i have period pain(cramping) but no period, its 4 days late, can i be pregnant - Maternal & Child - MedHelp
I am a mother of 3 beautiful children aged 12,9 and 7.
My partner and i have been trying for another for about 5 months but to no avail.
My period is 4 days late but i have period cramping, is this normal.

I had cramps identical to menstrual ones right around the time my period was due.
My period was late, so I took a test, and it was positive!
I've heard that a lot of people have menstrual type cramps in early pregnancy.
You should take a test, and good luck!

I had cramps too before I tested BFP.
I even got two negatives at first, but I just knew I was pregnant.
So I waited a few days and tested again and got two BFP.
I was also trying for 5months as well then I got pregnant.

The first time i was pregnant, i could have sworn my period was on, i was late by like 5 days and from the day it was dud till about a week later i thought i was gona get my period.
I would check and everything.

I have one child and am ttc.
With my first pregnancy (she is 4 yrs now), I experienced period cramps and period symptoms.
I swear I ran to the bathroom every five minutes trying to see if I was bleeding.
I am about 3 days late right now.
I am experiencing the same cramping and pulsating in my lower abdomen as before, however my baby fever has caused me late periods before.
I have learned that if I ignore this and think of it as my period coming, I won't get too excited.
However, I haven't had pain like tis in my breast except when I was preggo.

I took a test last night at 19 dpo.
I had a BFP! I took one again this morning and again BFP.
The symptoms you are feeling could very well be pregnancy.
You just have to wait a few more days and take a First Response Early Detection test.

im 17 and in the exact position i have been getting the cramps like period im 5 days late and then every 2 minutes running to the bathroom with a tampon in my hand, to yet again find out it is not there.
Both me and my boyfriend DO NOT want to get an abortion .
if i am pregnant, im just going to tell my mum straight, she was in this postion once she should understand , and if she dosent its her loss, il be gaining a little angel, and yes it will be hard, but if shes going to be negative i dont need her!

Congratulations. I had a misscarrage with my first pregnancy when i was 18 and was un able to concieve natrually and had Ivf and after 4 attempts it worked and had a beautiful baby girl.
When i spoken to the nurse they told me you can have a false negative but never a false positive!!!

I AM 4 DAYS LATE WITH MY PERIOD WAS ON THE 2 MONTH INJECTION FOR 2 YEARS AND GOT OFF IT, WAS OFF THE INJECT FOR A YEAR BEFORE I GOT MY PERIOD AND MY PERIOD WAS QUITE REGULAR SINCE THEN HOWEVER RIGHT NOW i AM 4 DAYS LATE AND HAVE HAD PERIOD LIKE PAINS FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS, I HAVE NOT OTHER SYMPTOMS THOUGH SHOULD I BE WORRIED.

I am 7 days late and I am expericening cramps like menstral.

I am also a couple of days late.
My cycle is usually 24-26 days.
On June 2 I went to have my blood work because I had my first IVF attempt late May and it was negative.
Later on that night I got my period.
I was supposed to get my period again around June 26 through the 28 but nothing yet.
I took a HPT last night and it came out negative.
I feel like my period is coming on because I have been cramping for a couple of days.
Like everyone else I keep running to the bathroom to check frequently but nothing.
I have came out pregnant on my own in the past with one ectopic 4 years ago and 2 miscarriages this year.
My question is can my period be delayed due the failed IVF or can I have came out pregnant on my own and it is just to early to be detected with HPT?
Can someone please help shed some light on this and put my mind at ease?

I am now 20weeks,i found out i was pregnant 8weeks into my pregnancy i had about 5 negative HPT untill it showed i was pregnant.i even went to the docters and had my urine tested twice and it still never showed i was pregnant it wasnt until jus after 8weeks i had positve result.

