air conditioner = creating headaches? - Web Hosting Talk

Ever since we installed our air conditioner, i have been waking up with a headache. Has anybody else had this problem, or known somebody who has this problem?

Mikey, please don't remind me.

Every time I walk into a room that has a faulty airconditioner, I get a terrible headache. Yes, you read it right.

Faulty. You get headaches not because of the airconditioner itself, but from the filters installed in it.

Some filters are worse than others, you might want to get that checked. I lived in an apartment with a great airconditioner for more than 2 weeks when I was away from home and everything was great.

However, when walking inot a friends' apartment that some different filters, I got a terrible headache. SO you might want to get the filters checked and perhaps changed.

We do have an air purifying mechanism on the air conditioner.

I'll start turning it on.

Same here, we have a central AC unit in our house and when we turned it on for the first time a month ago my sinuses were so congested I felt my head was about to explode.

Lorand I think you're right about the filters, the day after we cleaned the filter my headaches stopped.

Yeah I also get AC related headaches once in a while.

They usually happen when I am standing or sitting directly in the the path of the air comming out of the AC.

Sometymes i get a stuffy nose in a room with AC running,i dont know why

You should probably see a Sinus Specialist

I'm very sensible to such things, so I researched the matter.

Usually happens with new or very used filters.

Get it cleaned or replaced and eveything will be just fine.
