Rpg: Kingdom Gaeabionta- Life On Earth - BZP Forums

Kingdom Gaeabionta ( L i f e O n E a r t h ) "Humans have always prided themselves as being the superior beings over most, or all, of the living organisms on Earth.

Being able to communicate, to create, to think, reason, logic…the list could be able to go and on.

But…what if one could harness the powers of the animals?

What if, the humans could attain the abilities of those that it didn’t have?

To be able to breathe naturally underwater, to fly in the air without the help of machines, to run with extreme speed over the earth…With DNA in our hands, what could possibly stop us?

We would have the powers of all animals.

Then, the Homo sapiens may truly rise to their right post: The Supreme Beings of Earth." -Dr.

Horace Maleina Backstory: (A summary is at the bottom of this if you don't want to read the backstory) Humans are humans. For more than 3000 years, that had been enough for us.

We had our technology, we had our communities, we have our communication.

But as always, we wanted more.

What would it be like, to soar over the mountains?

What would it be like, to stay under the water for indefinite amounts of time?

What would it be like, to attain the natural characteristics of the animals that we have shared this earth with for so long? In the 22rd Century, that had been the question that had plagued the Scientists, the top American government biological-knowledged men of the day.

To make humans one with the animal.

To combine a “superior” being with the enhancing characteristics of the “inferior” one. Experiments were thought up, test were made, theories were tested.

So many deaths of mutated humans, bodies twisted unnaturally into forms they were never meant to hold.

But did this stop the Scientists?

No. They used money to persuade the impoverished, or money-needing, people, who came, eager for the hefty sum. “Why would it matter?” They said, “It’s just an experiment.” How unfortunate for them that they were never told what kind of an experiment it was.

When less people volunteered for the “medical and psychological tests,” the Scientists turned to the abandoned orphans, the homeless, those that had nobody to tie them onto the society of the world.

A small city, dotted with a few beggars, or an orphanage, filled with the faces of emaciated, but happy, children, would turn up empty of orphans or beggars a week later.

Body after body, day after day, year after year. But what of the mutated survivors?

There just as may been some.

Nevertheless, anybody who wished to be tested on was never heard from again.

Even if there were some “people” that had escaped, the rest of the world had never seen them. It was just as well, as the rest of the world didn’t even know that the experiment was going on.

The killed people’s families were only notified that they had disappeared, and had never been found again.

And with the orphans and beggars, who cared? And so the experiments continued, and in the year 2178, there was a minor breakthrough. A certain Scientist named Jules Yupro claimed to have made a chemical in which the human, instead of just attaining the physical enhancements of the animal, it also attained some of the physical (and sometimes, mental) attributes of the animal as well. The first Animalia Sapien, as was the name dubbed on them at the time, was made from a homeless man named Vert.

Although not perfect, this chemical was still reasonably within the criteria of what the Scientists wished to attain. Vert was a mutated, or “enhanced”, as the Scientists liked to call it, human with the properties of a rat, as the Scientists wished to start off “small.” Vert’s appearance looked remarkably like a rat, with a mousy face, pink ears that protruded from his face, an elongated nose, with gray hair, and gray fuzz all around his body.

His hands looked more like a claw, he possessed extremely long facial hair, and he had a small, 2 foot long pink tail. But, what interested the scientists were Vert’s abilities.

Vert claimed to sustain incredibly acute hearing;

Justified when the Scientists, albeit a bit cruelly, placed an ultrasound near his ear.

Along with this advanced hearing, Vert also had a great sense of smell, being able to smell faint scents from more than 50 yards away.

However, Vert also possessed the poor eyesight of rats, as he became colorblind, and when tested, thought that a green card was actually red.

His behavior also became somewhat rat-like;

Vert seemed more energetic during the night, and seemed to unconsciously emit chirps when amused or distressed.

(However, this chirp could only be heard with special sound equipment.) Vert also seemed to contain hostile animalistic tendencies to which he knew contained a negative effect towards him. These discoveries spurred the Scientists to new speeds, as they now knew that there were ways to combine the DNA of an animal with the DNA of a human through a specially made chemical.

They now tried to edit the chemical by trying to make it so that the physical appearance, and the disadvantages, of the animal would not be present with the human.

Through the tests, more and more humans were transformed into the Animalia Sapiens, and the Scientists knew that, unless the number of humans could be contained, the experiment could not go on without the public noticing.

So, they were shipped off to an island in the Pacific, and were killed off systematically.

The natives, of course, were taken as more “testing items.” The Animalia Sapiens, though, still (mostly) possessed their precious human logic.

Banding together, they turned against the Scientists testing on the island Roetia.

The Scientists on the Continental USA didn’t ever get any reports back from the place.

Nor did they dare to travel over to see what had happened. Roetia was given up as loss. “Luckily,” the chemical was still present for the Scientists in the US, and they continued to test, although they killed each Animalia Sapien after its results had been taken. The chemical’s scientific discoveries were spread to other Scientists in Central America and Canada, and they too, tried to perfect the chemical.

Many more Animalia Sapien were made….and just as many Animalia Sapien were killed. Almost. People, the public, reported sights of huge birds carrying humanoid looking animals in the newspapers.

Biologists believed that there were some monkeys in the area, and that eagles were carrying them off.

But when investigations came about, no monkeys could be found.

The Scientists, however, knew better. The Roetian Animalia Sapiens were back, and were stealing the newly created Animalia Sapiens away. Timely, the Scientist Dr.

Horace Maleina nearly perfected the chemical. And added another discovery to it. His human experiment, Lor, was injected with the Chemical containing the DNA of a rose.

Lor, a woman, was stunningly beautiful, and also possessed the ability to make parts of her skin, on one body location at a time, to come up into sharp points.

The only sign of her enhancement was a thick crown of hair on her head, and slightly mud-tinted skin.

Another Scientist, using Maleina’s Chemical, came up with the first animal with the lowered animalistic appearance.

Dubbed Vor, this former homeless man was injected with the chemical containing the DNA of a platypus.

With slightly membranous hands and fat lips, Vor also was enhanced with the abilities to adapt to cold temperatures, an excellent ability to swim, and a slight ability to track people down using the electric fields that they produce. Hence, the Plantae Homo Sapiens and the Animalia Homo Sapiens were born. Thinking that now the time had come for the Chemical to be introduced into the world, the Chemical first made its appearance in North America, where the Scientists had work. The effects were huge.

Many questions were made about the ethics of such a thing.

Would it be right to mix the DNA of humans and animals together? Investigations into the chemicals were made, and soon, the back-story had come out: The luring of college students and other low status people as testing factors, the killings of Animalia Sapiens before the current Plantae/Animalia Homo Sapiens.

Thankfully though, the discovery of the Roetian Animalia Sapiens wasn’t found out.

However, the people were still shocked.

Riots formed all over the continent, Humane Societies organized protests against the Chemical being used on humans, as they still considered the humans transformed into the Animalia Sapiens “animals.” When word got out of North America of this Chemical, the other continents agreed.

They cut off trade and diplomacies with North American countries, only revoking them after all of North America agreed that the Chemical, or any Sapien, as they were now called, wouldn’t go on their territory. North American Governments, controlled by the politically powerful Scientists, didn’t comply. Thus, North America was shut off. While the rest of the world turned its back on North America, N.

America had its own problem on the inside.

The conflict between the anti-Sapien-turning Chemical and the pro-Sapien-turning chemical had reached an all-time high, especially in America.

The “free” country’s people pondered about whether to accept these new creatures, and therefore accept the concept that they too, would also be able to choose to be changed.

It reached the Supreme Court, who ruled, “Since the Sapiens are not, as such, true humans, they do not apply to be accepted into the United States of America.” As a result, the mostly pro-Sapien states, the Northern part of the United States and California, split off, forming the Liberal Sapien’s States of America.

The Scientists quickly went through the LSSA, finding anybody that wished to be transformed, and transformed those humans into the animal of their choice.

They worked quickly, for they knew that it would be days before the rest of America would retaliate. And sure enough, they did. A Second Civil War broke out in 2192…..but it ended, also, in 2192.

The newly formed Sapiens, along with the technology and manpower of the populous states of California and New York, destroyed the attack on them by the original States.

However, they agreed to come back to the USA, on the exception that Sapiens would be accepted in the USA. It was agreed.

Those that didn’t comply were allowed to flee to Canada, Mexico, or another island in North America. Although…there are hints, and rumors, of a resistance building up to push the Sapiens out of the USA. If that wasn’t enough, the Scientists, now the top power in government, received word of another problem.

The western coast of Canada, along with the states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and the North of California, had been taken. By the Animalia Sapiens. A Helpful Key and Summary- Homo Plantae/Animalia Sapiens- Can be named as Sapiens, Homo Plantae/Animalia Sapiens, or HPS or HAS. Animalia Sapiens- Can be named as A.

Sapiens or Roetian Sapiens Scientists- top scientists also very powerful in politics. Summary- The Scientists wished to create humans that also had animal powers, so they took humans (either forcefully or voluntary, but the Scientists didn't tell them what the experiment was,) and experimented on them.

Many died mutated, but later, the Scientist Jules Yupro created the first Animalia Sapien. This Animalia Sapien was human, but with heavily influenced animalistic aspects.

The Scientists worked on this chemical, and made even more A.

Sapiens. However, they noticed that the numbers were growing, and so to keep their experiment secret, they took the A.

Sapiens to Roetia Island, and killed them periodically there.

However, the A. Sapiens retaliated, and one day, took the island of Roetia for themselves.

The Scientists now just created A.

Sapiens...and killed them almost immediately after studying them.

Roetian A. Sapiens also later began to steal A.

Sapiens from the mainland, probably carrying them back to Roetia for recruitment.

The Scientist Horace Maleina then discovered the Chemical that could make the first Homo Animalia Sapien...and the first Homo Plantae Sapien.

These Sapiens were human, with only a few animalistic characteristics, but also with few animalistic powers.

When this was finally released to the public (sans the Roetia incident), some Animal Humane Societies, along with others that simply didn't like the concept, were against the idea.

The rest of the world was also appalled, and so shut N.

America off. When the USA decided that Sapiens couldn't be accepted into the USA, some states broke off, forming their own country.

A Second Civil War was fought, but the pro-Sapien states won.

However, these states agreed to come back in the USA on the terms that Sapiens would be accepted.

It was agreed. Now, it has been discovered that the A.

Sapiens have taken the west coasts of Canada, Alaska, Washington, and Oregon for themselves, and so the war between humans, Sapiens, and A.

Sapiens must begin.

(Yes, I know that the summary is pretty bad, but then shouldn't you just read the whole thing?

) Factions/Species Descriptions (This is really more of a species descriptions.

In this RPG, factions are more like groups formed within: Like for an example, you can be a HPS (Homo Plantae Sapien), but you can be part of the faction fighting against the A.

Sapiens, or some other random faction trying to bring down anti-Sapien cities.

PM me a faction, and I'll approve/disapprove it.

) Humans - The Homo Sapiens sapiens, the species from which the Sapiens and Roetian Sapiens stem.

Humans may have relatively no supernatural powers, but sure can adapt and create.

Even though virtually all firearm companies and weapon-making industries were destroyed by the Sapiens (and the Roetian Sapiens,) the humans have made up weapons to counterattack the Sapiens themselves.

It was really quite simple, just use the thing that the animal could be weak to.

From much more powerful bug repellent, to giant stun guns and elephant traps, the humans are still yet somebody to be feared.

Only Humans are able to use the weapons that they use.

Sapiens and Roetian Sapiens must rely on their own tactics.

However, simple kitchen weapons or commonplace items OR medieval weapons (katanas, swords, what-not) are able to be used by Sapiens and Roetian Sapiens.

(For an example, a knife/sword or a bat can be used by a Sapien, but a specially adapted rat poison injection shooter cannot.) Firearms and huge explosives (like missiles or bombs) are not allowed in this RPG, due to it being too moddy.

Besides, the industries creating them have already been destroyed, anyway. List of available weapons made by Humans Stun gun -Pretty much what it says.

Its power varies from gun to gun.

The effect on the creature/person it's used on also depends on the animal the Sapien is based off of.

Like, an elephant-based Sapien will not be brought down by low powered stun gun. Bug Repellent Sprayer - A much more powerful version of the common household item, this spray comes in two kinds.

One kind can render one virtually undetectable by bug-based (A.) Sapiens, and another just makes it so that bug-based Sapiens can't come near you. Arsenic Injection Needle - Designed to ward off the rat or mouse based Sapiens, although it can be used against any Sapien.

However, this weapon is really hard to come by...One jab of this is not enough to kill anybody, but it will cause pain, though it varies on size of the animal base.

On a mouse Sapien, it will cause a little bit more than moderate pain, but against an elephant Sapien, it'll probably just cause discomfort, with most of it coming from the needle, not the arsenic.

Needles that inject more arsenic can be found, but are rare, (<-- Only given as rewards.) Trap Throw - A whip....except that animal-catching traps are placed at the end of the strings.

These come in small traps to big ones, but the bigger the trap gets, the slower it is to whip. Sticky Tape - Derived from the strip to catch insects, this extremely long strip is something laid out by Humans to catch A.

Sapiens. Be careful though, one doesn't want to get stuck yourself.

The only way to get out of Sticky Tape is a corrosive chemical that all human soldiers carry.

This chemical only corrodes the Sticky Tape, though, so don't get worried about your feet falling off (or whatever it is you got stuck.) There is a limited amount though (2 times per bottle), so make sure to go to the nearest city to get your "Corrode" refilled.

Sticky Tape can also be used like a whip to catch flying, or fleeing, Sapiens. Vapor Bombs (Tank Friendly)- These release a gas that makes whoever breathes it in paralyzed.

Just make sure that you don't release it on yourself. Smoke Bombs (Tank Friendly)- ....Smoke....bombs... Tranquilizer - Stronger than the stun gun, this is now shaped kind of like a sniper rifle.

And pretty much has the power of one as well.

One shot from this can put anybody down.

However, it's really long, big, and requires two hands to hold.

There's also a waiting time of 5 minutes between shots, and each shot takes 3 seconds to actually fire. Electric Frisbee (Only used by the Superioris.

They're the anti-Sapien Human group if you forgot.

Others think that these are inhumane)- If this touches you, an electric current will immediately shoot through your body.

This thrown/placed on your head, the frisbee will open to fit around your neck, making a (stronger) electric collar like today's. Electric Gauntlet (Rewards and Random Events Only)- Slightly weaker than the electric frisbee, this gauntlet is basically a metal glove that fits over your hand to moderately shock somebody it touches.

There's a button on it that turns it on and off.

Be warned. The current gauntlet form only allows it to shock when turned on.

(Obviously.) However, this means it will shock anybody (including you) that it touches.

One cannot use a two-handed (in other words, a stronger) gun when carrying the gauntlet.

You would either have to take the gauntlet off, or you would have to just give it up. Light/Sound Mines (Tank Friendly)- These are placed on wherever you want it to be.

If disturbed, either bright light or incredibly loud sound will emanate, making this A- A helpful signal and/or locater, and B-something that can temporarily block someone's sight or hearing for about 2 minutes.

These mines are particular dangerous to those with advanced hearing/sight.

However, the people who placed them in the first place can also get affected, so make sure that you're well out of danger when these go off. Attack Whistle - Can be used to either call for help from Sapiens with sharp hearing (or attract Roetians with sharp hearing), or, if blown hard enough, to really negate the auditory sense of enemies.

Only can be worked on those with strong auditory hearing.

Other humans and those without special auditory senses aren't affected.

There is a sound code that one can use to transmit message to another special machine specially designed to receive these sounds. Think of an ultrasound Morse Code. Chemical Attractors (Tank Friendly)- Some animals (like insects) are attracted to special chemicals.

Put this in a specific place, and soon, that specific type of animal's Sapiens/Roetian Sapiens will be all over there.

Only Stage 4+ Sapiens can resist this.

However, Animal Roetians cannot resist these chemicals.

This weapon is only given out as a reward. Weedkiller Spray (Tank Friendly, Superioris only for the time being)- Dangerous to plant based Sapiens.

Course, this could hurt anybody if you got it in their eyes... Non-modern weapons -These include the bow and arrow, sword, spear, etc.

You can get creative with how you used them as well.

(Like...attaching stuff to them.) You may make up weapons yourself, but you must PM me or some other staff member the idea, and make sure that it's approved.

Then it will be added to this list.

Just make sure that they cannot kill in one shot, or decapitate/trap in one shot, UNLESS it has reasonable limits. Powered up weapons of those listed above will be given as rewards/random items for the players.

