My passport has valid visas for EU but I have no pages left for getting new visa for USA. What is the solution? - Yahoo! Answers

To answer Charlie's question: no, additional pages cannot be added on Indian passports.

Most countries to include Schengen countries, Canada, U.K.

Would not affix a visa to a passport which has additional pages stapled to it.

The U.S. add additional pages since the travellers usually just need visa stamps on entry. To answer your question, you will need to get a passport renewed (Form 1) for your U.S.

Visa application;

Make sure that you place a sticker with "valid visa" on your old passport, so that the passport office does not invalidate the page with your Schengen visa. For travelling to a Schengen country you will need to hold both passports, the old expired one containing the valid visa, and your new passport.. http://passport.gov.in/cpv/Forms.htm ..

You will have to get another one.

Some places don't allow alterations to passports and other documents when traveling.

I think you will need to have both of you passports handy when traveling also.

For proof and verification of person.

In the U.S. we can have pages added to out passports...can you do the same in India?
