Being in the US and wanting to travel in Europe, the worst part for me is the long flights from here to there.

That would be quite true, lucky I have not really ran into that problem yet where it actually messed up the trip.
I went to visit my friend in SC last Nov, he told me it was staying in the 40s which wasn't normal for their area.
Although it was cold, it didn't totally mess the trip up.
Back in February we had a city wide blackout, was without power and heat for 3 days with it averaging 20 degrees!
Then during trips to Houston there was a couple days it stormed, but nothing to serious.
Even though it was raining a little the day we planned to visit the Houston Zoo, we grabbed the umbrella's and went anyway!

The worst thing while traveling is the chore of getting through airport security only to have to endure long, cramped hours in cattle class.

The worst thing about traveling for me is that at one point, you'll have to go back home

For me, it's coming back home!
I would travel every day if I could.

In my experience it's been having to come back along with wishing you could've spent a bit more time with a few of the people you met or you could've spent another day in one area to see more of the sites.
A major disappointment of coming home is the food!
Restaurants in Europe generally seem to use far more fresh produce then restaurants in North America.

Probably the easy thing to whine about, I don't have the money to fly to where I'd like to go

I hate airports and I get really antsy on planes.
I wish I could fast forward through flights

I agree with some of the others.
It is coming home again.
Although I do miss some of my family a lot so that makes it ok.
The other thing is long huge ginormous customs lines.
Yuk