Humans may choose two basic weapons of the above to start (but not the ones specified only to be given out.) Vehicles (Human only) MiniPlane - As its name suggests, the MiniPlane was thought up as a smaller and more maneuverable plane around the towers and small A.

Sapiens. About the size of a small car, the MiniPlane is known for its speed and dexterity around buildings.

The only weapons that it can carry are Trap Throws (nets for catching), Sticky Tape, and weak-moderate Stun Guns.

Only two people can fit inside a MiniPlane, but it has a storage department for any unlucky enemy that happens to be caught by its Sticky Tape or Trap Throws.

All MiniPlanes come up with smoke bombs for escape methods. Rocket Pack - these packs are for one-on-one fighting against those in the sky.

Basically, they attach to your back, and you control yourself by bending your head in that direction.

To get back down, just pull the lever on the right side of the Rocket Pack down to make the rockets gently go out.

To go faster, just pull the lever up.

Whichever way the lever is left dictates how fast you're going.

However, due to the difficult way of flying with a Rocket Pack, it takes some time to actually know how to use it, and not fly into which ever way direction you somehow go.

In order to hover, flick the switch on the left side of the Rocket Pack, and the jets will move into a hovering position.

Any weapon can be taken with one flying with a rocket pack.

Just keep in mind that if your weapon requires two hands, it might be kind of hard to switch the levers. Bikes (and motorcycles) - Sort of self-explanatory.

One can attach shooting weapons to them, but if you're that desperate, then you've got bigger problems. Jet Hoverboard - A long board (with straps.

Safety first! biggrin.gif) that can hover in air.

However, it needs, at most, 10 feet under it so that it can levitate.

(This is so that people won't go magically floating over chasms with these.) Jets are attached so that these formerly-recreational boards can now be fast transports. Tank - Yup.

Pretty much like today's.

The bad thing is, others can take control of these, so be careful. Human Factions - The Superioris - These humans believe that the humans are the only dominant race, and are trying to stop all Sapiens/A.

Sapiens. These groups are currently active in: Tijuana and Vancouver.

They may also be in San Diego and Washington D.C.

This group uses the top-notch weapons for fighting against Sapiens and A.

Sapiens. The bad part?

The majority (Scientists, Sapiens, and A.

Sapiens) are against them. Sapieras - They believe in equality for all Sapiens.

They are reluctant to fight against the A.Sapiens, but will fight if the A.

Sapiens continue to attack.

This group uses moderate-top notch weapons (usually given to them by the Scientists.

This doesn't mean that they have better weapons than the Superioris, though.) The Scientists are on this side, and the Sapiens fight alongside this group. No Denomination -Humans that don't consist of any group, these people's only motivation to fight is for the land that the A.

Sapien's have taken.

The advantage for this group is that they really don't have any enemies.

The A. Sapiens don't wish to kill them, as they are not the ones that they took the land because of (and can simply just give the land back), and the Sapiens have no reason to.

The downside is, they really don't have anybody to really support them, either. Homo Plantae/Animalia Sapiens - The transformed humans by the Scientists, these have the powers of animals, but to a lessened degree.

However, they retain most of their human look in return.

All Sapiens must have at least one or two major animalistic change, OR three or four minor animalistic changes.

(I.E.-Having a small tail vs.

Slit-like pupils and a weirdly colored skin.) As time progressed, the Sapiens Vor and Lor began showing changes in their power.

The Scientists documented this change, and the summary is basically shown here: Stage 1 - Sapiens show a one minor power boost from one of the animal's abilities.

Attention: This ability is derived from the animal's family, not species.

For an example, you wouldn't use specific powers from a platypus at this stage, but you would rather get one power boost from the monotremes, the group from which the platypus is from.

And instead of a beagle, you would get the minor powers of dogs in common.

All Homo Plantae Sapiens have the same power boost at this stage- You all have increased power in the sun.

This stage is NOT the stage from which Lor and Vor started at. Stage 2 -Sapiens have the minor power boost from before increased in power.

(For monotremes, if you had the power to locate somebody via their electric impulses, that power would be amplified at this stage.

For Homo Plantae Sapiens- You have much more attack power in the sun, but this attack power disappears once the sun is either blocked, or gone.

If your plant doesn't depend on the sun for energy, just replace the sun with whatever your plant needs.) Again, this stage is still not the stage from which Lor and Vor started at. Stage 3 - Sapiens gain the moderate abilities of the specific animal.

(The platypus Sapien gains the increased ability to swim, to detect electrical impulses given off by living creatures, and the ability to adapt to cold temperatures.

A Strangler fig-Sapien can be able to climb anything with ease.) This is where Lor and Vor started out. Stage 4 -Sapiens gain the other abilities of the specific animal, or gain the amplified abilities of before.

(Platypus Sapien is able to swim in pretty much any water, detect even the smallest electrical impulses, and the ability to adapt to any temperature that isn't that extreme, OR the platypus Sapien would be able to use venom.

The Strangler Fig Sapien would be able to either climb on any kind of surface, OR be able to suck a little energy from those that it touches.) Stage 5 -Sapiens gain all the abilities that his/her animal base had, all with amplifications. Stage 6 -Sapiens have major increases in their abilities, and are also able to use supernatural powers.

(For the supernatural power, pick ONE of your non-offensive abilities and make it supernatural/offensive.

For an example, the Platypus Sapien may choose to begin to discharge electrical impulses of its own, and the Strangler Fig Sapien would be able to suck a little energy from those around it without touching them.

If you think that there is no power to "supernaturalize" other than the offensive ability, please PM me about it.) Stage 7 - The Sapien's supernatural power is at its peak.

Stage 7 Sapiens are the most powerful, and only the most powerful Human weapons and A. Sapiens can face up to them.

(The Platypus Sapien can discharge powerful electricity from its body, and the Strangler Fig Sapien can suck energy from those around it for a limited time.) Note: Sapiens gain the weaknesses/attractions of the animal base they have, but to a lesser extent. Sapien Factions - Pro-Scientist - Basically what the name implies.

These Sapiens fight for the Scientists, but are not necessarily controlled by them. Anti-Scientist -These don't care about what the Scientists do, and don't follow Scientist orders at all.

Heck, they might as well do nothing if they could.

It's too bad that the excitement of the battle attracts them. Anti-Humans - Not really against all humans, they're just really really against all anti-Sapien peoples and cities.

Like Vancouver and Tijuana.

They may or may not care about the battle going on between the A.

Sapiens and the Scientists/Humans/Scientist Sapiens. Plantae Supremacists -Originating from the rowdy Homo Plantae Sapiens in Brooklyn, these Homo Plantae Sapiens are pretty much for the plants.

If you're crushing nature or something, they'll go against you, or anybody else that's doing it.

Even Scientists. Animalia Sapiens - These humans have a lot more animal characteristics than Sapiens, but they're more powerful.

An A. Sapien must have at least three or four major animalistic parts. A.

Sapiens don't have as many stages, but they also start off more powerful.

A Stage One A. Sapien would be at the same power as a Stage Two Sapien.

However, at max power, the power difference between Sapiens and A.

Sapiens is lowered significantly, and as Sapiens and Roetians stage up, the gap between their power closes as well. Stage One - With two major animal characteristics, stage one A.

Sapiens gain all the characteristics of their animals, along with their weaknesses, but they're all very minor. Stage Two -The A.

Sapien gains the average abilities of its animal base. Stage Three -The A.

Sapien just get another boost of powers (and perhaps their appearance is modified.) Stage Four -Here is where the A.

Sapiens begin to split off into two distinct sub-species.

A. Sapiens all have two mindsets, one is animalistic, and one is humanistic.

One sub-species lets the animalistic mindset be a bit more dominant, while the other makes the human mindset the dominant one.

The Animal Roetian (the name for the A.

Sapien choosing to let the animalistic mind be dominant) gains more animal characteristics, but also with enhanced abilities (more than that of the Homo Animalia Sapiens).

The Human Roetian becomes more humanistic, also with enhanced abilities, but not to the extent of the Animal Roetian. Stage Five -the Animal Roetian becomes almost completely like its animal-base, sans the size, and maybe a few retained human parts.

The Animal Roetian is pretty powerful and fast;

It could best a Stage Seven Sapien on speed alone.

However, the animal base's weakness is also amplified.

The Animal Roetian is really easy to distinguish out, and so it's only good for straight-out attack.

The Human Roetian becomes completely human in almost any way,except that it can morph parts of its body into animal parts, as to gain its abilities.

The Human Roetian cannot access its animal powers in a human state.

Humans cannot distinguish between a Human Roetian and a regular Human here, but Sapiens can. Stage 6 (only for Human Roetians) -The Human Roetian now can only be distinguished between a regular Human and itself by the most sharp-eyed or keen-nosed Sapiens.

It can now access some of its animal powers in human form, but the powers are at its max when the Human Roetian has morphed the specified body part.

Human Roetians cannot transform fully into animals, and are still not as powerful as the Animal Roetian.

But it's pretty evened out when the Human Roetian could technically attack a human society from the inside.... A.

Sapien Factions -Technically, all the A.

Sapiens are united in fighting against the Scientists, but there are those with different parts to do. Fighters -These Roetians are just for fighting against Scientists, and that's basically it. Anti-Human - Not in any way connected to the Anti-Human Sapiens, these A.

Sapiens hate humans in general, but think of Sapiens as somewhat like equals. Neutral -These guys just don't care.

That's pretty much it, other than that they will fight whoever provokes them. Note: Going up in stages is relatively easy to go from stage one to two.

Just get in a battle and win.

To advance up in higher stages, you must prove yourself to win three battles, one of them against another member (but not necessarily killing them.) However, this can only get you up to stage Five for Sapiens, and Stage Three for Roetian Sapiens.

To advance higher, one must prove themselves to the staff members, and then a PM will tell you whether you've gone up a stage.

NPC battles are to be at least 10 posts long-depending on the size of the post, it can be shorter or longer. Goals: All Anti-Anythings just want the thing they hate gone.

So, Anti-Humans would want the humans destroyed/in submission, etc. The Scientists and Sapiens wish that the A.

Sapiens would stop attacking, but not necessarily that the A.

Sapiens die. The A.

Sapiens, however, have something to go for.

Infuriated by the Scientists' treatment of A.

Sapiens before the Sapiens came out, they want to kill/do away with the Scientists.

However, their first goal to attain is: Take the Chemical from Scientist hands.

What for? To make Roetian-style Plantae Sapiens.

(Humans may wish to stay humans if they want to be a Roetian Plantae Sapien.

Meaning, a Roetian Plant-based Sapien with a more plant-like appearance, and more plant powers.) Current Sapien Goal: To fight against the A.

Sapiens invading, and maybe to eliminate Human opposition. Current A.

Sapien Goal: Either heed Canada's wishes and stop taking land (and gain Canada's neutrality,) or keep Canadian land to make the search for the Chemical easier.

Which leads to the primary goal-Get the Chemical Current Human Goal: Keep the A.

Sapiens from getting more land, and get the land back, and/or eliminate all Sapiens and Roetians. Important Notes- Transportation Hubs are hubs that allow one to teleport from city to city instantaneously.

There is a system that controls this that's located in San Diego.

Transport hubs can range from huge ones that are designed to transport massive numbers of people (but take longer), to small domestic hubs for one-person use only.

The most common hubs (the ones located on city streets) allow for three people to be transported.

Hubs work by inputting the street name (and zip code and state, if needed), and then pressing enter.

Then, your body will be transported to the specified area.

However, if the place is closed off for security reasons, then you will be sent to the nearest available hub.

The only places were Transportation Hubs are not available are: Anchorage (New Roetia), Frost, Portland, Seattle, and Sacramento.

Non-humans are unable to use Transportation Hubs.

In Juneau, Transportation Hubs may or may not be available in the Airport. Extinct species-based Sapiens (Animalia or Plantae) and Roetians ARE allowed, but please be reasonable with what you choose.

So yes, dinosaurs are allowed, and so are extinct creatures/plants.

Just PM me or a staff member what animal you're doing, and a link to a site confirming the creature's existence. NPCs: (characters controlled by me for plot-ness.

Once again, color-coded by standings.) Human: Jules Yupro (Scientist)- The person who first made the Chemical, he also basically caused the whole Sapien thing.

He's the leader of the Sapieras.

(Staten Island in New York City, New York) Dr.

Horace Maleina (Scientist)- The Scientist who perfected the Chemical, he is now the leader of all the Scientists.(Washington D.C.) Roy Alkie- He's a very anti-Sapien person who is suspected as the leader of the Superioris.

He’s an excellent fighter in martial arts.

(Vancouver, Canada) Jose Tibara-Friends with Roy Alkie, Jose became anti-Sapien when he witnessed two Sapiens kill his parents in cold blood.

He's convinced that all Sapiens are bad, and helps Roy round up followers in Tijuana.

He's very influential.

(Tijuana, Mexico) Julia Moer-A pro-Sapien girl in San Diego, she's a very talented gymnast who also has a taste for adventure. Sapiens: Vor- the Stage 6 Platypus Sapien, he's the leader in fighting against the A.

Sapiens. He trusts the Humans with all his heart, and is a rather good fellow to get along with.

(Pro-Scientist)(San Francisco, California) Lor-A stunning Stage 6 Rose Sapien, she's not very interested in fighting for the Scientists.

Still, she's against the A.

Sapiens after they had called her a "weed." Yep, she's a tad vain.

(Anti-Scientist)(San Francisco, CA) Mazzy-A Stage 4 Dandelion Weed Plantae Sapien, she wants to fight against the A.

Sapiens going against her city of Portland.

A battle-hardened character, she is a sworm enemy of Vert's.(Plantae Supremacist)(Portland, Oregon) (Inferna Controlled)-Name: Mark Stone Species: Homo Animalia Sapien Faction: Seattle Survivors Animal Base: Black Howler Monkey Powers for Stage Three: Stronger vocal cords, able to climb most trees/buildings if handholds are sufficient.

Prehensile tail. Personality: He is serious in trying to survive the Roetian invasion, but along the way developed a fastination with his enemies, and often tries to capture one so they can be studied and to find a way to stop them.

He can be somewhat sadastic, but is careful not to take it too far. Appearance: He has white skin, but his hair is an unnatural black and he has small eyes and large nostrils.

His fingernails are longer and thicker than a normal human's.

He has a prehensile tail that sticks out of his pants, which has black fur covering it. Bio: Mark grew up in Seattle, and is currently 27 years old.

He is the leader of the H.A.S.

In the Space Needle, and in charge of biological weapon design along with study.

He is eager to have a Roetian to use as his test subject for his ideas, but also so he can further study what they are further. Roetians: Vert- the Stage 4 Animal Roetian, this guy is against all Scientists, and possibly against all humans.

He's very well-respected by A.

Sapiens, and his presence gives a sense of fear around his enemies...but that may be because he looks like a huge rat.(Anti-Human)(Seattle, WA) Loli- the Stage 5 Human Roetian, this cute-looking girl is the strongest A.

Sapien. Formed from the Emperor Penguin as a base, it would be recommended that you don’t mess with her.

It would be hard to annoy her though, as she’s generally very kind and patient.

Sometimes, she’s a tad childish.

She’s pretty carefree, although she dislikes all anti-Sapien people and other haters.(Neutral) Phil Labonte Species: Roetian Faction: Roetian Animal Base: Triceratops Stage Four Powers: Extremely tough skin, thermoregulation, augmented bones, extreme strength. Weaknesses: Not overly agile, quite blinded by his goals Personality: Phil is extremely intelligent, calculating, and manipulative.

He prefers to not rush into things, but rather sit back and see how things draw out before going on. Backstory: Phil had a troubled childhood.

His mother died giving birth, and his father, apparently insane from grief, almost tried to kill him before doctors intervened.

He was given to his mother's parents, and wasn't raised well, as his grandparents were already poor, and had medical conditions that prevented them from much interaction with Phil.

However, he excelled in school, but chose a biker life rather than going on to college, one because his grandparents couldn't support him, and two because he didn't really care for more educational life.

He lead quite a carefree life, but was one day blamed for a murder that he didn't commit.

(Obviously.) During his prison stint, he was forced into the Sapien program.

Upon his fusion, he was kept in solitary confinement under close watch.

But the prison didn't count on his augmented strength and his calculating nature, and within a week, he was out, swearing revenge on the government which had so wrongly imprisoned him.

He inherited the leader title of Portland after the initial leader died in an all-out attack against Portland, leading to Phil becoming even more cautious. Appearance: 7'7", 223lbs.

Phil has the build of a professional fighter, and is topped with jet black, jarheaded hair.

