MP3 Player Question/Shopping for MP3 Player - Help Please! - Web Hosting Talk
Hoping someone can help me with these MP3 Players, as I look to buy one tomorrow or Staurday from BestBuy for a long trip.
I saw some expensive players, have a 20GB hard drive.
Some cheaper ones say "256MB or 128MB memory".
Does this mean I can fit 128MB worth of songs on it?
Also, does anyone have an MP3 player to recommend, or know of a company I should avoid, etc.?

Yeah, the 256MB Of memory means you can fit 256MB's of songs onto it.
Should be able to hold about 30 songs.
Whatever you do, stay away from Rio.
The sound quality is horrible and they tend to break quite a bit.

I love my RioVolt (one of the first cd/mp3 players) and it sounds great but i second inogenius - they tend to break
My friend has an iPod...
Very nice. Id say its worth the cost.
If you go for a normal MP3 player, try to get one that is expandable with Compact Flash or SmartMedia cards

Just updating the thread (was in disney world for a week), I bought a Creative Zen Jukebox at BestBuy for $300, holds 20GB of mp3's.
So far everythign has been nice

It's a lot more expensive than some others, though.
The 20GB iPod is $500.
I saw on some other online retailers you can get what I got (nomad jukebox zen) for $250, so for half the price and great quality, bought then zen.