Hi, keke i have had my tubes tied for 11 1/2 yrs and i have never been late on my periods, but this month i spotted and i have never done that before ever, and i have the frequent bathroom running and i had period like cramps to but i spotted, and had brown fluid it wasnt regular at all,my stomach feels really bloated and i look very prego, my spotting has stopped and im still feeling like im bloated my stomach has not went down yet,there are women on this very site that have babies while their tubes were tied so yes it can happen, i took 2 test they both came back negative but that dont always mean that your not,just hvent been detected yet, my friend was 6 weeks before she found out and she took so many test they all came back negative, but she kept taking them until she found out, so im gonna wait it out until next month and see what happens.

Hi,
i'm 20 years old and engaged and about 2 months ago I took the morning-after pill just to make sure nothing would happen.
Then a few weeks later I recieved my period but it only lasted 2 days and was dark the last day.
I haven't had a period since July 31st when it ended.
I'm nervous and my symptoms are: back pain every now and then, fluttery tummy, headaches just started, bad sharp pains in my right lower abdomen, and period-like cramps.
I went to the doctor in June just to be sure and had a urine and blood pregnancy test and they were both negative so I am just confused.
In all, my pregnancy is 5 days late and i'm waiting....Please help!

Well as you all i am in the same possition apart from for the last 4 months my period has become later abnd later i am usually on the 20th everymioneth like clock work,then four moths ago i was three day late now since then i am 2 days later than the last month if that makes sence,but...this month is differentlast month i came on the 28th which means i should have come on around the 28-30th but 3 aug still nothing!
So if i was to come on when i was really ment to it means i am 2 weeks late technically!
I have got cramps which have been there for about 3-4 days and they hurt when i sit down sorry for being crude but it also husrts my bottom and lower tummy it feels like i have been holding in a fart for hours(sorry ) i have taken test over the last few months and got a neg,i havent done one thins month yet as i no i will prob buy one it will come out neg then ill come on i have been to drs she was no help to me at all!i need help as i am ment to be getting married next yr we wouldnt be unhappy if i was pg,but would prefer to put it on hold!please someone help me

Hi! I am 28yrs old and have been on the pill for 5yrs.
It is my first month off the pill and I was suppose to get my period on the 22nd of Sept.
It feels like I am getting my period....the usual cramps and bloating but no period yet.
My husband and I had intercourse in hopes of getting pregnant and now I am just so excited and hoping not to get my period.
Do you think it is possible or could it be that my body is confused because I have come off the pill?
Does anyone have a similar situation?

Hi my name is stacie i am 24 years old and married i was also in the same position as a lot of you woman i had my last period on august 28th and i was suppose to start my period on September 27th my i normally have my period every 30 days but some times irregular and i was cramping so i thought my period would be comming so i didnt want to waste money getting a pregnancy test just to start my period a few days later so i thought about if for a little while and i remembered my best friend telling me that the dollar tree sold test so i went a picked one up and took it and it came out positive!!!!
So i then went to the doctors office to confirm it and yes im PREGNANT!!!

I am so relieved that I arnt the only person experiencing cramping ane period like pains with a late period.My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 3 months, my period is always on time and is so regular I can almost time it!!
I am now 2 days late but still having the period pains/cramping!
I really dont want to get my hopes up and my husband thinks im going mad as I keep running to the toilet and checking!!

Hi all I am 34 and I got my tubes tied 7 yrs ago my baby will be 9 this month...
My problem is I am having the same symptoms you are and I am freaking out.
I am bloated and cramping and my chest is swolen but not really sore.
I am about 10 days late now and I took one test and it was neg.
I am freaking out because I hear it could be an eptopic preg.
But I'm not sure.
I am pretty regular with my monthly and my oldest girl is about to come on and she usually does right after I go off....
I've been slightly nausea, and very tired but I 've been told with three kids you'll be tired.

I started feeling dizzy spells about a week and a half ago..I should have gotten my period anywhere between 11/4-11/5..
Still nothing .. but i have been having cramping and running to the bathroom...