He has dark grey eyes, and many tattoos.

Phil usually wears a skull-adorned fitted black t-shirt, with blue jeans and Doc Martens.

After the experiment, he grew two black horns out of his forehead, giving him the appearance of a demon.

He also has large spikes along his shoulders.

His skin has taken on a scaly, grey appearance.

It is also noted that he has flattened, squared incisor teeth, and his hands and feet are exceptionally large and his digits are extremely stubby in appearance.

He's also completely lost his appetite for meat. Character Submission Form (You can have up to three characters) Please PM me, Kagha, or Inferna the profile.

You need at least two staff members to approve it. Your Username: Your RPG Name: Species (Faction can be decided later): (If you've decided already) Faction: (If not Human) Animal Base, please be specific in your species: Powers for Stage One and weaknesses - Personality (If a Sapien/Roetian Sapien, please incorporate animalistic qualities in your personality.

If you're a Sapien, incorporate less, if you're a Roetian, incorporate more): Backstory (Basically, how did your character become how it is today?

If a human, why does it like/hate/is involved with the Sapiens?

If a Sapien/Roetian, how did it come to be that way?

And of course, everything else that you think we should know.

Please be specific.): Appearance (Be specific, so that each character won't be the same.

Sapiens must have either one-two (one is probably best) major animalistic trait or three to four minor animalistic physical traits.

Roetians must have at least three major animalistic traits (or a LOT of minor traits).

A minor trait= changes in eyes, teeth, skin, animal ears, and appendages changed slightly to that of the animal's, colors, and short whiskers (that are usually for appearance).

Major trait=really prominent ears, eyes, teeth or whiskers, neck, appendages, and other things like a tail and wings.

)- Rules/Ethics 1.

Follow the BZP rules and RPG guidelines. 2.

Use IC for in character, and OOC for out of character.

An example: Quote: IC: He dodged the sting, and proceeded to try and punch the Sapien in the stomach. OOC: Is this battle ever going to end? 3.

No spam nor flaming please.

Yes, I know that there are groups that are against another, but that doesn't mean that one can carry it outside of the game.

Which also leads to the next rule... 4.

In this RPG, please don't go and on about how much you hate the other side.

Sure, they're opposite factions, but don't let it get too far, either in IC or OOC. 5.

Please, no god-modding.

That is when you make your character do something that wouldn't normally be possible to do.

An example: Quote: He fell to the ground, injured.

In desperation, he reached for the knife at his side and threw it into the Sapien's leg. That is, even though your character is injured, making the knife go into the Sapien's leg no matter what.

Don't do things that exaggerate the reality of what could happen and don't control others characters. 6.

No auto-hitting. That is, making a hit automatically connect.

However , if in battle, if 5 hits go by with each opponent, then auto-hits are all right.

But, these auto-hits must be minor. 7.

Do not control other players’ characters without their permission. 8.

Respect the staff and other players. 9.

Please do not act like you're "all knowing".

Even if somebody says that they're going to do something in the RPG doesn't mean that your character knows about it.

So please, keep the "luckily, Bob did something that would totally destroy the plan that he didn't know about by accident"s down. 10.

Have fun. Or else. The Ethics part: This applies to all Human Roetians (when you guys get there): Human Roetians ARE able to use human weapons.

However, this is considered a huge defraction by Sapiens and Roetians alike, and so if you (a Human Roetian) use a human weapon against another Roetian OR Sapien, then you will be labeled as a “traitor” of sorts.

Think of it like breaking some moral law. Staff 1.

Hewkiinuva 2. Inferna Firesword 3.

Kagha 4. Rockhound Battle Rules: NPC battles- if you are fighting against a character that isn't using location stamps that is controlled by me, Inferna, Kagha, (or one that you made by yourself -please don't abuse this) then it would require a minimum 10 of your posts.

Length can be accounted for being more than one post (I.E.- a paragraph of fighting material could count as being two posts-worth if deemed so.) Member Battles- Basically, if you're fighting against any member-owned character that is in the profiles.

At least 5 posts per member of the battle is necessary. Other rules:If you're fighting against two members/NPCs that are controlled by staff only , and you win, then that victory counts as being two victories.

(However, each has to be within the specified number of posts.) If you lose, then you get the amount of "exp" (excuse the term) to amount to one victory.

If you're on the two-person side, and you win against one person, you still get the one victory.

If you lose, you still get the "losing experience".

Same applies to 1 vs.

3, 1 vs. 4, 2 vs.

3, etc. etc. Basically, the losing experience is equal to how many people you lost to, and the winning experience is equal to how many people you won against.

However, mass organizations of battles will not excepted.

(4 vs. 4 is the max.

And even that is weird.) Thanks to Alex/Dr.

Setting: North America, the Pacific Islands from Hawaii-west coast of North America, and the islands contained in the Caribbean.

Basically….The North American Continent and its surrounding islands and waters. North America: Most of the action occurs here.

The rest of the action occurs in the islands of the Pacific, but that's a ways from now. COLOR SCHEME - Green = Sapien Friendly.

Red = Roetian Sapien Friendly.

Blue = Anti-Sapien.

Brown = Battleground.

Crossed Out= Cities not yet open/Only Plot-based Cities.

Please don't IC in a crossed out city, because it's most likely that you won't get any action at all. San Diego, California Pretty good place, the weather is nice, but hot, and the weather stays warm all year round.

A reptile-based Sapien would do well here, and so would other heat-loving Sapiens and humans.

San Diego is a fairly free place, with pro-Sapiens and anti-Sapiens living there.

However, none are radical.

(Basically, nobody would attack you for being on the other side here.) Starting point for Reptilian Sapiens or Desert-based Sapiens. - Downtown - an area that basically anybody can mix into.

Many things can be found here, along with all kinds of people, Sapien, or not. - Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World - no longer showing off just animals, these places are also second habitats to Sapiens who visit, or live, here. San Francisco, California Still the beautiful city, San Francisco also marks the northernmost stronghold of the USA in California against the A.

Sapiens. San Francisco is a very liberal place, so it's pro-Sapien, and anybody not for it is frowned upon, but nothing is done against them. -Golden Gate Bridge-a giant bridge spanning from San Francisco, it's the pride of the city. -Worldcity- Built on the grounds of Chinatown, Worldcity contains the cultures, and people, of many different ethnicities.

It contains great freedom, with people allowed to hold meetings of any kind as long as the Worldcity's governing leaders are notified.

However, it is still part of San Francisco.

Of course, Sapiens are also welcome.

Though, there is growing anti-sentiment against the A.

Sapiens, since the threat of A.

Sapien take-over is much too real. Sacramento, California With more diversity in temperatures, Sacramento contains the hot, warm, the cool, and the cold.

Ever since its capture by the Roetian Animalia Sapiens (A.Sapiens), there are virtually no humans living in this area, or at least, none that show their face.

However, this place is a frequent battleground between the Scientists Sapiens (and their allies, the humans) and the A.

Sapiens, so everything here looks like a ghost town.

Starting point for land-based A.

Sapiens. -All buildings and neighborhoods are in ruins, the A.

Sapiens living here mostly roam in nature. Portland, Oregon The City of Roses refused to fall under the A.

Sapiens assault. The Scientists here quickly, (and sometimes, forcefully) transformed many people into Plantae Homo Sapiens.

These Plantae Homo Sapiens repelled the attack by the A.

Sapiens, and saved the city.

Now, all Plant-based Sapiens are revered here, and treated with the utmost respect.

Portland is now covered with plants, and the humans here live in harmony with other Sapiens, aside from the Roetian ones, of course.

However, the Roetian Sapiens still lie in wait around the city, always waiting for an opening.

Nobody in Portland goes out, as its a very secure city, but then again, nobody, or anything, goes in.

Thus, the city of Portland is believed to have fallen from the view of the rest of the USA.

Nobody has ever made the journey to safe grounds to tell of Portlands survival. - Hoyt Arboretum - a place filled with trees, there is rarely any free space on the ground for more than one yard.

The inhabitants here travel in the branches.

Starting point for Tree-based Plantae Homo Sapiens. - Forest Park - a place filled with plants, much of the food in Portland is grown here.

Starting point for other Plantae Homo Sapiens. - Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden (now called the Crystal Springs Flower Garden)- an incredibly beautiful place filled with flowers.

Flowers here are treated almost like sacred objects.

Treading on a flower here is considered a huge blasphemy against the Homo Plantae Sapiens, and there are many Flower Homo Sapiens here to enforce that nobody does.

Starting point for Flower-based Plantae Homo Sapiens. -Surrounding Areas- Infested with A.

Sapiens planning to take down Portland.

Many are herbivore-based, as a little advantage against the Plantae Homo Sapiens in Portland.

Optional Starting Point for Herbivore-based A.

Sapiens . Seattle, Washington The city of Seattle also didnt fall under the hands of A.

Sapiens. However, it seems that its going to.

A huge battle area for humans, Sapiens, and Roetian/A.

Sapiens, much of everything here is in ruins.

The rain also kind of adds a little bit of gloom to the already depressing mood.

Recommended place for battle for those that want to.

Flying Sapiens and flying/non-flying A.

Sapiens are able to start here, but are not required to. - Space Needle (its a tower, for those of you that dont know)- enlarged to almost 20x its original size, this is the location of where most of the resisting Sapiens and humans are. - Tower Ruins - the once tall skyscrapers of Seattle are now in decline.

Some are home to isolated humans or Sapiens, and some are home to the A.

Sapiens invading the area.

Sky battles are frequent here. Note: Portland and Seattle are refuges in hostile territory.

That means, it is likely that those that start here will not be able to go out into the outside areas (like, the rest of the USA or Canada,) until either: AThey are liberated, or B.

The cities are taken. Vancouver, Canada For some reason, Vancouver was not taken by the A.

Sapiens. Proud city of Canada, this place is the first potential safe place for those escaping from the A.

Sapien-infested place of Washington.

However, none have made it there so far.

There is a "slight" drawback, though, as Vancouver is predominantly against all Sapiens, and is also the location of many Animal Humane Societies, who are against the Sapiens and A.

Sapiens. Thus, all kinds of Sapiens should be warned to proceed here with caution.

The organization plotting to form to fight against the Homo Animalia/Plantae Sapiens had its origins from here.

It is unknown if they are still around, though.

Starting point for those Humans against all Sapiens. - Rose Gardens - There are rumors of Homo Plantae Sapiens gathering here, but it is unknown if they do.

I will only allow Homo Plantae Sapiens to start here if they already have a used character, since Vancouver is mainly a place that may potentially rise against Sapiens if they are seen.

Therefore, most Sapiens starting here are either trying to get out, or trying to take Vancouver from within. West Coasts of Canada This sparsely populated place may or may not be taken by Animalia.

But, what reason is there to?

Considered a mostly neutral territory by humans, Sapiens, and Animalia alike, this place is a free for all for everybody. - Frost - The first and only Sapien city in the, well, world.

However, it's really more of a militant base, so two caravans coming twice a year give its supplies.

These caravans are heavily guarded, as only too many hostile humans and A.

Sapiens would jump at the chance of starving out so many Sapiens...

Optional Starting Point for any other Homo Plantae/Animalia Sapien. - Vancouver Island, or New Roetia - Near the city of Vancouver, this place is a haven for A.

Sapiens. With food, protection, and themselves being strong warriors, what is there to fear?

Optional Starting Point for A.

Sapiens. Ottawa, Canada Proud capital of Canada, this place is bursting with Scientists, humans, and Sapiens alike.

The place here is radically pro-Sapien, and it even has denounced attacks on the A.

Sapiens, although it is against the A.

Sapiens taking land in North America, especially since that it's also their territory.

Important Note: Ottawa is a city without sides for the A.

Sapiens. A. Sapiens, you have a choice.

You may keep trying to take land (motives discussed later), or you may stop and give up the land you have taken to the Canadians.

If you do give them up, Canada will not be against you.

If you keep it, then you will have another enemy against you.

But of course, if you do give up the land, you can always take it back... -Peace Tower- aside from its memorials of soldiers, this place is also the landmark of where the first Sapien was killed in a riot.

This place rapidly changed the setting of Ottawa, making it into the pro-Sapien place it is today.

Any Sapien who runs here as a haven will be spared.

Some questions have been raised about what would happen if an Animalia Sapien touched it for safety, but that yet remains to be seen. -Chaudiere Bridge, Alexandra Bridge, Macdonald Cartier Bridge - the bridges connecting the two parts of Ottawa, any possession of these bridges will result in the capture of that part of Ottawa. -Confederation Building -main government building of Canada, this place contains the workplace of the Canadian Scientists. Toronto, Canada For reasons unknown, Toronto's inhabitants suddenly died....or disappeared.

Bodies have been discovered, but it was obvious that at least half of Toronto's population is still missing.

Nobody had bothered to remove the bodies, as the whole city seemed to have something weird about it.

One may care to adventure here, but be wary of its nickname: "La Ville de Morte", the City of Death.

Everything here seems to have unchanged since that fateful day of October 25, 2193 at 3:27 PM.

How do people know?

Even the clocks had stopped moving.

Toronto seemed to have frozen with cars still in the streets, except that for every corpse in its car in the streets, the next car would have nobody in it.

As said before, nobody knows why.

There seemed to be nothing wrong with the bodies, except that they were...well...dead. - Suburbs -even the families still going about their daily lives can be found dead in these houses.

But of course the next one may have nobody in it at all.... - Yonge-Dundas Square - Vendors can be found sprawled over their carts, shops filled with the bodies of shoppers.

The busiest square in the city has also become one of the most silent. Juneau (ruins), Alaska This place was one of the first cities to fall to the A.

Sapiens. A ruined place, not even the A.

Sapiens go through here on their patrols.

However, that doesnt mean there may be survivors of the attacks. - Juneau National Airport - the only place left standing, although it is deteriorating due to lack of people trying to keep it in shape.

Survivors, if any, of all kinds live here. Anchorage, Alaska The A.

Sapiens made this city theirs.

Dont go here if youre not one of them.

Optional Starting point for A.

Sapiens. -The Underground - Even with all the A.

Sapiens dwelling above, there is still a group plotting to bring it down from below.

The Underground will be revealed later in the RPGs plot. - City of Anchorage - deteriorating rapidly.

The A. Sapiens usually live in their communities in the parks and forests. New York City, New York A bustling pro-Sapien area, New York City has only urbanized over the last few centuries.

New York City is also the area where the first Sapien victory against the USA in the Second Civil War took place.

City-found Homo Plantae/Animalia Sapiens may choose to start here. - Sapia -The Sapien community in Queens, this place is usually for those who wish to live a quiet life, or at least want to live among those that one has in common.

This place is relatively safe, as who wants to mess with a Sapien community in a pro-Sapien city?

Small animal-based Sapiens or Sapiens made from children may start here - Staten Island -This place has become now just a place for the Scientists and other high-powered Sapiens, while the humans living here were forced to go to other places to live.

The Scientists' work originated from this area, and this place is also heavily guarded, as the Scientists don't want their top-secret work open to the public.

Little to nothing is known about what is on Staten Island at this time, only that Scientists have been seen entering and leaving the place.

Sapiens are not seen either leaving or entering, and yet, strange sounds still come out from the island from time to time. Washington D.C. Proud capital of the USA, this is city is, by default, half pro-Sapien and half anti-Sapien, though like San Diego, neither are radical.

However, the anti-Sapien side seems strangely domestic, as if they were planning something else.... - White House - the President lives here, although he is mainly reduced in power, since much of it goes to the Scientists.

However, he hasn't been reduced to just an image. - Capitol -This place has become the meeting place for Scientists and governing officials alike. Much of D.C.

Has not changed, with the exception of the - Moreander - The inter-continental meeting place for all Scientists.

Some of their work is stored here in this large, elaborate building. Baja California The peninsula in Mexico, this place is the only place safe in Central America.

It seems that the rest of Central America (and Mexico) is covered in what seems to be a strange gas.

However, this ends abruptly at Baja California.

Do NOT go into Mexico and/or Central America.

There is a reason that it's off-limits, but that's for another story.

Just know that when people enter, you will not , come back. - Tijuana -This place is radically anti-Sapien, and it's notoriously known for some murders of Sapiens.

This city dislikes San Diego for its diversity of pro-Sapiens and anti-Sapiens.

Although it supports the A.

Sapien fighting in the north, some Sapiens would like nothing better than to see Tijuana destroyed.

If you don't want to start in Vancouver, but still want to be a Human against all Sapiens, you may start here as well. - The Mexico Line- This line is bordered by Baja California on one side, and with a strange gas like substance ending abruptly here.

