GameSpot Forums - System Wars - Slim sells 8x's more than 360 in sept JP...
40K PS3 slims sold in september in japan vs.
5k 360's.
thats alot...
i'm wondering if pre-orders of the PS3 FFXIII custom slim was in that total as well?
Also if i buy that FFXIII slim from JP and bring it over here to america, will i be able to play games like normal?
I know they are region free but a friend told me i would run into game censor issues, like games i play would be censored as if i were playing them in Japan.

As long as great games keep coming out for all the systems, I''m happy.
I'm not to worried about sales for any of the consoles, since they have all sold pleny, and are continuing to sell Millions more.

I think the 360's poor peformance in japan is already noted on this board, it's amazing in itself that it has sold AS MUCH as it has to this point.

wii's signifigance, but for the most part, as far as HD wars are concerned, thats right on the money.

LMAO!! The XBox 360 has been outsold in Japan since it launched.
It did outsell the PS3 and Wii a few times after Tales of Vesperia and The Last Remnant got released.
I think your numbers are for 1 week and not the entire month of September.
The PS3 was outsold by the XBox 360 in the U.S., just 4 weeks after the PS3 Slim launched.
