I have done everything you can think of, sti connector, it's still saying vaf but then the car runs fine for a little then... .
You sure you have the sti connector? You haven't recently installed a chip into the ecu? Pull the codes, check for vacuum leaks .
I tried doing a search on this but as I went to type the screen went blank. My friend has a 89 pgt with 2.5 inch exhaust and conical air filter. The boost gauge shows 8psi. You can hear air while under boost. And it hits fuel cut like crazy all the time...

If he's reading the stock boost controller? Tell him don't... .
Is he still running the stock boost controller? Is he running a mbc? And fuel cut is coming from hitting more then a 11psi .
Do a boost leak test also check the hose of the wastegate and turbo .
Need a new front wheel bearing. Did some searches, got the lowdown. Seems the biggest risk is wrecking the hub gettin it pressed out (some adapter needed) of the knuckle. I called ford, they can't get a new hub or knuckle ( just incase), but they said...

Its driving on a ....
Its not the press that f's it up.
I would personally use timken bearings only.
The hub is available from napa.
It can egg the hole in the knuckle and can deform the hub too .
You have to watch out for when the bearing gets too wasted .

About....
About the only time I got concerned about anything was after I lowered the vehicle and had to park in any unpaved parking lots with dry grass .
I removed the heat shield when I owned my PGL .
Every time i install my timing belt its always .25 or half a tooth off on the cams lining dead level with each other do you think this should matter?

How many miles? 124,000 if a new belt is installed it should be pretty darn close..check it with the cam timing marks aligned on the rear side of the sprockets: to the surface of the top of the head (where the valve cover gasket... .
Shouldn't really bother it.

So, a while ago it was suggested here that the reason my Probe would mysteriously stall when it got below half-full on gas was because of some sort of flange that must be corroded inside the tank, especially because it's sensitive to inertia, which was...

It's bolted down with one bolt, there's a push button to reset it, but most people bypass it and cut it out .
It's located in the driverside rear.
Sounds like your inertia fuel cut off switch, not your fuel tank .

Well most certainly they are not working right if ... .
Where in Finland? I would probably try to read the error codes from the computer, that could be a good thing to do if you are thinking sensors are not working right .
