nudist beaches on Rhodes - Rhodes Town Message Board - TripAdvisor

I'm going to Lindos on Rhodes in a few weeks and wondered if anyone has been to a nudist beach on Rhodes?

Where it is and what's it like?

The official nudist beach is @ Faliraki.

My wife & i have been using it for 14 years.

There is a taverna on the beach.

Maria & her mum do very good food.

Hi Thanks for letting me know - we'll take a trip and check it out. thanks

Hi much better is Tsambika - the far end of the beach is nudist. I am afraid that the nudist beach in Falaraki is populated by perves, and also gay men who enjoy walking around in a "proud" state.

Nudism is about enjoying the freedom of having no clothes, and not displaying yourself like a peacock in a sexual way Tsambika on the otherhand is much smaller and peaceful, more relaxed.

There is a bus from Rodos each day at 8.40, returning at 4pm

To Davidand Hannah.

On what do you base your views about Faliraki .

How often did you visit & when ?

Yes like most beaches there is a gay section.

That is at one end , & they do NOT parade elsewhere on the beach.

Any bad behavour is severly dealt with by the beach staff.

My wife plus other female & male friends are quite happy to use this beach.

Re comments about Falaraki nudist beach, I can only report what I saw.

To be fair, maybe we only saw the Gay section, but this certainly put us off, and we didnt hang around for long. Maybe we should give the beach at Falaraki another go, as we are returning in September. Many thanks for your response. NB Tsambika is still a fantastic beach, our favourite beach which has access by public transport

To Davidandhannah thank you for your comments, the beach you mentioned sounds very nice and we may also give that one a try.

I do agree with you about going to a nudist beach being all about the freedom and being at one with nature - nothing to do with parading yourself so I hope the beach at Falaraki isn't too much like that.

Thanks again.

Just a word of caution for anybody thinking of a bit of nude sunbathing after reading this.

Some years ago a friend of ours (yes really it wasn't us!) finally plucked up the courage on the last day of his holiday.

He ended up with a badly sunburnt posterior - and an extremely uncomfortable 24 hour coach journey back from the South of France. I'm not saying don't do it if you want to, but use plenty of sunlotion on those parts that never normally see the sun.
