You get instant traffic....also use social bookmarking sites.
They will surely provide you with some traffic.thumbs up

Beyond having good content and doing basic SEO, you need lots of backlinks.
Posting on forums, doing press releases, adding it to directories, making sure your RSS is distributed, blog commenting, etc.
Are all good ways to increase traffic.
