Trouble getting vids to appear in music - XBMC Community Forum
Yes i've read the wiki manuals and even meditated in the shrine of google.
With my old build, which i'm trying to upgrade, I was able to take advantage of the music section's ability to play and repeat whole playlists with my video files by adding all the video extensions to the audio extensions section of xbmc.xml.
It seems i'm having trouble doing the same with AdvancedSettings.xml (TM)
In the absence of the desired behavior from the xbmc 8/13 cvs, i went through several iterations of AdvancedSettings.xml in an attempt to get it to work, but all for naught.

Thinking the torrent I got might have been corrupted, i went straight to irc and got it from there..
Same behavior.
if anyone could assist me on this or tell me if this is a bug which should be reported please let me know.

btw..
From what I read on the 360 it has the worst possible trusted computing DRM they could throw at it.
While I hope for a crack, I'd suggest keeping an eye on ps3.
edit: it worked, though i'd suggest updating the official links =)

The wiki page I was looking at at the time did not have up to date tags for musicextensions..
namely <add>
</add> were not there..
oh well
