Im not pregnant but I still missed my period? - Yahoo! Answers

Unfortunately, being a female means there are loads of problems and about five times as many answers to your problems.

There are quite a few problems that could be causing this including PCOS and Endomitriosis.

If you've been on the birth control that forces your period back (which is fairly unhealthy in my honest opinion) then your body could just be having a difficult time adjusting to normal periods again. That being said, I think it sounds a lot like Endomitriosis.

I've had this for a few years now and I experience lower abdomen pain (and during ovulation I can easily pinpoint my ovaries because they ache).

I'd suggest seeing a doctor if the pain does not go away within a few days OR if the pain pops up again next month.

Going off birth control usually makes you miss a period.

Although, you might want to try taking another pregnancy test- it's never good to assume just one is correct.

They can be faulty. You mentioned you just moved, so it's likely it could be stress. I'm surprised the military base doesn't have a doctor you could talk to- although I suppose that might be a little awkward?

If you are coming off of birth control this could be your body freaking out about having to start thinking for its self again.

I imagine your body is going to do a lot of odd things while the remnants of that birth control leave your body. Also, if you just moved to Germany that would be a major stress-er I would think.

That would also have an impact on your cycle. It is easier to know what is going on with your body when these things happen if you chart.

This article has some information about charting. http://jocelynstorm.wordpress.com/2009/08/24/organic-birth-control/
