the drain hose directly into a garden hose and this, in turn, to a small pump.
Thing is, once the box fills up, the "FULL" light comes on, and the drain hose never takes over.
What am I doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I would contact Home Depot first and see what they say.
The owners manual should give you further instruction it they don't help.
If you have lost it, Home Depot has record of your purchase.
You may also be able to get an owners manual from another unit there if needed.
Hope this has helped.
If you dont have a manual and Home Depot wont help, let me know and Ill do some work on it.
