So everyonce in a while I click the ads at the bottom of the page just to keep Duff in the green.
I clicked the one for "The Subways."
Is it me, or do they seem to be filling a void left by the Burning Brides hiatus (same band personel, etc...)?

This place is like the fair, only it cost a dollar to get in and the rides are junked cars.

I've heard it before, but it's not bad.
I'm not going to run out and buy their CD, but I don't change the station back to NPR when they're on either.

I don't quite see the Burning Brides similarity other than being a 3 piece with a female bass player.
I do agree about the void left by no new Burning Brides music, but I don't think The Subways are filling it by any means.

I suppose I should have said "trying" to fill the void.
I think there's definitely some similarity in what they're trying to do (rock and roll).
Whether or not they accomplish it may be a different story.
Anyway, I think BB should be back in the swing of things soon, for those of you who have missed them.

Listening to the subways is ok, but they havint caused life to become so utopian that I would forgo running over foreign exchange students on campus.
They have not prevented me from picking up the random hooker nor has this music done much to diminish that pugent odor that wafts outta cookie's bellybutton.
All jokes aside, if you actually like this sorta rubbish feel free to log out of this forum and hang yourself.
