GameSpot Forums - General Games Discussion - WTF Wrath of The Lich King Sword in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Just found out that The Lich King's sword is in X-Men Origins: Wolverine Mission 5 you run in a forrest and on the right you will find a tree that lays on some rock.

If you run up the tree you will find a cave where there is a skeleton with a "!" over and The Lich King's sword.

I think the skeleton is Mauradin (The Dwarf from Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos champaing) Is there anyone who can say me why The Lich King's sword is in X-Men Origins: Wolverine?

I imagine it was thrown just as an Easter egg.

Yes, I stumbled upon this yesterday while playing Wolverine.

I don't personally play WoW but the sword looked familiar. Pretty cool little easter egg.

So is the Hatch from Lost and the cake from Portal.

The developers love throwing little easter eggs into their games.

Easter eggs are always awesome.

Lol yeah that was kool and you get the achievement WoW!
