Logitech VX Revolution Wireless Mouse - StompFest Forums

MRSP $69.99 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi...s/165&cl=US,EN got it at a local walmart for $40 but this mouse fits gaming and even my mapping very well. PROS: it is a 7 button (but including the zoom and secondary middle it is a 10 button) it fits very well in the palm because of its shape...

Ummm the wheel has a "mircogear" so when i am mapping there wheel is basically friction less, and when i am playing a game it can still click like a regular wheel. There are battery lights on it (which is always great) and it is usb 2.4 ghz wireless.

The usb stick is pretty small and has a dock in the mouse. it is laser (so no red light, and very good sensitivty) CONS: could have the thumb buttons a little further up so u didnt have to use the side of ur thumb to press them. the zoom chould be a little further back on the mouse. SCORE: 9/10 imo a very good wireless mouse

May be changed so it is correct

Speaking as someone who currently owns a MX Revolution, don't get it for gaming.

It would flake out all of the time and it would really piss me off when gaming, so I use it only for general purposes such as net browsing on my other comp.

Is the VX just the wireless version of the MX?

Idk anything about the MX edit- nm looking that the MX it is wireless..

So this is just a step down from that?

Idk.. and what do u mean flake?

The VX is intended for notebook use, so ya it seems to be a compact version of the MX revolution.

Never-the-less though they are both wireless products by logitech. By flake I mean 1 of 2 things happens alot. 1: I lose connectivity completely for 3+ seconds. 2: My connectivity flickers for like 4 seconds, meaning I may move my mouse, and my guy in game would fuck up.

If you get my drift. I never noticed it really when desktop browsing, but in game it pissed me off.

I use a wireless Logitech laser mouse and I have never had problems with connectivity.

Perhaps your mouse was to far from the wireless receiver or you just had some bad batteries.

Same for me. My VX nano works great.

Although I like the VX Revolution, i might get it if my nano dies early.

Does that exact same mouse come wired?

I can't stand wireless mice for gaming anymore.

Http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mi...s/187&cl=us,en that was the closest wired mouse I could find from Logitech.

I can't stand wireless mice for gaming anymore. I love the Logitech G9 , currently on Amazon for $40 ($65-$25 rebate).

It's $75 on newegg so Amazon has it $10 less even without the rebate.

Oh, and free shipping. Be warned though the G9 is made for people who hold/move the mouse with the tips of their fingers.

Which I personally do particularly in games so I love mine.

If you rest your palm on the mouse though you may not find it comfortable and should chek out the G5 .

Http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ga...ards/&cl=us,en If you look at logitech's gaming gear area, there is a reason every mouse with the exception of 1 is wired.

Wireless signals are unreliable.

The G7 also has a large USB cord for the battery/wireless receiver, so you the wireless signal is like...what 5'' avg?
