GameSpot Forums - Off-Topic Discussion - Do you own an MP3 player?
I know there's a lot of threads about IPods and stuff but I just wanted to see if theres a lot of people who don't own MP3 players.
It seems like it's almost a necessity for some people.
I got an IPod nano not too long ago and to be honest don't really use it that much.
Do you own an MP3 player?
If not are you happy without one?

I've seen a few people on here who have them.
Is it essentially an IPod that runs on Windows Media Player?

Now I don't have much experience with iPods, but I have a Zune and personally I think it's great.
Oh, and technically speaking, the Zune runs on the Zune 3.0 software, not WMP.
:P The 3.0 software comes up with random errors every once in a while, that won't let you sync your music if you have a Zune Pass, etc.
It becomes quite annoying.

Overall though, they're pretty decent.

A year or so ago I got my first 2gb mp3 player.
I use it time to time on long walks.

Yeah, I've got an iPod Touch.
It grants me a lot of features that an expensive cellphone would, which allows me to keep a cheap pay-as-you-go cellphone for emergency use.
I keep it just as much for mp3s as I do PDA and gaming purposes, though.

I had a first gen Zune 30 it died on me about 6 months ago...
So as soon as my School money kicks in I am going to buy a Zune HD.

Yes I do but I lost it so I use my psp and my psp is better anyways.
But I don't listen to music on it much though.

I have an ipod nano - I think it is overrated as a mp3 player.
When it dies I don't think I will get another ipod.

I had an iPod Nano 3rd Gen, but accidentally washed it.
Now I use my phone.
I hardly ever listen to music, though.
It's at the bottom of the list of things that entertain me.