People, as well as Sapiens, who have gone over to this side have never come back.

The Mexican Scientists have all but disappeared. Roetia Island Where the A.

Sapiens previously came from, most are now in North America.

(Roetia will play a larger role later in the plot.) Continental Wall This gigantic wall was built in Panama in South America, and in the sea dividing Russia and Alaska for the purpose of shutting out North America. Nobody is allowed to pass this wall. - Wall's Reachings (Basically, the point where the RPG location ends)- The Pacific Wall was built along Asia's Western coast so that nobody will be able to reach Asia and Australia.

The Panama Wall was built in Panama, so that no North Americans would be able to access South America.

The Trans-Atlantic Wall was built in the Atlantic so that nobody would be able to access the continents of Europe and Africa. Humans will be allowed to start anywhere, aside from Frost and New Roetia Please adhere to the city's location in being anti or pro Sapien or where they are.

For those starting in Portland and Seattle, help will come, and there is plenty to do trying to repel A.

Sapien attack. If you do try to get out, expect a lot of opposition against you.

Also, if a city is radically anti/pro Sapien, they will most likely stay that way.

A city will only change their stance if they are cornered by the enemy, or if the city is just destroyed.

Locations specified here are not the only places that one can go, it's just that these are important in some way to the whole plot of the RPG, or are significant to some of the city's weakpoints or undercover groups, and so most of the RPG's plot will center around the things here, unless I decide to add another location.

In that case, that city will be added to this list. Any Sapiens/Roetian not addressed in the starting points above may start anywhere they wish, as long as the place they are starting at isn't adverse to them.

Character Profiles Animalia Sapiens Username: Inferna Firesword Character Name: Lauren Adrastos Species: Animalia Sapien (Human) Faction: Fighter;

Slightly Anti-Human Animal Base: Cheetah Stage 4 Powers: Lauren can now run as fast as her base animal when she's pressed -- only when pressed.

Her eyes can see very well in the dark, and she has a developed sense of balance.

Her hair works like whiskers on a cat, allowing her to sense air changes.

Her sense of smell has also been added to.

Hher hands and feet have reverted back to human-like ones.

Her breath comes easily, but she gets tired easily if she runs too long.

Her bone structure has gotten weaker, but it's not as weak as it was earlier. Appearance: A tall, thin girl with tanned skin and blonde hair.

She has black tear marks on her face, stretching from beneath her eyes to her jaw, and clawed hands.

Her eyes are amber, and are slightly shaped like a cats.

She usually wears clothing she steals from abandoned shops, and wears them down until she cant use them anymore or they get too stinky for her to use.

They generally are ripped after long days of use, though not enough to besmirch her modesty.

One hole in her pants is intended, though -- for her cheetah tail.

Her tail has become more like a rudder, making it easier for her to turn.

Her hands and feet have become like a cheetah's paws, making her unable and unneeding shoes, but they have reverted back into normal appendages. Personality: Lauren hates staying still for too long or being confined to one place for too long it drives her nuts.

She is very driven by her goals, especially the one to seize the chemical and destroy the Scientists.

She can be sassy at times, and that gets worse when shes stuck in a position when she cant run.

She is very friendly and outgoing around her fellow Roetians, and has street smarts to spare, but when it comes to matters of the heart, she's a little lost. Bio: Lauren was a street rat along with her best friend when they were plucked off the streets of New York by the Scientists for experimentation when they were both thirteen.

She is currently eighteen.

Her friend was destroyed after she became an A.

Sapien with a cobra base, while Lauren was rescued.

She had been within hearing distance of her friend when she was killed, and that memory haunts her to this day.

Lauren enjoys the new powers she has an Animalia Sapien, but loathes it as well, because of what the Scientists did to her friend.

She is determined to stop the Scientists and obtain the chemical, placing her on the front lines of Seattle.

She doesnt hate all humans she was one before she was changed, after all only the ones who protect the Scientists, are on their side, or get in her way get her anger.

She also holds a grudge against her family back on the East Coast (because of them, she was forced to run away and thus be changed against her will), and wants revenge someday. Your Username: Rockhound Your RPG Name: Jake Leollera Species: Animalia Sapien (Human) Faction: Fighters Animal Base: African Bull Lion Powers for Stage Four: Long claws on fingers, incredibly increased speed/agility/senses/muscle mass and structure, and a long, shaggy, golden head of hair that runs down his back almost to his waist.

His paws have reverted back into hands, and his mane is shedding into a shorter group of hair as he progresses up the stages. Personality: Jake is somewhat a loner who is quite sarcastic and harsh upon first meeting someone else.

Underneath a slightly gruff exterior is someone who longs for a feline Animalia Sapien (female, of course) and would do almost anything to meet someone like that. Backstory: He was one of the later experiments, rescued by some of the others of his kind and transported to Canada, where he waited for the right time to take revenge.

When the attack was launched on Seattle, Jake eagerly joined in and did his fair share. Username: Inferna Firesword Character Name: Jonathan Aderyn Species: Animalia Sapien (Animal) Faction: Fighter Animal Base: Peregrine Falcon Stage 4 Powers: Flight, eyesight.

He can fly higher and faster than he could at lower stages, his eyes can see much further (up to about 2.0 miles), and is faster then any bird-based Sapien.

However, his bones had become hollow so he can fly, meaning a strong enough impact could cripple him. Appearance: A short, dark skinned boy with sharp yellow eyes.

He has larger versions of a fully-grown falcons wings and taloned feet.

Due to this, he never can wear shoes or a shirt now, no matter how cold it gets.

He now resembles a human-sized falcon, with stunted hands and arms. Personality: Jonathan is claustrophobic and panics when he cant see the sky.

However, he can be counted on in a situation to bring help or pull off a rescue mission.

He is very good at aerial combat, and can get slightly cocky when hes taking on an enemy that can fly as well.

He is territorial and short-tempered at times.

He's slightly mischivous and likes teasing other Roetians, but he respects stronger Roetians, especially Vert. Bio: Jonathan is exceptional amongst his kind in that he didnt wait to get rescued from the Scientists;

He rescued himself by breaking out and flying north to Canada.

He found others of his kind there, and waited for the day to take revenge with the rest of his kind.

When the attack was mounted in Seattle, he was one of the first into the fight.

He lives amongst the skyscrapers near the Space Needle as a constant reminder of those who live within of the presence of his kind.

He is currently fifteen. Username: Kagha Character Name: Noah Vanderkus Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: Fighters Animal Base: Mastigoteuthis flammea (if you need a referance, it's a kind of Whip-Lash Squid) Stage Two Powers/Weaknesses: Can breathe underwater through a set of gills, and can withstand underwater pressures up to 400 times than that of the surface.

Siphons on his wrists and thighs suck in air/water and shoot it out for propulsion in either swimming or running or other uses, and both have ink sacs inside that can be used to shoot ink in squirts of clouds.

Able to adhere to surfaces via tiny, unnoticeable suckers on all ten limbs.

Able to change colour of skin as an effect means of camouflage;

Also able to produce light from his limbs, chest, or eyes, and change the colour of that light at will.

Hard-lensed eyes(unlike the normal human eye, these type of eyes are focused on everything in sight like a telescope or camera, rather than changing focus with movement).

Ability to sense tiny movements in the area around him.

Highly tuned vision, especially in darkness.

Main tentacles(original "arms") are normally very long(4 feet) but can retract into their own membranous sheathes.

Natural squid-based agility and sensitivity.

He is also resistant to extremely cold temperatures.

Noah has almost no bones in his body other than the chitin-like gladius and the cartilage skull.

He is much lighter than the average human(90 lbs) and has less stability in his legs. Personality: Noah is arrogant, calculating, and cautious.

He makes sense of a situation before rushing into it, and prefers to talk a lot.

He has a tendency to talk extensively to his enemies.

He is patient and, one would say, slightly sadistic.

He has a fondness for water and swimming, but is just as effective on the ground. Backstory: In his early life, Noah was a bright, wealthy high school student.

He loved science, but also loved literature.

He was nineteen when he heard of the Scientist's project, and decided to offer his services, oblivious to what this project might mean.

Noah escaped after being transformed and hid in the waters around Roetia, as the other Animalia Sapiens raided the base.

When the Roetians were going back to North America, he swam along.

His time on Roetia had changed him both physically and mentally.

Now he uses his smarts to con people.

He bears a strong hatred for the Scientists, and wishes to attain the Chemical.

When all is done, he sees a world of equality between all humans and Sapiens.

He does not hate the humans, in fact he respects them -- he hates the Scientists, and he hates his enemies. Appearance: Noah has straight, shoulder length black hair, with short, out-curving bangs.

He often wears fake glasses, despite having excellent eyesight, to add to his look, being highly conscious about his appearance.

His skin is normally a yellowish tan colour. His eyes have a purple hue.

He has ten limbs in total, all boneless and flexible.

Four of them are the same looking and positioned as before in his mostly human form, but the other six come from his back;

Four where his shoulder blades would be, and two above his thighs.

Countless, almost unnoticeable dark spots are up and down the undersides of all his limbs besides his tentacles/arms.

The only place on his arms that these marks are are on his hands.

Over his shoulders, torso and down to his thighs, he has an extra layer of velvety skin that covers him.

Where this mantle ends at the sides of his thighs, there are small openings where the siphons are.

Smaller versions of these funnels are on his wrists. Noah tends not to usually bend his main arms or legs in any other way than a normal elbow/knee joint would, wanting to keep his humanlike appeal. He has two fins on either side of his neck, which are part of his mantle, starting at the base of his shoulder and going down to near where the elbow would be.

He keeps them folded most of the time for the same general reason. Your Username: Lighter Than Some (Bundalings) Your RPG Name: Craig Smith Species: Anamalia Sapiens Faction: Anti Human Animal Base: Stenaptinus insignis (African Bombardier Beetle) Powers for Stage Two: He can fire rapid bursts of boiling liquid gas from his wrists.

This is painful, but only deadly if he is allowed to do it continuously for some time or if he shoots you in the face or something.

He can control the direction of the chemical to an extent.

He is somewhat resistant to the gas.

He can also fly moderate distances.

Hard, but jointed for flexibility, he has an exoskeleton that covers his body. Weaknesses: The gas is also harmful to himself, even if much less so than it is to others.

He's susceptible to cold. Personality: Explosive and passionate.

He's pretty friendly most of the time, but is easily ticked off if you do something he doesn't like.

Not the brightest bulb in the room, if you know what I mean.

Not to say that he's dull, but he's no Einstein either. Backstory: Not much interesting to say here.

He got duped just like all the other Roetians, and is now a part of the Portland raid. Appearance: He's about sixteen but he looks somewhat older.

Genes and all that.

He prides himself in being fit and looking good, being very athletic-looking and muscular.

His body is covered with a hard (fitted, ya?) shell, a fiery orange/red on his arms, lower legs, and head (it's flexible around the mouth and there are eye and nose holes).

His torso, upper legs, and neck are black.

On a beetle the exoskeleton might not seem particularly strong to you, but make it proportionate to a human and it is no weak thing.

He has wings hidden under two black elytra (those wing shell things on beetles) on his back.

Both wings and elytra are more flexible than is the case on beetles, and they automatically conform to his back. In the way of clothes...

After his evolution with the all covering shell, he discarded them.

They got in the way, and he sacrificed no modesty because of the shell.

You could say he's wearing all-covering natural armor.

His hair is covered by the shell, but if it wasn't, it would be short, brown and tousled, and partially bleached from the sun.

His eyes are brown too. Your Username: Akaku:Master of Flight Your RPG Name: Joel Rayle Species: Animalia Sapiens Faction: Fighter Animal Base: Snow Leopard Powers for Stage One and Weaknesses: Enhanced climbing, swimming, and can run twenty kilometers an hour (double the amount a human can run).

However, often very tired and cant see well in daylight. Personality: Has a sense of humor, and is often sarcastic.

He is also kind, and stands up for his friends and allies.

He also can be very stealthy, often seeming to almost "appear out of nowhere" (not literally) at times.

Being related to the leopard species, if he can't find suitable prey, he'll simply go after a human if starved, weak, and it's his only option. Backstory: Joel was originally, a mechanic at the time, but his boss had gone bankrupt, and everything went downhill from there.

Desperate not to lose his apartment, he decided to be "tested" by the Scientists, and, you could say he never saw that apartment of his again.

He managed to escape, and since then, he has always had hatred against the Scientists. Appearance: He used to be tall, but ever since his "transformation", he is now slightly smaller then the size of a average human.

His ears are pointed and shaped more of a cats, his eyes are somewat sensitive to light, and of course, he has a tail.

He can jump higher then any normal human could, and has hooked catlike fingernails and pawlike hands.

He has almost a fur like coating on him, not enough that you cant easily make out his skin, but enought that you can see spot-like formations on it.

He doesn't walk on all fours often, but will at night if stalking his "midnight snack". Your Username: Zyrnix: UNIT 560 Your RPG Name: Ryan Willis Species: A.

Sapiens Faction: Fighter Animal Base: Albatross Powers for Stage One and Weaknesses: Flying, is pretty strong, and is weak against water Personality: Being an A.

Sapien of an albatross, he is usually very strong and fast, but hates the rain, any form of water, and humans for mutating him.

Usually very clever. Backstory: A common person in Toronto, ON, till he heard of the experiments of the scientists.

He overheard a couple of scientists talking about them when they first created HPS.

He didn't hear them talk about how they kill the subjects after the experiment, and decided (as any person would) to act like a beggar, and was soon taken in to experiment on.

The experiment turned out fine.

However, he was shocked when he realized that they were going to kill him after the experiment.

When no one was in the room with him he ran away to seek his revenge against the humans.

Four months later he found out about the A.

Sapiens retaliating against humans and decided to join them. Appearance: Ryan's skin is fair, he has long and spiky black hair, usually wears this type of biker coat and jeans, has feathers going from his arms to waist, sorta like the way a bats wings are, and talons at the end of his fingers.

He also has a beak, and feathers on his head, back, and arms. Your Username: Half-Dragon Your RPG Name: James Carpenter Species: Animalia Sapiens Faction: Anti-Human Animal Base: Stag Beetle Powers and weaknesses for Stage Five: Both James powers and weaknesses manifest themselves only when his body morphs to resemble his base.

Under the effects of a full morph, James four arms and mandibles gain the power to crush any but the strongest and most solid of materials without fear of damage, his compact eyes allow him to see even the most minute details on any surface, his chitin becomes dense enough to actually repel low-caliber bullets, though this is less effective on direct hits, his antennae can pick up scents from miles away and discern their every component, and his wings become strong and quick enough to carry massive loads alongside his own weight, as well as propelling him through the air with simply astonishing speed and agility. Personality: James loathes the scientists who did this to him before he even had a chance at humanity.

From all he's been told, he was robbed of his right to a human life before he was even born, and though he's never actually been human, it sounds to him like he's been missing out, so he naturally envies humans...

And that envy breeds jealousy, and eventually full-blown hatred.

James seems to have an odd taste for rotten foods (mostly plant matter or fungi, but occasionally old meat as well) and dark, dank holes in the ground. Backstory: One of the scientists' earlier attempts was to modify an unborn human embryo.

This turned out to produce particularly strong results - a file found shortly after the revolution on Roetia even claimed that the subject was expected to develop a second pair of arms by the age of ten, though this didnt actually happen until recently.

Though only thirteen at the time, James was one of the first to leave for human shores on this path of conquest, loathing not only those who stole his humanity, but all those who still bask in it.

Now out of jealousy as much as a desire for revenge, James intends to see human society fall to its knees...

Along with anyone who would stand by it. Appearance: When not transformed, James appearance is that of a fifteen-year-old human boy.

Tall, broad-shouldered, bald and with a nearly Egyptian tan, the disguised Roetians face is strikingly handsome, albeit somewhat sharp-featured, and his eyes are lustrous black. When his chitin emerges, it is the same lustrous black as his eyes, sleek but ridged at the edges.

He can become substantially taller, more broadly-muscled and noticeably four-armed at will, as well as gaining mandibles, antennae, a carapace, and various other beetle-esque features.

When transformed fully into a humanoid/beetle he is what many would consider a strong candidate for scariest living creature on the face of the Earth, and quite possibly everywhere else. Your Username: Unit #ToD (or Toa of Dancing) Your RPG Name: Alek Species: Roetian Sapien (Human) Faction: Anti-Human Animal Base: Bald Eagle Powers for Stage Four and Weaknesses: Alek can fly at great speeds, and is extremely strong.

As in, break a bone strong.