I cant really remember the exact syptoms (symptoms) I had before I found out I was pregnant, just that I felt like my period was about to arrive but never did.
I tested at a week late and got a positive first time.
Last month my period was 9 days late and I had really bad cramping the days around it was due but these went away and then period arrived a week later.
I was convinced I was pregnant so took about 3 tests all negative.
Now, this month I am 5 days late, I havent had cramping, but more shooting pains in my abdomen, I have also had a cuple of days of severe bloating to the stage where I look like Im pregnant!
Also been really hungry....unlike me.

Hey I just wated to say kudos to us women the stuff we go through.
I'm 24 years olds and since august my period switch up and have been coming every 24-26 days Ive kept track.
I'm not trying to concieve, but afraid we might have.
Before august I had normal cycles every 28 days the only time missed my peroid was when I was pregnant with my daughter.
She is 4 now I had my period Dec1 and jan 3 roles around andI realise I'm not having my period but I had period symptoms 2 days later I found out was pregnant.

An how can i be sure i pregnant coz ive had one positive then one neg!
Ive never been pregnant before so iam really comfused and worried about these period like pains if i am pregnant!
I would really welcome any advice!

Ohhhh hope someone can help me i am 40 years old dont want to be pregnant too old now i have missed my period for 7 weeks on the fourth week i stained just for one day and the last few days my chest been really sore and now the last two days really bad cramps in my legs they are there now i stained like one wee bit on my pants today but hoping when i get up in the morning it will be flying out ...done a pregnancy test last week negative and one the week before it was the same i have not had unpretactive sex as me and my hubby been using condoms but had been at the doctor cause the last few weeks had a very itchy vangina but doctor done all test they all came back normal....but doctor said might be the sign off the menapass cant anyone hepl me cause i feel like im cracking up

Im confussed,me an my partner have been trying for a baby for 3 months an all my Periods have been regular i havent been late till now im 5 days late an im getting all the sign of Period can any1 help me am i pregnant

Hi, I'm so glad I found this website.
It's nice to know there are people out there feeling the same things as me.
My period is 4 days late and I have really bad period cramps but still no period.
I really hope i'm pregnant as my husband and I have been trying for almost 4 years!!
I'm not getting my hopes up a i'm used to my period coming and being disappointed.
I've been having cramps for at least 5 days now and keep running to the bathroom every hour to see if my period has come.
It's a shame some of you on here have not followed up your post with your results.

I'm 16 days late on my period and have had countless negative hpt and 1 neg blood test.
I'm cramping a lot and very very tired.
I've also had some nauseous feelings that go on and off all through out the day.
And my breasts are beginning to get sore.
I'm worried i could still be pregnant.
The doctor said there is still a possibility that i could be judging by my symptoms...
Someone please help.
Any info at all would be helpful

Im so confused. I came off my pill at the start of jan and had my withdrawl period a few days later then a month later on 10th Feb, had another one so was expecting my next one again around the 10th of March.
Exactly around that time I experienced really bad cramps like my period was away to start but nothing was there and this went on for five days.
So basically I felt like for 5 days I had my period but nothing was there.
A week on and still nothing and I have done a test which shows neg.
I have a 2 year old boy and when i was 5 weeks preg with him, a test showed neg and it wasn't till I was 8 weeks that i done another one that showed positive.
Im sooo hoping that this could be the case again as I really want to be preg but still keep feeling like my period is away to start.
I just worry that if im not preg then it will take me a long time to fall preg as i obviously wont have regular periods.
Tests always state they are 97% accurate but i hear so many people say they have had neg results when preg.
I dont want to get my hopes up and be disapointed.

I'm 4 days late and having period like cramps a few times I've had a severe stabbing pain in my ovary area I'm never late unless I'm preggers thing is my tubes are tied I took a hpt yesterday it's negative I've been pretty sick for the last 2 weeks unable to eat much could it be from being sick that I'm late or am I pregnant?