Though he can't exactly punch through solid concrete.

To go along with this, the Roetian can also let loose a loud screech that would make ears bleed, if the target is right beside him.

He has chosen the path of Human Roetian. Personality: Slow to anger, wise, but can get amazingly angry at anyone if provoked.

He tends to dislike small, cramped spaces, or places where he can't quickly fly away. Backstory: Very close to being the last Roetian created before the rebellion.

Alek is about nineteen, though he was quite young when he was captured.

Seeing as he was an orphan baby, not much is known to have happened before.

But he hates most humans.

Although this is true, the Roetian does give most beings, human or otherwise, another chance at life.

Unless he hates them. Appearance: Alek is a giant, being twelve feet tall.

He has talons on both his giant hands and feet.

The Roetian's legs are about five feet long, while his arms, now the only part of his body covered with short feathers, make a ten foot wingspan.

His skin is dark brown mostly, but it does get slightly brighter in some places. Your Username: Maru Nui: Fire Incarnate Your RPG Name: Theodore "Scythe" William Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: Neutral Animal Base: Sphyrna Mokarran - Great Hammerhead Base 2 Powers and Weaknesses: Enhanced senses of smell, hearing, and sight, which makes him sensitive to light and sound;

The ability to detect weak electrical fields, like those present in living organisms.

Once he reaches a very high level, nothing will escape his attention.

He has superior strength, especially of the jaw, and maneuverability in the water.

He is less water dependent: he still needs to stay damp, but he just needs a glass of water instead of full-body immersion to stustain himself.

He can breath underwater indefinitely.

His skeleton will gradually become cartilage, meaning that while his bones will have more rebound to them, they are more easily broken.

His skin is becoming more like sandpaper, more rough and damaging to those who rub against it. Personality: In a word, Scythe is crazy.

He possesses no self restraint or sense of humanity, and, with his newfound powers, intends to rip his victims apart with his teeth, sometimes eating their raw flesh to sustain him.

He has no morals, dignity, or honor, and is willing to do anything it takes to get what he wants.

His shark side has eliminated most of his emotions, except for fury, hate, lust, revenge, the strange sadistic pleasure he gets at killing and sarcasm for some odd reason.

In ordinary conversation, he is just as likely to A.) verbally abuse you until you break down, or B.) kill you.

Which he is in the mood to do is unpredictable, and you probably dont want to stick around to find out.

He is incredibly intelligent, due to his upbringing and his parents obsession with perfection, and can easily tell when something is flawed in another persons logic.

He is meticulous and tends toward romantic irony in his actions, a combination of his senses of revenge and sarcasm.

He has a thing for teenage girls, in that he particularly enjoys killing them;

It gives him a strange feeling of empowerment knowing that he has destroyed all of that potential life.

If I were to give you a piece of advice if you encounter him it would be: dont. Backstory: Theodore William was raised by very controlling parents in southern Las Vegas, Nevada, and due to mental problems he had was branded a freak in high school.

He developed crushes on several girls over the course of his high school career, and stalked each for a number of months before developing a new obsession.

When one of the girls filed a complaint to the police a fortnight before graduation, his parents were informed, and due to their intolerance of his actions, threatened to disown him.

At this, his already fragile mind snapped, and he brutally killed both of his parents.

For over a year he proceeded to kidnap and viciously murder each of the crushes he had had in high school and several other teenage girls before he was apprehended.

During his incarceration he developed the nickname Scythe, a reference to the fact that he was called the "instrument of Death" by his fellow prisoners.

He spent a year in a federal penitentiary before he was moved to an insane asylum after killing all of his cellmates.

He was held there, unable to kill anyone for another year before he was selected for the Roetia program.

When he was shipped to the Pacific, the scientists had no idea of his criminal background, and assigned him to be given hamster DNA.

A year in the asylum had somewhat tempered his bloodlust, and he began listening to the idle chatter of the workers and attendants.

He pieced together what the program was, and realized that he didn't want to be part hamster.

It so happened that the patient in the bed next to his was scheduled to be given shark DNA, something that he very much wanted, so Scythe strangled him with his own IV.

When the aides found the asphyxiated body they couldn't figure out what had happened, but assumed that it had been an accident (due to the patient having seizures from a faulty strain of the chemical).

But the head scientists wanted to continue the shark treatments, and decided to use the next patient over, Scythe, for the treatment.

So he was given the DNA, and later revolted with the others.

But upon arriving on the mainland, he was shunned for his murderous ways.

He has made his way south along the coast and is about to resume his killing spree. Appearance: Has sharpened teeth;

A slight bulge in the front of his head pushing his eyes further apart, increasing his field of view, but slightly messing with his depth perception, is offset by his mouth retreating back.

His skin has become an olive-brown color, his fingers and toes are slightly webbed, and he has a dorsal fin. Your Username: Akaku: Master of Flight Youre RPG Name: Steven Johnson Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: Roetian Animal Base: Crotalus oreganus helleri (Southern Pacific rattlesnake) Powers for Stage One/Weaknesses: Has fangs and can inject poison (only makes his enemies drowsy) into one when bitten by him, but he has poor eyesight. Personality:He will usually try to avoid attacking or getting into a battle with someone, but he will not hold back if provoked.

He can be quiet at times, and sometimes a little too cautious. Backstory: Steven used to be a designer of vehicles, and at one point worked for Ryale Industries.

The headquarters was destroyed with its founder from a tragic incident involving a prototype vertical take off jet plane and the propane storage tanks.

He temporarily tried to keep the company intact, but after more then a month it went bankrupt.

A little while later, the Scientists offered him a new job at a tech lab if he would take some tests for them, and the rest is kind of obvious.

(Hates the Scientists, joined the Roetians, etc.) Appearance: A used to be sharp dressed man;

His tuxedo tattered and ripped at various spots, sharply trimmed black hair, and he has a cracked pair of expensive rectangular glasses.

The glasses are the only thing that lets him see farther then 20 feet clearly, and he treasures them for that.

His skin looks scaly, his eyes are a little small and have wide pupils, and his canine teeth resemble fangs.

He is very tall, being seven feet tall, (just over two meters) and has a slightly long neck. Excellent swimmer, can climb nearly any vertical surface, can shoot hard, gastric pellets out of his mouth after eating that are larger than a fist and covered in mucus (The real animals can't actually shoot it out like a projectile, but spiders can't shoot acid from their fingers either.

If they had fingers), can't choke when something is shoved down throat (thanks to a tube under the tongue), teeth and claws are now razor sharp, and can navigate in the dark with a new sense. Personality: He craves meat, no matter what state it's in.

He is very protective of his ideas and beliefs, but can get very violent if someone persecutes these, or make him too angry. Backstory: He grew up loving animals with his friend Mark.

As they got older, they stayed friends through high school, but Roy went into sciences while Mark went into sports.

Think Reed Richards and Ben Grimm.

The two friends somehow got word of the experiments, and were all too willing to volunteer.

Roy picked his favorite animal, the komodo dragon, and was outstanded by the results.

He understood why the scientists shipped them off to the island, even though he was a bit frusturated, but was shocked when they started to kill them off.

He and Mark later escaped to San Fransisco, and have been there ever since.

Roy dreams of being a politician and trying to stop the war. Appearance: Has a head almost exactly like a komodo dragon, but with matted, brown hair, and normal eyes.

The two friends somehow got word of the experiments, and were all too willing to volunteer.

Mark picked a dinosaur that was a big, powerful carnivore, but he didn't want one too big, so he chose the allosaurus.

When they shipped them off to the island he was very frusturated, and when they started killing them, he was furious.

He hated the scientists.

He and Roy later escaped to San Fransisco, and have been there ever since.

Mark yearns to go to Seattle and fight, but he won't leave without his friend. Appearance: Larger than most humans, has a big head with ridges and sharp teeth, and reptilian eyes.

When around normal humans, goes by the name 'Franky' Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: The most important;

Me, myself and I Animal Base: Jaguar Powers for Stage One And Weaknesses: Enhanced speed and strength, slightly enhanced senses;

His enhanced senses can backfire at very loud noises and putrid smells, and his animal side is very pronounced, making it almost impossible for him to surrender in battle or stop fighting, even if there's a possibility he'll die. Personality: On the outside he can seem laidback and slightly irreverent, but his scruffy exterior hides a brutal, impulsive, excessively violent personality and a lethally short temper.

Jagger, as he likes to be called by friends, is blunt, rude, sarcastic, witty, and quite sadistic, revealing a psychotic and slightly disturbing grin whenever he becomes excited.

However, he has some sense of honor, and will not even attempt to fight a foe that is already injured.

He fights mostly on instinct, and is angered at opponents who try to defeat him on logic alone, seeing it as them weakening themselves.

Also, he reacts in a very violent manner if anyone, friend or foe, interrupts a fight, seeing it the same as a rival stealing his prey.

Finally, he will not tolerate anyone looking down on him, if he thinks this has happened, he will almost always try to attack that person. Backstory: Jaggerjack's only childhood possession is a knife made from a shard of red rock;

He still has this red rock, kept on a necklace around his neck, though it's useless in battle.

He grew up with nothing, and spent his childhood and most of his early adulthood without so much as a name. However, one day, Jaggerjack was trying to safely eat a scorpion, when the ground was suddenly rocked by a huge explosion.

Jaggerjack ran to see what it was, and saw a man with long, braided hair of a shocking crimson, emerging from a burning building.

The man had been spliced with the DNA of a lion, and had just obliderated his confines and escaped into the desert.

This man, Flint, coming to Jaggerjack from even deeper in the darkness, took the young man under his wing.

The two made their way to the nearest town, where they lived relatively normal lives as room mates. When he was twenty-eight, Jaggerjack donated his body to science, in a most unexpected way;

He chose to be spliced with the DNA of a big cat, namely the jaguar.

After hundreds of hours of DNA splicing, and hundreds more of physical rehabilitation, Jaggerjack was a new man, more fit than he had ever been, and with the intoxicating feeling of muscles rippling with the slightest flex.

He tested his powers by mauling a scientist who had rehabilitated him, and escaped back to the town in Nevada, where he became a fighter for hire.

He also assembled a group of misfits, delinquents and general ne'er-do-wells, named the Franky Family. Appearance: Sharp features;

Electric blue eyes;

Rather spikey hair is done up in a style similar to a mullet, and is a shocking, bright blue, a side effect of the gene splicing;

Your Username: Rockhound Your RPG Name: Moira Widow Species: Animalian Sapien Faction: Personal Animal Base: Mesothelae (Prehistoric strain related to Megarachnae) Powers for Stage Two and Weaknesses: Increased speed and agility.

Complex webs. Ability to climb walls/ceiling and remain there.

Poisoned fangs (paralyzing toxin) that can release up to three or four doses per hour.

Claws that can extend (up to four inches) or retract at will that share the same claws as the web glands and the acidic emitters.

Sensitive to large amounts of light and loud noises. Personality: Moira is a follow-the-leader type who, because of her background and type, will take the directives of another rather than make her own choices.

Recently, though she is starting to develop a self-awareness as both her matriarchal base and personal maturity are synching together to give her more of a sense of self than she has had.

She enjoys cruel behavior and injuring others because that is how she learned entertainment out on the streets.

Any conscience that was once there is now complete and utter history. Backstory: Moira is a Sapien who was an orphan who followed along with one of the worst gangs in the Seattle area, just another of the cogs in the wheel that ground them around the streets, following the orders of first one person and then another whenever they wished something done.

When she was picked up by the government agents from Juvi, serving time for petty theft and being party to third-person murder, they offered her a choice: rot in jail or go with them and be free after only a few tests.

Obviously, she went with option two.

They injected her with the gene and then she vanished, manipulating her way out of the area and stealing away on the first possible craft away from there with her newfound powers and has fled home again to Seattle, coming to grips with her new self. Appearance: Long brown hair and dark brown eyes.

She has miniature hairs that coat her entire body, allowing her to climb walls and stick to surfaces as well as small web glands that have been transplanted from their usual areas to her fingertips instead, and they work alongside her clawed fingernails.

Further like a spider, she has fangs that hang down as her incisors, which are poisoned with a nerve toxin that can and will paralyze upon entering the nerve system.

She usually wears dark colors that help her blend into the background of wherever she is at the time. Username: Silver-Silver RPG Name: Rob Lucci Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: Himself Animal Base: African Leopard Powers and Weaknesses for Stage One: Dangerous claws;

Enhanced speed and strength;

Enhanced sense of smell;

Easily gives into animalistic urges, and sense of smell can backfire at putrid smells. Personality: At times, he is malicious...At times, he is benevolent...At times, he is beastly...At times, he is saintly.

Lucci has a unique problem: When he was spliced with leopard DNA, instead of a physical side-effect like markings or changes in hair color, Lucci was afflicted by a mental side effect, splitting his mind into two distinct personalities.

His first personality, White Rob, is kind and suave.

However, his second personality, Black Lucci, is more intertwined with his animal DNA, and thus usually takes over when Lucci fights.

His Black personality is sadistic and cruel, killing without a thought and living to cause others pain, and believes that if any situation gets him involved, then it will inevitably mean blood.

Black Lucci also believes weakness is a sin, and despises those that show weakness in any situation.

His traits that carry over into both sides are almost perpetual calmness, a fierce protectiveness over his subordinates, and his tendency to smile when he is faced with almost certain death.

Also, he is followed by his pet pigeon, Hattori, who usually rides on his shoulder or flies high up when Lucci is in battle. Backstory: Lucci's tale is a unique one.

He was once a normal man, living with a friend of his in a small Italian villa his parents had left to him.

However, one faithful day, he became afflicted by a terrible disease that sapped his strength and left him unable to speak.

Lucci was terrified by the prospect of death, and almost went insane from feelings of powerlessness and inadequacy.

Finally, his friend was able to form a contract with the government of Italy: In return for being cured, Lucci would be spliced with the DNA of a leopard to create a supersoldier.

Lucci accepted. Lucci was placed as head of a squad in Cipher Pol, an organization in the shadow of Interpol that dealt with assassinations of Roetians and scientifically-enhanced criminals.

He lead them successfully through several missions, though his Black personality began to abuse his license to kill by murdering innocent civilians to satisfy his bloodlust.

However, after one botched mission and a falsified report, Lucci was kicked out of Cipher Pol and dumped in North America.

Lucci decided that he would carry out the Last Mission, the one he had failed at, to try and justify his existence: The assassination of the Jaguar Roetian Jaggerjack. Appearance: Well-muscled man of mixed Italian and Portugese descent, Italian being more prominent;

Shoulder length, wavy black hair, which Lucci usually ties back when relaxing;

A neatly shaved goatee;

Usual clothes are a black business suit, a crisp white undershirt with a black spiral design, dress shoes, a short tophat and a white tie, as well as a yellow furlined coat when travelling;

On upper forearms, chest and back are several leopard spots, and his claws are dangerously sharp;

Also has a very long leopard tail, useful for balance and for whipping and ensnaring foes. Username: Silver-Silver RPG Name: Halibel Species: Animalia Sapien Faction: Prefers not to take a specific side Animal Base: Great White Shark Powers for Stage One and Weaknesses: Several sharp teeth, slightly sharper than Jaggerjack's;

Enhanced speed and strength, but tends to become less accurate when fighting full-power;

Has slightly stronger skin than usual, not able to block bullets or anything, but able to cause her punches to hurt even more;

However this also makes her more susceptible to getting too hot;

Finally, she is able to sense a person's heartbeat from a few feet away, allowing her to sense someone tailing her closely or if they are distressed. Personality: Halibel is almost a polar opposite to Jaggerjack.

Where Jagger is loud, angry, obstinate and boisterous, Halibel is quiet, peaceful, polite and reserved.

She has been known to show concern for even enemy humans, and prefers not to fight.

However, she will fight when challenged or ordered to attack by a superior, and when others have been wrongfully brought into her battles, she has a tendency to violently assault her opponents.

She has a keen intellect, and can quickly deduce an enemy's fighting style and find a way to counter it.

Halibel can also be slightly morbid, finding vicious animals like alligators as 'cute' and suggesting she would eat allies if starving. Backstory: Halibel's past is an unknown, even to herself.

She was raised in the same lab as Grimmjow had been spliced in since childhood, secretly being taught how to read and write and to do mathematics by a kindly woman who worked there.

However, when the woman was found out, she was cast out of the lab, and Halibel had the date for her first splicing bumped up to when she turned thirteen. As she grew up, Halibel never lost hope for her future.

Then, when Jaggerjack killed a scientist and escaped, this kickstarted Halibel's will to live, and she killed her own guard to escape herself.

Ever since then, she has followed Jaggerjack, looking out for his wellbeing and occasionally doing what she can to help him, from stealing keys and leaving them in front of locked doors to killing guards before he gets to a target so that he has a better chance. Appearance: Dark skin;

Emerald green eyes;

Spikey blonde hair with three braids at the back;

A beautiful figure;

Her canines are incredibly prominent, able to be seen even when she has her mouth closed;

A white jacket with vents at her sides, an unusually high collar that hides her neck and lower face, keeping others from seeing her tattoo and fangs, and a zipper that opens upward from the bottom;

A white kneelength skirt and knee-height boots;

The boots have vents at her calves;

Ugly hands with skin that looks like it's covered in grey scabbing, a result of her tough skin rapidly evolving on her hands alone, which she hides with skintight black gloves;

Bulky ridges on her forearms under her jacket's sleeves, similar to a shark's dorsal fin;

Has two lightning bolt-shaped black marks on her cheeks, a side effect of her experimentation like Jaggerjack's blue hair;

A gothic black '3' tattooed on her neck, signifying that she was the third to be spliced in the lab. Your Username: Skrilax Your RPG Name: Tatiana Lockwell Species: Roetian Sapien Faction: Fighter Animal Base: Crown of Thorns Starfish (Acanthaster planci) Powers for Stage One: Somewhat better night vision.

Her body spines contain a neurotoxin capable of temporarily stunning an adult human for a few minutes, but only if applied directly into the human spinal cord, and even then it is slow acting.

Therefore it is best used before a fight, because during a fast fight it wouldn't do much good.

Most significant is her ability to regenerate a lost limb fully, but the time to regenerate can increase exponentially depending on the lost tissue (For example, regenerating her triceps would take 6 times the amount of time than a hand, her entire arm, 10 times.) This also varies with energy expenditure and intake, if she eats less and is more active, a limb will take even longer to regenerate.

She has an insatiable appetite, but a very effective metabolism keeps her in peak physical condition despite the fact that she can eat enough food to satisfy an entire family. Weaknesses: Slightly weaker skeleton, very nocturnal, so she can be nearly immovable during the daytime when she sleeps like a dead rock.

She is always hungry, no matter how hard she tries not to think about it.

This can lead to overlooking of details when her mind is elsewhere.

When she goes without food for several days, she sometimes goes into a zombie-like state, during which she would go to great lengths to obtain the smallest bit of food, and her higher cognitive functions are less active. Personality: Tatiana is somewhat reclusive, preferring to keep to herself if at all possible.

However, when thrown into a serious fight, she fights like a berserker, and will do anything to come out alive.

She has a sense of honour though, and if she's dealing in a mock fight, she'll still use anything in her power to win, except going out of the boundaries of fairness to her opponent. Backstory: Tatiana grew up in Toronto, Ontario.

She often displayed an outgoing personality (thought this would change when she became a Roetian), and was generally a kind person.

She is quite active and doesn't like to sit still for a while.

Her parents separated when she was 6 years old, her mother abandoning her family, so Tatiana and her brother grew up with their father.

Life was good, but she grieved for the loss of her mother on the inside.

Living in a rough neighbourhood, she took lessons on the martial arts and self defence, becoming a prodigy, and even now as a Roetian Sapien uses those skills as expertly as a ninja.

However, she had an accident one day, slipping on ice down a hill in a local park, knocking her unconscious.

The scientists conveniently found her, and took her away for experimentation.

At current time she's 14 years old, but has the fighting skills of a veteran. Appearance: She is of Spanish descent, with slightly tanned skin, brown eyes and black hair, those those features can be overshadowed by her Roetian traits.

Large, extremely hard and durable spines protrude from some areas of her body.

3 rows line her arms from her shoulders down to her wrists, most of the large spines facing outwards to avoid skewering herself.

Another two lines of spines flow down from her hips to her ankles.

All of them are very sharp, and very durable, if swung at the right angle can slice (or simply smash) even a wooden bar three inches thick with one slice. Username: Necro RPG Name: Alina Risan Species: Roetian Faction: Fighters Animal Base: Leopard Powers for Stage Two and Weaknesses: Powers;

Enhanced senses(Particularly sight in all aspects to the point various details most would miss are easily visible to her), the ability to control her fall, and speed.

Weaknesses: Quick to anger, and somewhat of a glutton and as such will go out of her way in order to accomplish the same thing and get a meal even if merely accomplishing the task would be much easier.

Eyes are light sensitive, to the point that on days with highly bright sunlight, going out without something along the lines of sunglasses will temporarily blind her. Personality: Doesn't tend to speak much more than needed when doing much of anything involving much concentration, and has a bit of a violent personality in the sense that she can be calm one moment, friendly the next, and viciously enraged the next.

Generally rather personable though.

Due to the manner in which she was brought into the experiment, she becomes incredibly violent with anyone involved in the experiment except for the man who helped her escape. Backstory: Caged as an experiment from a young age, after two or three years, another pair of young girls were captured, and, being as they were siblings and therefore had more similar genetic structures than any non-related beings would to Alina, and as such one could be used as a backup for another, were similarly made into members of the Felidae biological family, and Alina was scheduled to be euthanised.

A man in the employ of the scientists took pity on the young girl set to death however, and worked against his employers, stealing a small boat from one of the docks used to get from the island to the mainland and various basic supplies for her, and smuggled her out, whereupon the boat drifted to a California shore one night, after which, upon seeing humans who didn't bear the same animalistic features she did, she isolated herself from human society for the most part, only visiting at night to steal food and books, the latter one of her greater joys. Appearance: About 5'11 in height, medium-long light black hair tied back behind her head, blue eyes which have gained a resemblance more to a cat's than a human's, a two or three foot tail hanging down from her lower back, a pair of Leopard-esque ears on the top of her head(Similarly, the ears on the side of her head are no longer there), a set of four or six whiskers protruding from the center of her face symmetrically, leopard-like spots dotting her skin, and hands that are a bit more of a hybrid between hands and claws than actual hands.

As far as her outfit goes, though it varies, generally she wears a black or gray shirt under a dark red vest, with either a faded pair of jeans or tan shorts, depending on the temperature of the location.

Will get a picture up as soon as I can. Homo Animalia Sapiens Username: Kagha Character Name: Stefan Rosenburg Species: Homo Animalia Sapien Faction: Neutral Animal Base: Antrozous Pallidus ( Pallid Bat ) Powers for Stage One And Weaknesses: Powers: Echolocation, enhanced eyesight/hearing/smell, slight flight knowledge.

Weakness: Sensitive eyes/hearing Personality: Stefan is quiet, calm, and observant.

He doesn't talk much, and is quite narrow-minded, being strict on his point of view and not listening to others.

He has a hot temper that he keeps in check, and especially hates it when people shout, because of his sensitive hearing -- another reason he doesn't like to talk.

He is, however, loyal and intelligent.

He is cautious and usually stays away from crowds. Backstory: Stefan had never wanted to be a Sapien, even though he had secretly wondered what it would be like to fly, but after armed men came to recruit his brother Jake, he wound up being taken in his place.

While he was drugged, he was asked what kind of animal he wanted.

In his daze, he chose a bat, and wound up being blended with a Pallid Bat.

Since his escape, he tried to find his family but never succeeded.

He lives in San Diego, hiding in canyons and between buildings during the day and using sunglasses and headphones to keep his sensitive hearing and vision in check. Appearance: Being a Bat Sapien, Stefan's arms are now wings.

He has extremely long fingers with membrane between them stretching all the way to his legs.

However, he hides this by folding his wings and hiding the super-long fingers and membrane under clothes.

Since his fingers are so long, he no longer has proper hands, and uses his new "thumbs" to do everything he'd use his hands to do. ...

He is tall, with a dark tan skin tone and long, straight black hair.

He dresses in black most of the time and sometimes wears sunglasses to shield his light-sensitive eyes when going out in daylight.

His eyes, originally a deep brown, are now sheer black;

But that's only noticeable if one looks really close. Username: Unit #TOA, call me ToA Your RPG Name: Leo Mumbaya Species: HAS Faction: Haven't decided Animal Base: African lion Powers for Stage One and Weaknesses: Better senses (Night vision, etc.), stronger, faster, can take more hits, more agile, stealthier.

Weakness: Long-range attacks. Personality: Kind, playful, lazy. Backstory: Was kidnapped in Afica and subjected to expiriments. Appearance: Brown skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes.

He has a tail and claws. Your Username: Crimson Jester Your RPG Name: Sergeant Phineas 'Finny' Sagan Species: Homo Animalia Sapien Faction: ? Animal Base: Velociraptor mongoliensis;

Velociraptor Powers: High levels of endurance/agility Personality: Phineas suffers from a rather peculiar variant of bipolar disorder.

On one side, he's a loyal, outgoing, and friendly, and on the other, violent, ruthless, cold, and brutally efficient. Backstory: Sgt.

Sagan, a 5-year military veteran, and recently-appointed black ops member, volunteered to take part in the experiments, under the guise that he'd be testing a new healing drug for future combat use.

Upon his realization of what actually occurred, Phineas drastically changed his views on the scientists, resulting in several dead, and a court martial.

After being discharged, Phineas left for San Diego.

He's made it a life task to hunt and kill scientists for a sense of personal redemption. Appearance: Official military stats list Phineas as 6'1", 193lbs.

He maintains an extremely athletic physique, adorned with military-issue combat gear.

Sgt. Sagan has fair skin, ice blue slit-pupiled eyes, and a short-cropped brown mohawk.

Evidence of his transformation include large, sickle-like claws protruding from his mid-forearms, sharp, angled teeth, and two-toed clawed feet. Username: Bundalings Your RPG Name: Ethan Bays Species: HAS Faction: ? Animal Base: Sciurus carolinensis (Eastern grey squirrel) Powers for Stage One: Good climber and jumper, and he's really quick.

Heightened senses. Weaknesses: Not very strong. Personality: Hyper, annoying and obnoxious at times.

Sometimes it takes a while for him to catch on to a situation, despite the fact that his brain runs in overdrive 24/7. Backstory: When the scientists told the world about their chemical, Ethan was one of the ones who actually wanted to be mutated.

Though he really didn't have a squirrel in mind...

At least it's better than a dugong.

He's nineteen. Appearance: He has a bushy tail, proportionate for a human.

Squirrel ears on top of his head (replacing human ears).

Also large incisors.

All his hair is grey with bits of red, and the hair on his head is medium/average length and kinda messy.

His eyes are grey-green.

He wears jeans and a brown t shirt.

He's kind of average in other respects, but he keeps fit in his constant climbing. Your Username: Chronicler of Ko-Koro Your RPG Name: Tara Walsh Species: Homo Animalia Sapien Animal Base: Arctic Fox Powers for Stage Two: Enhanced speed and agility;

Can detect scents from a distance. Personality: Quiet, nervous, solitary.

Is fearful of others and tries to avoid them. Backstory: After she was subjected to the experiments, Tara went to see her family, hoping they would be understanding of her situation.

However, she was surprised to discover the were horrified at what she'd become, calling her a freak and a monster, and telling her to leave and never come back.

Using what little money she had, Tara attempted to get somewhere where people like her would be accepted, but quickly ran out of funds and is struggling to make ends meet. Appearance: Her eyes are brown, and her hair is primarily colored white, with the occasional streak of brown (her hair shifts from mostly white to mostly brown depending on the time of year).

Her ears are long and pointed, and covered in white fur similar to her hair.

Her teeth have small fangs, and she has a tail covered in white fur.

She is dressed in the only pair of clothing she owns: a navy blue t-shirt, a charcoal gray skirt (having had far too much trouble getting her tail to fit comfortably into anything else), and a pair of brown boots. Profiles List continued on next Inferna Post. This post has been edited by Inferna Firesword : Sep 18 2009, 10:47 PM

OOC: I don't know how you saved those profiles, but THANK YOU! A single droplet of water, Can make waves to shake the mountains.

Character Profiles (continued) Homo Plantae Sapiens Username: Inferna Firesword Character Name: Fleur Athanasius Species: Homo Plantae Sapiens Fraction: Pro-Scientist Base: Water Hemlock Stage 4 Powers/Weaknesses: Along with her physical changes by becoming stronger, her blood and skin has become impregnated with cicutoxin, the chemical in her base that makes them poisonous.

While it doesn't kill a target (only incapitates them for about ten minutes), it's more than enough to take a person out of a fight.

At this stage, she can spread the stuff on her own through her saliva and by using her sharp fingernails to inject cicutoxin into her target.

As well, a person can to bite her or find another way to get her blood/skin into their bodies for the poison to work.

She also can detect when her poison is being used: it creates a sweet taste in her mouth when it's being generated, and it becomes bitter and burning when it take effect.

However, she can't donate blood, or get anything injected into her -- the poison will interfere with the other person's system, or destroy the foreign substance. Appearance: A plantinum-blonde girl with pale, somewhat pasty skin.

Her eyes are a watered-down green, and her hands have an image of rungs on her hands, reminiscent of her base plant.

She speaks with a slight French accent. Personality: Fleur is fast-moving and impatient.

While she fights for the Scientists, she doesnt like being ordered around, and sometimes wont obey them just to be stubborn.

She is somewhat lazy, considering her treatment when she was being changed, and thinks that shes privileged to something more than the life of a common solider.

She also has a quick temper.

Slightly anti-social. Bio: Fleur was one of the refined (and volantary) experiments, and was treated with respect considering that her base is considered the most poisonous plant in North America and she might become a powerful fighter someday.

She misses that, but she puts it aside when shes hip-deep in a fight with the A.

Sapiens. She is eager to reach the power level that her creators went on about during her transformation so she can reach her full potential and get the treatment she had gotten used to years before.

Fleur is nineteen years old. Your Username: Unit#TOA Your RPG Name: Aaron Wilson Species: HPS Faction: Haven't Decided Plant Base: Smilax Powers for Stage Two and Weaknesses: Gets stronger in sunlight. Personality: Angry at the scientists, but a good friend. Backstory: He chose to become one, but he thought it would just give him powers, not make him unhuman.

He hates the scientists for what they've done.

Had a few friends who were also HPS, but they were killed by anti-sapiens. Appearance: Olive skin, green, thready hair, green eyes. Username: Kagha Character Name: Zachary "Zack" Kendriks Species: Homo Plantae Sapien Faction: Anti-Human Animal/Plant Base: Dionea Muscipula ( Venus Flytrap ) Stage Two Powers/Weaknesses: Solar-fueled fighting power boost Personality: Zack is outgoing, lighthearted, and audacious.

He's sarcastic and takes pleasure in misleading and pranking others, even though sometimes he may take it overboard.

He talks a lot and sometimes says things that normally one wouldn't say if respecting the bounds of manners.

He is protective of nature, but not so much as to join the Plantae Supremacists.

His reason is that "Right now, a few trees here and a few flowers there are gonna get crushed.

In the future though, when all the lunacy has gone - or at least, y'know, is in hiding - then I could think about that". Backstory: Zack lived with foster parents for most of his life, but by the time he reached age sixteen, they kicked him out of their lives.

Zack is currently twenty. He wasn't necessarily against the idea of Sapiens when the Scientists finally pulled the cat out of the box.

He believed that the riots around the nation was going a bit too far, and having North America shut off was extremely overboard.

He believed that -- heck, if people wanted to be Sapiens, let them be Sapiens!

It's their choice, it's not affecting anyone else besides in their own stereotypical feelings. However, he was surprised when the Scientists rose to such power, and he wasn't for it.

Just 'cause they made the darn chemical, didn't mean they could take over the nation and then go and have it shut off from the rest of the world.

It was preposterous!

Zack is against the Scientists for being able to harness such power, and is against Anti-Sapiens, for the same previously stated reasons. In the brief civil war that broke out, Zack was caught in the middle of a riot, but wasn't killed.

He had been totally helpless and trampled on almost to the extent of serious injuries, and was shocked.

When the Scientists took him in, they had told him that they could make him able to defend himself, provide for himself, and fit in with the rest of the world.

He agreed, but that was partly because he was still in shock. They changed him into a Homo Plantae Sapien, and then threw him back out into the streets.

He didn't hate them for changing them, in fact he found his change interesting, but he still resents them having so much power. Appearance: Zack is a tall, fit male with a face that obviously tells he smiles and laughs much, and short brown hair with stains of green in it.

He has brown eyes with tinges of red at the iris edges;

Only noticeable, however, if you look closely or if light reflects from them. Spiny cilia line the top parts of his arms on the outer sides, and subtle streaks of green go down his biceps and forearms.

Smaller versions of the cilia surround his hands and fingers in sparse formations, and tiny hairs are noticeable on his palms.

The spiny cilia are also on the sides of his ribs and his thighs.

What looks like leaf-like venation lines his hands and slightly up his forearms. Your Username: Toa of Dancing Your RPG Name: Desiam Species: HPS Faction: Plantae Supremists Animal Base: Wild Strawberry Powers for Stage Three and Weaknesses: Becomes immensly powerful in sunlight/in constant contact with water.

Desiam's Thick hair can also crow at will, acting as thorny whips. Personality: She jumps onto anyone who even gets close to destroying nature.

She also likes to bask in the sun and drink a lot of water.

Des is quite outspoken, but can be shy at times. Backstory: See was about in her late forties when caught, she was a homeless beggar.

No one, not even her, knows much except that she was placed onto the streets at eighteen.

Though nobody knows, she took up a life of crime soon after this. Appearance: She's tall, thin, and has a brownish-green skin color.

Desiam's stawberry blonde hair, which is normally thick and matted, is also has many thorns in it.

She also has green fingernails that are pointed like thorns, though she can retract these. Your Username: Bundalings Your RPG Name: Taya Species: HPS Faction: ? Plant Base: Lenma minor (Common duckweed) Powers for Stage Two: Increased power in sunlight. Weaknesses: Herbivore based sapiens, the cold, serious lack of humidity. Personality: On the surface she is your average little girl, but when she feels threatened she enters rage mode.

In this state of mind she will do all she can to overcome, and often her mere tenacity will allow her to overcome more powerful foes.

It's theorized that some sort of trauma at a young age made her so defensive.

She doesn't even know what happens while she is in this raging fury, which can last from moments to days. She loves being in charge, and she often finds other females (with a few exceptions, normally those she looks up to) to be great threats.

She gets on much better with guys, since, for some reason, she is not intimidated by them.

Sometimes she gets on a little too well with them, leading to awkward relationships.

The awkwardness usually stems from the fact that they can't tell how old she is and that part of her memory seems to be blocked off, even from herself.

In her rage mode she calls herself "Otaya," though it is unknown why. Backstory: She never knew any parents, but was in a foster home for a while...

Until something occurred that upset her.

When she snapped out of her fury she found herself in a ruined house with the foster parents being sent to the hospital.

She still says she doesn't know what happened that day, but whether that's true or not remains to be seen.

She's been trying to gain control of Otaya, with limited success. Appearance: At first glance she looks young, maybe in her pre- or early teens, but there's something strange about her.

Sometimes, especially when she's wrathful, she looks much older and more intimidating.

She's quite small, regardless of age, though when she's angry she can be surprisingly strong.

Pale skin, curiously green eyes (like, Lego green), and her hair, which is totally straight and longer than her shoulders, is a vibrant orange.

The duckweed, which at first glance seems to be merely intwined in her hair, is actually growing from her head.

She usually wears a knee-length dress, the kind that has a strap over each shoulder and a white yellow around it's middle, is the same shade of vibrant green as her eyes.

She is always barefoot. Your Username: The Kexicutioner (going to change in a couple of days) Your RPG Name: Corilan Species: Homo Plantae Sapien Faction: Anti-Human Animal Base: Poison Ivy Powers for Stage One and Weaknesses: Grows stronger in the sun, but will shrink back from heat and cold. Personality: Extremely serious, if you cross Corilan you probably won't wake up in the morning.

Is prone to temper tantrums which usually involve somebody getting hurt.

Feels uneasy around others. Backstory: He was an outcast, having attacked a man for stealing his plants, then he was found by the scientists roaming the Midwest.

He got amnesia due to early test mistakes, and doesn't remember anything before that. Appearance: Lanky and tall, with lime-green eyes.

Not extremely abnormal, save the red-and-green hair and permanent leaf behind his ear. Humans Your Username: Dr.

Outbreak Your RPG Name: John L.

Luke Species: Human Faction: Mercenary Personality: Cold for the most part, he's always snapping at people. Backstory: After seeing his parents die, he quickly came to hate Roetains and all to do with them.

As a child, he studied all forms of attack and defence, becoming a black belt in jujitsu and selfdefence be the time he was twenty.

Then he decided to become a mercenary, working for anyone who'd pay him.

Though he has never gotten over his hate of Roetains, and even some of the higher level Roetains shake when they hear his name.

A little, at least. Appearance: Dark gold hair accented by yellowish green eyes, clean shaven and has five scars on his face. Your Username: Toa of Dancing Your RPG Name: Vince Viceno Valen Species: Human Faction: The Superioris Personality: Silent.

Mainly secluded. Hates Sapiens, thinks Roetians are the worst things ever. Backstory: He used to fight for the scientists, loving Sapiens and disliking The Superioris.

Of course, that was drastically changed when his legs were cut off by a group of Sapiens when he was on a mission and they turned on him.

Once he got prosthetic legs and learned how to use them to walk almost silently, he became an assassin of The Superioris. He loves to use throwing knives and daggers for sneak attacks.

He also enjoys lashing out seemingly out of nowhere with trap throws or sticky tape and pulling the Sapien to him and stabbing them.

Or enough throwing a vapor or smoke bomb at an enemy and then killing them.

To go along with being an assassin, he has trained himself to be physically fit, and he has exceptional eyesight. Some people, if they see him, call him "Triple V" or "Black V" or some variation of that name. Appearance: Lean, wears a skin-tight black suit that includes a full-head mask, gloves, and sound-killing "shoes." Prosthetic legs are black, his skin is a tan, but he uses walnut stain to make it darker.

His teeth are white as snow, and his eyes are a bright green, both of which he hides with a mask.

His prosthetic legs make him able to run really fast, and he can jump to amazing heights, like five five stories.

He can also jump from the top of a really tall building and not get more than a sore hip.

If he lands on his legs. That will make the process to get you approved slower, and we all want you playing fast.

Just follow this, and you'll be fine. Don't pick a plant or animal that is already being used in the faction you are going to play in.

For example, you can't play as a Cheetah Roetian if there is a Cheetah Roetian already.

However, you can play as HAS Cheetah if there isn't one already. Do us a favor and keep the backtory to a minimum.

It takes up a lot of space in the posts that I need for other profiles, so don't make it too descriptive. Once you're on the list, you're ready to play! This post has been edited by Inferna Firesword : Sep 12 2009, 01:53 PM

OOC:And so, the fun begins again. Hey!

This is just a recap of the things that have happened thus far in KG.

(Well, the major things anyway.) San Diego- Julia Moer, the unfortunate teenager, meets up with Stefan (a HAS) and Phineas (another HAS) on walking home from gymnastics.

Following an unfortunate encounter with three angry Superioris accusing them of viciously killing a corpse on the streets, Julia goes home to find out that her entire neighborhood (as well as her family) has been slaughtered (clawed by the looks of it) and arranged horribly in the words "Sapien".

Due to the extremely unlikely situation of a human or Roetian committing the act, it has prematurely blamed on the Sapiens.

Julia, in a state of shock, was taken to the hospital.

During this time, Phineas got into an unfortunate mix up with a cop, killing the cop in the process.

Thus, it was concluded that Phineas had committed the act.

He and Stefan are now on the run and trying to contact Julia, whom had left the hospital in the morning and traveled to her home.

Inside, she opened a safe from her late father and found some containers with some liquid and some boxes, along with money.

Taking the money, she traveled to the airport, planning to go to a certain destination in mind.... New Roetia and Anchorage- Lolli meets up with Noah, and they both travel across the channel to the nearby Queen Charlotte's island.

There, they get ambushed by a mysterious (and huge) creature and wake up dazed in the city of Anchorage.

Meanwhile, another meeting is being held in the same city, and the order is given out to take Lolli and capture/kill Noah.

Two other Roetians in Anchorage (Alek and James) come across Lolli and Noah.

After the initial chit-chat, Lolli was ambushed and kidnapped by a seemingly powerful Roetian, and the same Roetian gives the order to the two Roetians to take out Noah, who was currently elsewhere.

Alek then went out to fight Noah. Seattle- Lauren and Jake meet Vert, the commander of the Seattle forces.

They are given the tour in the Grounded Pin (the Roetian base in Seattle), and they meet the two Roetians Joel and Ryan.

After capturing Alex, the unfortunate human stumbling in upon the Grounded Pin, they witness Alex making an escape attempt.

Here, Alex manages to escape, while they find another human, Andrew, who claims to be on the Roetian's side.

The whole group then goes out for the daily killings of humans.

However, John, another human, meets up with Seth, the human leader in the Space Needle, who gives John a special capturing device in the shape of a black marble.

John, with his motorcycle, goes out and captures Lauren, barely escaping with his life.

The group of Roetians (and Andrew) then chase after John, who narrowly gets away with his capture.

Andrew, wishing to rescue Lauren, sneaks into the Space Needle in hopes of finding Lauren.

Meanwhile, the other Roetians (Ryan, Joel, Vert, Jake, and the new arrival Jonathan-the falcon Roetian) are all ambushed by humans patrolling the area.

Jake kills off his counterpart while hauling off the unconscious Alex (who had been left behind), while Jonathan, Joel, and Ryan are still involved in their own fights.

In another area of Seattle, a shark Roetian named Theordore (dubbed Scythe) interrogates a fellow Roetian for news of recent happenings.

Seth, in the Space Needle, is instructed to bring down Lauren to the bottom of the Space Needle, where scientific research was held. Portland- Mazzy meets Zack, Fleur, and Aaron after they fight off the attacking Roetian Veritas (who then flew to Seattle).

After fighting off another attack by three Roetians, they retire for the night.

However, in the morning, in a fit of rage after Zack accidentally ruined plantlife after being attacked by an insane-for-the-moment Taya, he was attacked by Desiam.

The fight was finally stopped, and all three went to the hospital, in which Taya and Desiam apologized.

Zack then exit the hospital, and went out into the streets, where he was invited into a sparring match by Aaron, with Fleur as a bystander. Frost and San Francisco- Lor meets Ethan, who suggests that they exit the city (initially only wanting to go alone.) Lor hears this and agrees, and Lor leads Ethan to the only transport hub (even though she technically attacked a Sapien operator in the process).

They arrive in San Francisco, in which they are given strange looks by all the people (who have heard of the murders in San Diego.) Lor then quickly walks up to a strange duck-shaped house, and knocks on the door;

Ethan in tow. Sacramento- Leo encounters Taka, who had been fighting with another Roetian.

The two become friends, and then are attacked by two leopard Roetians.

Soon after, Taka was killed by a car.

(Randomly.) Leo is now taking on two Roetians at once. By the way, there is also NPC development in Tijuana, so don't be afraid to stop there as well.

Don't be afraid to start in a city without any characters, you may be starting something so that others will join you.

Besides, with the transport hubs, you will be able to access interaction quickly (as the transport hubs offer instantaneous transportation.) This post has been edited by Hewkiinuva : Mar 19 2009, 11:30 PM

IC: -Zack Portland, OR Zack would feel his body start to exhaust slightly, and then the heat of the sunlight beat down on him and a sudden rejuvenation ran through his veins.

It didn't do much to dull the pain, but it did make him feel ...

Stronger. Sort of.

In an abstract kind of way;

It was one of those things that you could experience with your own senses but are unable to explain in words. .

. . Across the field was his sparring opponent, Aaron, fellow plantae sapien, fellow protector of Portland, and now the subject of a personal grudge of Zack's.

So calm and confident through the entire spar...

His cool demeanor kind of made Zack want to hit him.

But Zack had long past learned to suppress his anger. .

. . Sitting as a spectator not far away, much to Zack's discomfort, was Fleur, also fellow plantae sapien and protector of Portland.

She was always quiet and very irritating, and Zack normally found that amusing.

Lately though, her anti-social behavior was starting to set him on edge. .

. . Zack breathed in slowly through his nostrils and then expelled the air in an unhurried huff through his mouth.

He stood there, stiff, for a moment, staring at Aaron.

The plantae was staring at him.

Both seemed to be doing the same thing: waiting for the other to make the next move.

Zack began to ponder on how he could use this to his advantage, but knew not to waste precious time in which Aaron could catch him off-guard. .

. . Finally, he sprung, stopping himself midway in his lunge, waiting a moment, and then springing again.

The point was to mess up with Aaron's timing of response, therefore making him falter for the most crucial of moments.

Zack flung himself into the air and aimed a crescent kick towards his opponents head. -Stefan San Diego, CA Stefan and his recent partner, dino-sapien Phineas, walked down the streets of San Diego, the gleaming hospital to their backs.

The brisk morning air was damp around Stefan, and despite the occasional flocks and crowds of people, it was quite quiet.

Cars zipped past.

People were engaged in hushed conversations.

All in all, it seemed like a normal morning.

But behind the thick shades that were used to shield the bat-sapien's light sensitive eyes from the intense sunlight, Stefan was frowning.

Things weren't good.

Things weren't normal.

Beyond the deceitful air that hung over San Diego, somewhere out in the city, squads of cops were having uncontrollable fits of cussing and getting angry over the incident that had happened last night.

Police were probably already on the lookout for a Homo Animalia Sapien by the description of Phineas, the man beside him, as a convict, and also Stefan, who had been unexpected caught in a mix-up with a group of cops.

Somewhere in the city was Julia, doing who-knows-what now that she was released from the hospital. .

. . Stefan let out a sigh and turned to look at Phineas.

"So," he asked the inevitable question, "What do we do now?" OOC: No IC for Noah, as I'm going to let ToD go ahead first since technically it's his turn in the fight. -Kagha This post has been edited by Kagha : Mar 19 2009, 11:49 PM

IMPORTANT NOTE: As interaction is a must-have in this RPG, naturally there needs to be NPC people that go along with this.

Thus please notify the following if you need interaction/battle.

Sometimes, interactions in the form of battle will randomly appear, and sometimes you may need to ask for it. NPC Staff for battles/other interaction: Rorschach/Crimson Jester/CJ Hewkiinuva (me)

IC: Phineas Sagan San Diego, California "We'll check out the only other location we're sure of," Phineas replied, an assuring tone enveloping his voice.

"If that doesn't work out, we'll have to skip town;

Look for a place that'll take us."

IC: -Stefan San Diego, CA Stefan nodded.

Stupid question, it was, because they'd already established the plan before leaving and Stefan had done well to remember it.

But he just needed to be reminded, and maybe even reassured.

"We should get there quick," he suggested.

"If Julia is out on her own again, she could leave before we arrive." -Kagha

OOC: That helps. Interaction has been pretty slow in Anchorage, 'specially after Noah ran off.

James and Lolli (that name still sounds wierd to me) have pretty much run out of topics of conversation... {H-D}

Ooc:? why are most of the locations strike-through'd? EDIT: nevermind, i didnt read the notices at first --Ak This post has been edited by Akaku:Master of Flight : Mar 20 2009, 11:32 AM

OOC: Alright, here we go. IC: Seattle, WA Jonathan was the Peregrine Falcon Roetian of Seattle, something he was quite proud of.

No one else here in this broken city had the speed, flying abilities, and sight that he did.

So, when he got into this aerial fight with a human with a jet pack, he thought this would be an easy win. No such luck. As he dove in a crazy death spiral towards the human, he idly wondered how it felt to be in free fall, without the means to save yourself, like he had.

The human, once he defeated him, would get this experience first-hand. IC: Portland, OR This was life. Sitting beneath a tree with the sun striking her face and fueling her, the day peaceful, and a sparring session going on a few meters in front of her -- yep, Fleur had to admit, this was pretty good, seconded only by fighting with a Roetian.

She wondered if she needed to cheer on the guys in front of her, and began to remember what cheers had been used at her school's pep rallies. IC: Seattle, WA Life really sucked now. Lauren wondered why she even bothered living these days.

Running away from her family, only to get turned into a half-human person and her best friend killed by the Scientists.

Now, she was in the hands of her enemies, destined for who-knew-what, and she knew for a fact there would be no rescue team for her;

She wasn't important enough for that.

She felt really, really bleak now, like she wanted to lie down in her grave any time now. IC: Seattle, WA There were two signs on the door of Mark Stone, Homo Animalia Sapien and weapon designer.

The first said, in formal lettering and presentation: Dr.

Mark Stone, Black Howler Monkey HAS, Leader of Seattle HAS .

The other said in bold handwriting: No, I don't like bananas! Mark couldn't stand bananas;

Heck, he was allergic to them!

Not to mention that he couldn't stand people who assumed he did just because his animal base was a monkey.

He sighed, running his fingers through his abnormally black hair.

Sometimes, this atmosphere of being the leader of the other Homo Animalia Sapiens got on his nerves, since some people didn't take him seriously. A knock on the door jolted him out of his thoughts, and his prehensile tail plucked his pen off of his ear.

"Come in," he called, wondering if someone had caught a Roetian with that marble stasis field he had given Seth earlier. OOC: I'm going to assume that John has hauled Lauren down to Mark's place downstairs.

(BTW, Humva, I still need the profile for John.) -Inferna, Guardian Mistress This post has been edited by Inferna Firesword : Mar 20 2009, 05:53 PM

OOC: uh, HN, could you post what bobber did last exactly? all i remember is that ryan was about to attack him, and i was leaping at him from behind. oh, and if anyone could let me know when andrew can find lauren or whatnot, let me know please. --ak

OOC: OK, when I left off, I had just tackled the toad roetian into the water.

HN, do you know the various level stats at this point?

Or do we have to start over?

Either way, I'm continuing the fight in Puget Sound. IC: The splash into the water was only mildly disorienting to Scythe's human side, countered by the sudden pleasure from his shark side.

But the mixed feelings were almost immediately ended by the toad's punch to his abdomen.

It would've winded him, causing him to drown if he were human, it simply hurt now that he was part-shark.

That wasn't much of a consolation.

That he really had a sense of consoling anymore. He kicked backwards, away from the toad, and pulled off a few maneuvers that quickly put distance between them.

A few strokes and a number of quick blows against the amphibians thick hide revealed that Scythe was much more speedy than the froggish roetian, an advantage he was willing to exploit. He connected several kicks to the back and arms before he was grabbed by the ankle.

But Scythe kicked out, smashing his heel into the toad's nose, causing him to let go and hold his nose, releasing a stream of blood-red bubbles. Blood.

The red seemed to affect his whole mind, his vision, and now he was no longer responsible for what happened next.

Good, he thought with a savage grin. OOC: The toad's as good as dead, so I get a level up, right? Cheers, ~ ~

OOC: Oh, a pity. I was hoping for an RPG reboot.

Can I kill one of my characters and replace him?

XD = IC / Ethan / San Fransisco / Freaky Duck Abode = Ethan trotted after Lor, as bouncy looking as his squirrel base.

Directly after arriving in this city he had found his coat to be obnoxiously warm, so it was now removed from his personage, safely tucked under his arm.

The temperature was...

Nice. He'd been living in artic conditions for so long he'd forgotten what it was like to be not-cold when not wearing his giant puffy coat. Presently, they arrived at a bizarre statue.

Or building. Ethan couldn't tell at first.

He identified the door just as Lor approached it and used the knocker to summon whatever crazy being lived in this strange...

Or building. Ethan couldn't tell at first.

He identified the door just as Lor approached it and used the knocker to summon whatever crazy being lived in this strange...

House. OOC:Which one in question particularly? IC: San Francisco, CA Lor took a deep breath before she finally went to knock on the door.

Walking up, she lifted one browned fist and rapped the door sharply twice.

Slowly, the door opened...and before them sat a short, plump, teenager with a brown buzzcut and fat lips.

The teen looked shocked for a moment, and then smiled in amazement. IC: San Francisco, CA "Lor!

It's been so long since I've seen you!

How're things?" The boy burst out with speech. IC: San Francisco, CA Lor hesitated before answering. "I'm doing fine....," Lor smiled rather fixedly. "Vor." IC: San Diego Trans-Port Julia walked in among the bustling crowds of the Trans-Port (the name for a large gathering of transport hubs to all kinds of locations), looking for the way to a certain city: San Francisco...

The city echoed in her mind.

She had heard tons of things about it before, and she knew all of things that had spouted from it.

Besides, her father had gone there many times as well. She finally spotted the flashing green sign dictating the lining up for the hub to San Francisco.

Flinging a few bills into the money collector besides the hub, she walked in and took a seat away from the majority of the people in the huge hub.

Julia couldn't help but notice the eerie absence of any Sapiens. As she waited, she tapped her fingers on the side of her seat impatiently.

Any time now, she thought.

Finally, the voice came over the intercom: "Please sit down in your seats and prepare to be teleported.

In case of an emergency, like..." the voice continued to list all of the things that might happen, and what one should do as a reaction.

Julia hardly listened;

She had heard it all before.

Her thoughts returned to her mission on hand. Her mind scoffed at her, What mission?

To find the murderers?

That would be impossible.

Julia tried to ignore the nagging voice, but she just didn't know what else to think about.

What could she do?

She was starting to regret leaving the two other Sapiens behind in the first place.

She was just about to almost try to leave the hub when she realized that the whole hub was darkening.... Zap "We have safely arrived in San Francisco.

Please wait 5 minutes for exiting the hub.

The local time is 10:00 AM .

We hope you enjoy your stay." Julia sighed.

So much for trying to leave. This post has been edited by Hewkiinuva : Mar 20 2009, 11:39 PM

OOC: Until Humva IC's John, I'll breifly control him.

Here's hoping he doesn't mind, but I'm tired of not playing this. IC: Seattle, WA Lauren was forced forward through the door that her captor opened before her.

She might've rebeled -- she had a feeling that she did not want to find out who was behind that door -- but the fact everything except her head was frozen in stasis kinda made that complicated. Inside was a large, office-like room, with various things cluttering the desk that occupied the better part of the room.

In a swivel chair before it was a man in his late twenties, obviously a Homo Animalia Sapien judging from the slightly monkey-like features and tail that extended from his rear end.

He was eyeing her like a someone who had just found something interesting in his bag and was determined to study it beneath a microscope. IC: Seattle, WA Mark Stone did his best to hide his excitment.

From the marble attatched to the neck of the girl that John was forcing into his office space, he knew that he had gotten a Roetian from the outside and brought her back alive.

She glowered at him with her gold-amber eyes, the black tear marks on her face marking her as a Cheetah Roetian, and he coolly returned it. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

OOC: Sure Maru Nui, you can finish up the fight now. And Akaku- IC: Bobber threw a needle directly at the incoming Roetian before backing up to create some space.

He expected the Roetian to dodge, and so quickly prepared himself mentally for another charge (by the Roetian.) OOC: I remember that Zyrnix was also part of the battle, but he hasn't shown up yet, so I'll just leave him out (because I don't really remember him attacking?) until he shows up. IC: Bob looked up at the spiraling Roetian towards him, and quickly let loose his third to last barrage of 5 shots of stun gun loads. OOC: Again, by the way guys, my friend found out this really weird manga that is eerily similar to KG!

It's called "+Anima".

Go check it out! This post has been edited by Hewkiinuva : Mar 21 2009, 12:52 AM

IC: Seattle, WA Jonathan was an old hand at dodging stun rounds by now, after getting them stuck in him many times this battle now.

He managed to swerve and avoid them all.

Yeah, that's it. I'll just keep doing this until he runs out of ammo, then take him out.

Then, we go save Lauren, he thought, breifly glancing at the Space Needle, where he knew that the Cheetah Roetian had been taken. OOC: *goes to look up said manga* -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

OOC So... What's going on?

OOC: Basiclly, Jake's dragging Alex off somewhere (he said that he'll be his key for getting Lauren back last version), and John just walked into Mark Stone's office with Lauren in tow. Oh, and Akaku, you may want to have Andrew start looking on the bottom floor, since Lauren is currently there -- but be careful, there's bound to be plenty of guards. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

OOC *Pulls self away of Outbreak III* *Has no clue how Mark Stone is*

OOC: Mark Stone is the leader of the HAS in Seattle, and he designed the marble that John used to capture Lauren.

His description is in the main post. IC: Seattle, WA "What do you have for me, John?" asked the Howler Monkey Sapien, tail setting down his pen as he rose from his seat.

It was obvious what he had, but he liked to be presise. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

IC(Seattle, Washington) "A nice little half-Human for you," he said, dropping the Roetain to the floor.

IC: Seattle, WA "Hmm .

. . nice job," said Mark absently, bending down and grasping her chin to get a better look at her. IC: Seattle, WA Lauren tried to yank her head out of the grasp of the person that looked too much like a Scientist for her liking, but his hold was firm.

She hissed at him, amber eyes narrowing. (OOC: Just as a note, I put Lauren back in the stasis thing most of the way, so only her head can move.) IC: Seattle, WA "Fiesty, isn't she?" Mark muttered more to himself that John, though it was loud enough to be heard by the human. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

OOC: Anything in particular happening in Anchorage, or should I consider finding the nearest transport outta there? {H-D}

OOC: @HN: Whoa. I just Wiki-ed it, and it seems creepily similar to Gaeabionta...

O_O Also, I believe Bundalings is talking about Terran. @H-D: Lolli got snatched and Noah and Alek are away, fighting, so James is on his own.

However, I don't think that Anchorage has any more usable transports, after it was conquered by the Roetians. No IC 'til ToA, ToD, and Rorshach get here. -Kagha This post has been edited by Kagha : Mar 21 2009, 09:43 AM

OOC: Ah, kay. IC: Andrew Casually whistling as he was walking down a hallway were he came up to a sign: "Restricted access, Authorized personal only" Well well well, what do we have here?

No doubt this is probably the place...

Opening the door as if he had a thousand times before, he went down the hallway so steadily that the people watching through security cameras would think he's just one of the few permitted to be there.

Of coarse, I'm gonna need a disguise...

He thought. OOC: Uh HN?

Joel came from behind the guard, not in front... --Akaku: Master of Flight This post has been edited by Akaku:Master of Flight : Mar 21 2009, 10:21 AM

OOC: So, I get a level up right? IC: Scythe climbed out of the bay, picking bits of roetian flesh out of his teeth, thinking very little of the nearly skeletonized corpse drifted slowly to the bottom of Puget Sound. So, there's humans holed up in the Space Needle?

And the Roetians are trying to kill them, a sentiment I can get behind, but someone is bound to recognize me, considering the shake-up I caused back in New Roetia, he thought with a grin, Still, quite an opportunity to throw a wrench into the works, one I intend to take. At that he set off towards to the Space Needle. OOC: Scythe will try to stay out of sight, especially from Vert.

Edited to fit. He'll kill any humans he sees.

The "shake-up" he made was that he killed a couple of Roetians: a couple of teenage girls, one a poodle the other a canary.

He was run out of the city.

But, HN, if you don't want that to be the case, I can change it. Cheers, ~ ~ This post has been edited by Maru Nui-Fire Incarnate : Mar 21 2009, 01:26 PM

OOC: If that's the case, I think I'll keep my cheetah away from Scythe.

(She's eighteen and rather attractive.) IC: Seattle, WA With a bit of help from John (only a bit;

He was stronger, after all), Mark hefted the Roetian onto the examination table and lay her on her back.

"You can go now, John," Dr.

Stone said, a clear dismissal in his voice. OOC: I'll be gone for a bit. EDIT: Forget the nineteen part;

That's Fleur's age.

Lauren's eighteen.

(Though I'll keep my Hemlock girl away from him, too.) -Inferna, Guardian Mistress This post has been edited by Inferna Firesword : Mar 21 2009, 01:09 PM

Quote: OOC: If that's the case, I think I'll keep my cheetah away from Scythe.

(She's nineteen and rather attractive.) OOC S re, we'll go with that.

OOC: That is a very good idea, cuz that's really a prime target for him, as I mentioned in his personality.

And, also, evil/crazy=fun character. So do I get a stage-up, HN?

And what do I need to do for that? Cheers, ~ ~

OOC: Akaku- What guard.

O-o OH. You mean the fighter dude.

Well, just pretend that Joel went in front so that it'll be more exciting than - Joel: RAWR Bob: ZOMFISH huh -runs- Joel: RAWR Bob: ZOMFISH huh -runs- /end exaggeration Maru- Just send your level two powers to Inferna, and she'll decide if they're okay or too powerful.

Oh, but Vert was never in New Roetia.

O_o; IC: Bob sighed.

Wow. Then, he took out his nuclear missile and shot it. He continued to shoot another load of stun missiles. OOC: Yeah, so I'm getting uncreative.

So sue me. Kay, H-D?

I'm going to control James so that he has something to do. Plexyr continued to carry the unmoving sack of Roetian that was on his back.

"Huh, ya know? I figured that this Roetian would put up much more of a fight;

Like maybe actually hurt me or something.

Else, I really don't know what use we have of this-" He suddenly turned around, staring intently into the darkness. "Okay, you can come out now," he said finally, dropping his sack. From the darkness emerged a four-armed Roetian;

Plexyr suspected it was some kind of beetle-base. "Why are you following me?" He said finally. IC:A screen emerged in front of Andrew in the hallway.

"Excuse me, but I do believe that you are in the wrong area," a face emerged from the screen.

The face was oddly pixelated.

"I don't recognize you as one of my masters." OOC: LET'S HAVE SOME FUN AKAKU! This post has been edited by Hewkiinuva : Mar 21 2009, 01:05 PM

OOC: Really? I thought all the Roetians who escaped from Roetia were there right at the beginning.

I changed it to fit better. I'll send Inferna my new powers before I do an IC. Cheers, ~ ~

OOC: *sigh* Controlling John.

Again. IC: Seattle, WA John left quickly;

Even though he disliked Roetians, it was obvious he didn't want to stick around for what he might be doing.

Dr. Stone turned away from the girl and began hunting through his meger supplies.

Before he had gotten holed up in the Space Needle, he had managed to get some medicine from the hospitals there, in case he got the opprotunity to study a Roetian or someone here needed work.

One of the things he had stocked up on were anesthetics. After finding and getting the proper doseage so she would stay under for four hours, he began to walk over to inject it. IC: Seattle, WA "What are you doing?" Lauren asked nervously, eyes never leaving the needle. IC: Seattle, WA "I'm just knocking you out for a few hours until I can decide what we should do with you," Mark replied as he began to sanatize a area of her skin.

"I've been waiting for someone to test on for a while now, and we might need that marble again," he added, yanking off the black object as he spoke. The girl went for his throat, but he grabbed her neck with one hand and forced her down again roughly, holding the needle in his tail as he injected. She went limp, and her eyes closed as she fell asleep.

She looked much more peaceful as her breathing slowed, but just as a precaution, Mark tied her arms and legs down with leather straps.

He then left to get some equipment for further study, carefully locking the door behind him. IC: Seattle, WA Jonathan managed to dodge them all but one, which got stuck in his foot like an earlier one.

Hissing, he yanked out the round with one of his hands, then continued to fly around the human, waiting for him to run out of ammo. OOC: HN, can we hurry up and end this?

It's been over ten posts, counting the ones from the old topic. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress

OOC: NEVAH. jk. Sure.

But like, they're called Stun loads for a reason....>>;; IC:Bob reached for his last load when he realized something was wrong.

The rocket pack on his back began to falter, bursting in and out with bursts of gas. "Oh...shoot." Bob began to zoom this way and that in the air, unable to control himself as he rocketed haphazardly towards a building. Bob screamed as he went nearer and nearer towards his death. " HHH-" Bam.

OOC: Having spent much time mulling it over, I've decided I have absolutely no idea what I can do now.

Nobody around and no way to go anywhere else...

James is bored. And just when life was getting interesting, too. ...Any ideaz? {H-D}

OOC: Sorry, too lazy to look at them.

'Sides, Jonathan's gonna feel woozy later as comphensation. IC: Seattle, WA Jonathan blinked as he saw the human go "BOOM" against the building wall.

That was not something he had ever seen in his life.

Still, at least there was one less human for him to take care of. He suddenly felt rather ill, like he had overeaten on sweets or something, and quickly flew to the top of a nearby building, lighting down on it.

He slumped against a random block of cement that was there, feeling dizzy now that his rush of adrenaline was wearing off. OOC: Jonathan's gonna be out of it for a bit, and Lauren is currently in a drugged sleep. And H-D, look at the first of HN's most recent post;

He just gave James something to do. -Inferna, Guardian Mistress This post has been edited by Inferna Firesword : Mar 21 2009, 02:18 PM

OOC: Huh. So there it is.

I have got to learn to keep up with current events. IC: "The girl," James Carpenter replied simply.

"That, and boredom.

Mostly the girl, though.

She showed up here.

Seemed to want something to do with the ones in charge.

Figured it couldn't hurt if she got to see'em.

Why'd you grab her?" As he said this, the Beetle Roetian was also still practising what, due to his limited (read: nonexistent) knowledge of Latin, he would continue to refer to as ambidextry even if it did involve four arms so there.

He felt it was important he learn to utilize all his limbs simultaneously.

His instincts were helpful at first, but when it came to the use of fingers they were rather dissappointingly useless. {H-D}
